I would say the same about "pool electricians" if there is such a thing. Dutch Guy Pool Service came out and evaluated our needs, explained what we needed our electrician to do first, and then came back and installed everything when we were ready. The install is great, the plumbing work is excellent as well, and everything was cleaned up and set up for us to use. In addition, I should mention that they showed up when they said they would, which is unfortunately rare these days. Highly recommend for your pool needs of any type... they are truly full service, knowledgeable and reasonable. We'll be using them to clean our tile next...

We met with Collin (the Designer) back in January and told him our ideas. It took about a week and then we met up with him to see what he came up with in terms of design and cost. In February we met with Ryan (the site supervisor) about the construction of the pool. He was also very knowledgeable and explained what would happen throughout the construction process. My husband also kept in contact with him in case he had any questions. The construction process began in February. We weren't moved into our new home yet so the noise wasn't an issue for us but it's loud. Because we had fairly good Spring Weather the construction process went quickly. We were told that weather could delay the process but we didn't really have issues with the weather at that time. We went to our new home regularly to check on the progress of the pool which moved along quickly. Our pool was completed in mid May about a week before our move in date. So when we moved into our new home we had a completed swimming pool. It's great! We have used it multiple times and love that it was ready in time for the Summer. Overall Cody Pools did a magnificent job. Collin and Ryan were friendly and very helpful throughout the entire process. We are no further along now than we were then. They have falsified dates several times of when they will be out to complete the project. When I called today (from a different number so they would answer) I was told they were finishing a project in Lubbock. According to Jim Adams (San Juan rep), Texas Cool Pools does not service that area. Dean stated they would be at our house the middle of April and this did not happen. Eric then stated in writing they would be out between May 18th and 31st and that did not happen. A friend called today and spoke with Marie about getting a new pool. She was told 8-12 weeks for the pool to be delivered and 30-45 to complete it. They are continuing to intentionally fraud people. If you are deciding which pool builder to go with, I would not choose this company. If you have recently signed a contract in the last few months, there is a good chance they were not truthful about any aspect of the process and time it will take to complete it. Water puddles all the time on it...electrical threat. I don't think these people know what they're doing. Their staff is unfriendly and rude. I would never ever recommend them.
