The message said I need at least 37 psi. I pulled into this Discount tire center and they pumped 35 psi of air into my tire. They told me to drive around and it should turn off. I drove a mile, and the light stayed on. Too bad they were 2 PSI short. How do I know? Because I drove to Les Schwab next and got the 2 PSI that I needed to turn it off. 4 stars for the effort! It would've easily been 5 stars if they gave me 2 more psi of air.

Fair enough, easy fix. Instead, they chopped it off on the passenger side. About a day later, the noise was back. I crawled under the car and could see the drivers side was doing the same. I took a screwdriver and bent the shield out of the way and noise never returned. I'm just baffled that they didn't know how to fix the issue easily or without a less destructive way. Tells me they didn't test drive it or really diagnose the issue to begin with.

After a phone call where I was told service was closed until Monday morning but could use the drop-off service, I had the vehicle towed to Town Chrysler. I left a brief note stating the basic issue and the keys, with a promise to call and answer questions. I was contacted before I could call and was promised a rough diagnosis later that day. As promised, I was contacted that afternoon. Bent pushrods, probably a timing chain failure. We agreed on a engine replacement. Expected time for the new engine was 5 days; they had it in 3. Installation and checkout took about a week and a half. They were very thorough and kept me informed along the way. My service rep, Doug, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, a great experience for an out-of-towner.
