The job was so so.....but whatever, they're work boots. I didn't need them to look great, just have new soles and be strong. Within a month, the heels peeled off. I brought them back in, and he "kinda" fixed them. Not really. All I said to him was, "If I can pull this heel off with my hands, I want a refund for the repair" He said sure, go ahead, try. I pulled the heel off, and he started slamming his fists on the counter and screaming at me! With another customer in the store (sorry to the woman standing behind me who had to witness that) Don't waste your money- unless you want to overpay for a shoddy repair with no guarantees. He has carefully repaired everything I've brought to him & all within a timely manner. Today he repaired my favorite pair of platform heels in 7 minutes. This is located right past the very speedy TSA checkpoint. This is not a rush job, they use several waxes and many different tools (brushes, lighter, various rags). The guys are all cool - they will BS with you if you feel talkative or you can play on your phone. I got a shine from the younger guy who works there and he did an awesome job. He re-laced my shoes and gave them a new life. I was about to toss these, but will hold on to them for a little while longer. Try this shoe shine stand out - you won't be disappointed. $7 for dress shoes, but they do sneakers, boots and other footware. They take major credit cards via square reader.
