Good shop Great work Honest employees Definitely hard to find a shop like this one especially in times like these but they work hard and price fairly. If you have a diesel id recommend them. We bring our ram 2500 they replaced the turbo and a bunch of other components. They are determined to figure out the issue we are currently having and helping us to resolve it. IMPORTANT UPDATE! Well we took them to Small Claims Court and won! Maximum Diesels was ordered to pay all monies due to us including the gas we lost, hotel reservation, all court costs etc. because of their incompentent mechanical skills.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! We took our truck in because the light came on and our gas gauge stopped working. They said it was a bad sending unit so we had them replace it. We left a few days later after picking up our truck to Az. We stopped at Sams Club Bullhead and filled up the tanks before we checked in to our hotel.. When we came back to the truck a few hours later we found that the fuel had been leaking onto their parking lot (so much that security and the fire dept had been called and were there). Of course being on a weekend we had to wait two days to be able to get someone to fix it. Meanwhile we had no truck and had to extend our stay there not to mention the gas lost. The seal on the tank had not been installed properly causing the leak.. The did reimburse us the cost of the repair but only that.. A couple months later we had to bring it to them again because the light came on again.. They said it was a faulty sending unit again and replaced it but did charge us a diagnostic fee which we feel should never had been charged since it was the same issue. Well again short while later the light came on again so this time to try and avoid another diagnostic fee we stopped at Autozone to plug their little diagnostic tool and it said again something wrong with the sending unit so we brought the truck back to them. Needless to say they were not happy and would not fix it and said it was because we were overfilling the auxiliary tank but we have a gravity fill tank so that is not possible. (Note we have had our truck for years and know how to fill the tanks.). Only if we had an electric pump could that happen and we do not.. When the mechanic brought the truck out to us we asked him about it and he told us it was never looked at this time so couldnt say why this was happening. We then immediately took it to another mechanic and they fixed it. We informed the Bureau of Automotive and they investigated and found they were at fault and that besides that the new mechanic said the seal again was not installed properly even though it had not started leaking yet and the Bureau's agent informed them that the reason saying we were overfilling the tank was false and suggested that they return all monies involved but they refused.. The owner has been informed we will be going to court on this. Hope he knows that he must tell the truth or it is perjury and we have all documents in place. Whatever you do dont go to Maximum Diesels if you want honesty. YOUR RESPONSE IS FAR FROM TRUTHFUL! Again there is nothing wrong with our auxiliary tank and yes you spoke to the Bureau of Automotive and they told you you were wrong and that you should return all monies involved and I Do have documentation on this! It will probably take a few months to get this settled in court because they are backed up in cases but rest assured when it is settled I will post my win here. read more

I took my truck here to rebuild my busted engine block.... I was a little concerned at first from the negative reviews I saw on yelp , but I must say the guys at this shop were GREAT!! Was recommended this shop to work on my 88' diesel van and wish I never listened. Poor communication for the first visit, got my van back and the problem I sent it in for was still occurring. Sent the van back, there was better communication and when I got the vehicle back I discovered it still had the same issues that weren't resolved. Management was apologetic and said they'd get me compensated then I was ghosted and never heard back. Have tried to email and call with no answer. Do NOT take your truck here. read more

I have a 99 dodge Cummins. That seems to be in a bastard child of the 24 valve. These guys went above and beyond to get my truck back in working order. It has had problems since I bought it day one a few years ago. Currently the truck drives like a dream and runs better than she ever did. The quality of the job is fantastic. Do not.take your vehicle here they kept my truck for 23 days and charged me 2200$ to do a lift that they charged me 900 for and the other 1300 they pocketed and ripped me off and promised me my truck back multiple times over the last almost 2 weeks and lied over and over they have horrible customer service and did horrible mechanic work I think they caused more problems then fixed read more

Russ and his crew always take good care of my truck. I have found his prices to always be fair and competitive. I converted a 40 year old ford from a gas engine to a 12-valve Cummins. When I got it on the road Russ helped me tune it and get it running right. They are the only shop I have let work on it besides myself. Every time I am in the shop (which isn't often) there is always someone that drove 1-2 hours to get their truck worked on due to their reputation. Never AGAIN!! Went in to support a diesel shop in town and was screwed over. After spending close to if not more than 10k in 2 months and wrapping my 2 vehicles with their logos and info (free advertisement)took my truck in AGAIN for a small oil leak. They said it would be another $4600! At this point I was done getting suckered for money! Took it to another shop for a second opinion and it costed me $250 parts and labor for a damn seal! Ladies please beware! I guess if I would have taken a man or was a male my self they would have thought twice!! Ripped decals off both my vehicles! So much for supporting in town businesses!! Cant believe i been done dirty from these guys. they were my only hope here in SoCal i drive 2 hours to get my truck dropped of there. Im embarassed for them. 13 months ago (12month warranty go figure) i went in for a safety inspection and low power issue (spent $2500). Ron was helping me out... awesome guy. I was told my Turbo return line needs to be fixed because with the new turbo, the return line wasnt done right. They will do it right for $300. "I said fix it" , Transmission oil temp gauge was not working, they said $700 all new gauges, " I said , ef it lets do all gauges" . well long story short, my turbo return line leaked a very small (1 or 2 drops over night) amount after about 6months ... until friday leaked out 1.5 gallons in a 2hr drive. My trans guage works only after driving for 30 min. I happened to be in the yucaipa area looking for a home to purchase at the time, so what better place to drop off the truck than the original place that installed these things. Well hang on tight fellas it gets better. Dan (front desk) says well leave the truck, we will call you tommorow. Dan calls and says $600 to fix turbo return line again, and $100 for a new trans temp probe ( when they installed new gauges they used the old sensor from my old guage)... bottome line Dan says it was not in warranty anymore, so it is $600 or pay $120 for the diagnosis. I said... turbo return line is not a wear item it doesnt spin move or have high pressure.. it just sits there ... $120 to get my truck out.. yes you heard me right $120 to tell me the oil leak is coming from the turbo return line and trans probe is faulty... im hoping Russ ( on vacation or Ron do not know about this issue, i have tried to contact them.....but Dan says hes the man in charge. Im not the legal type of person but in this case i feel like i got screwed big time.... read more

City of San Jacinto wrote 12 code corrections, oil running into storm drains, no customer parking. All trucks parked on public street to be tagged, or broken into. His girlfriend wrote last review that give him a four star No liability insurance or if your truck gets hit on public street you are out. Over booked, trucks sitting there for months. I was from out of town and was recommended to this shop from someone at a auto parts store and I wish I had never asked. They suckered me into a 2500 repair by saying my Injection Pump had gone out and in order to get it done before they left for the holidays it would cost 2500. Well they did not get it done in time so we missed our trip, they installed the WRONG pump and re-wired it so it would work. They also installed in poorly and did not use the proper clamps allowing air to get sucked in. I got the truck home and discovered all of the problems just to have the same problem I dropped the truck off with in the first place. They said sure drive it over and we will look at it.. Well I am SOL basically being from out of town and the truck not being able to turn on. I finally figured the problem out and it had NOTHING to do with fuel delivery once so ever it was actually my glow plugs having no life in them. I had the pump tested and guess what, it passed just fine. I am currently filing a report with BAR and would stay clear of this place if possible. read more
