I went in at 9:45am all bays were empty and 2 people were in the waiting room, and 4 people standing around in the shop. The person behind the counter told me a two hour wait. They tried. I had just left the hotel ready to drive from Wenatchee to Tacoma when the TPMS light goes on and says I have low tire pressure in the right front tire. The message said I need at least 37 psi. I pulled into this Discount tire center and they pumped 35 psi of air into my tire. They told me to drive around and it should turn off. I drove a mile, and the light stayed on. Too bad they were 2 PSI short. How do I know? Because I drove to Les Schwab next and got the 2 PSI that I needed to turn it off. 4 stars for the effort! I have been a customer for years and I came in last week with a leak in one of my tires and Xander didn't do his job in my opinion. He simply looked at my tires, filled with air and said he didn't find anything. Went to a different tire shop and they immediately said my tire could have popped. Went there for a tire pressure check but no one ever acknowledged me , numerous employees saw me parked in front of where you should be. Waited and waited even another customer drove up and waited but they eventually left ,gave it another 5 min and left. Called the store and asked why no one walked out , employee stated they were behind on appointments but allow an what looked like an employee working on his personal vehicle taking up a bay. Wouldn't you know it, I had to drive to wenatchee and back from Kirkland to visit a work client and while I was going over Snoqualmie pass my tpms came on alerting me that my driver side rear tire was down to 190 kPA when it's normally at 330. I found the closest tire store to pull into and have them take a look, that happened to be Discount Tire. The staff were very quick to evaluate my tire and let me know that there was a puncture on the side wall and it was sadly non repairable. They didn't have my same tire in stock so they offered to install my spare but due to needing to drive back over the pass I declined and they hooked me up with a new tire with similar tread and before I knew it I was on my way. True story.... Moving from Puget Sound to Appalachians. We leaving the puget sound towing a 30' RV, on our way through Wenatchee our back tire blows, doesn't go flat, straight up blows a hole through the tread. It's 90 out, we have two dogs and we need to get a replacement, in fact we need 5 (cover the spare as well). We call discount and get ahold of Jr. who finds us 5 tires but also gets us in as soon as we'll get there. They even offer to change the tires with the trailer still attached. What a stressful situation but thankfully these folks came trough in a pinch and got is back in the road and we even made our next destination on time. Sorry for the details but seriously, these guys ROCK. I have used Discount in several states and never had a complaint, always good service. Today was exceptional. read more

Amazing customer service. In Wenatchee for the weekend, our tire sensor came on with low pressure warning, we happened to have a piece of wire stuck in one of them. With my air check I also got a health dose of "go back to Seattle as soon as you spend money" from the dopey guy doing the check. I have over 13 years experience in the automotive industry. The last several years was spent managing a competitor to.discount tire down in Oregon. I am new to the area and chose to go to discount tire because I could never beat there prices as a competitor. Going into this experience I was nervous. I know all too well all of the things that can go wrong. Bad service, Wrong tires, Scratched wheels, etc. These guys did awesome. I walked away speechless. I don't know who the manager is but he is killing it. All the employees were wearing safety glasses. The counter was fully staffed. All of the service writers appeared as though they were happy (let's be honest first thing in the morning with a line of 20+ customers, that is difficult for the most experienced service writers. And these guys had some grumpy customers. ) Staff was all in uniform and looked confident enough. Correct tires were installed. Correct load range. Tires were directional and installed the right way. Tire pressures were correct front vs rear (1 ton truck 60 front 80 rear) studs were installed well, (not half sticking out like I have seen my guys do unfortunately.). Wheels were tourqued and not scratched. As a former manager I understand every now and then you get bad emloyees or employees have a bad day. This can lead to an isolated bad customer experience which usually results in a 1 star review. I came in on the Saturday before Thanksgiving during the height of change over season and was there right at open. This is usually when you would expect the worst service. But not here. Extremely impressed. Good crew. Good organization. Good energy. Keep it up. I'll be back. read more

I had an appointment @ 1100 for x4 new tires. I was done at 1230. They put the wrong pressure in my front tires-even after having read the door label et al. I had to return to them because they did not adjust my TPMS system. It was stuck. The price was right on the tires, but there were extras. They could have done better. I had nothing but excellent experience at Wenatchee Discount Tire. We had a swim meet during the weekend at Wenatchee, and got a flat tire on Saturday night. We went to Costco on Sunday to repair and were told it was not repairable and they did not carry the tire we needed. If we ordered through them, it would take 5 to 7 days. We extended our stay at Wenatchee, and came to Discount Tire first thing on Monday morning. We were in and out just 30 minutes, they repaired the flat tire and rotated tires for us without charge. I'm a solo traveler and when I got in a flat tire pickle way out in the cascades these guys were up bright and early on Monday morning and the manager himself helped me with my vehicle and offered me coffee and a place to sit. Staff asked me about everything from where I wanted my tie downs to plugging my other damaged tire for free, putting it on my spare, and discounting a second tire purchase to match my rears. Needed one tire replaced, went in on a Saturday, was told they would have it in on Monday. I drive away and they call me saying it will be more like Wednesday or Thursday, fine, that's kind of what I expected. Thursday rolls around and I call, now it will be in Friday, I show up Friday and after calling two warehouses they come to the conclusion my ordered didn't go through somehow, so monday. I go in Monday and they say the computer says it should have been there Friday. I take my time back and go to Les Schwab, they have what I need in stock. Ended up with tire problems while driving from Conconully to Everett with my cat and a packed car and trunk on September 26. Called Discount Tire and explained the problem and situation in route to Wenatchee and they assured me they had four tires to fit my car. When I arrived they said I only needed the two front tires replaced (which is what I thought) and it would take around 45 minutes. I reminded them that I had my cat (in the carrier in the showroom) so replacing the tires as fast as possible would be great. We were back on the road in 20 minutes! I come back and the guy tells me he cannot even work on my tires because of how the are wearing. Also I need tires immediately!! If that was the case why even put air in my tire??? Took it over to Les Schwab they fix it for free with no problem. I hate scare tactics trying to force me to buy something. I just purchased my 4th set of tires from Discount Tire since they opened in Wenatchee. The first set of Falkens I put on my truck had disappointing performance - no problem, they prorated the warranty and applied that to my 2nd set (BF Goodrich KO2, love these tires!). They beat Costco's price on the KO2s. Next I put an inexpensive set on the Isuzu my son uses when home from college in the summer - under $600 out the door for a good quality set of 17" tires. That's all good, but this week topped all previous experiences. I did an online review search for the top end all season tires for my wife's Cadillac SRX, and settled on some awesome Pirellis. I found them online for $53 less per tire, pasted the url into Discount's price challenge on their website. I received a call within an hour that they would honor that price, and could have the tires in the next day. They were good to their word, and took me with no appointment when they arrived. They were done in just over an hour, but what really takes the cake was the technician showed me where they accidentally scratched one of the rims, explained it would take about 4 days for the new replacement rim they had already ordered to arrive, and when it comes in they will call me and replace it no charge. No hemming and hawing, asking if I was ok with it, not to mention NOT failing to mention it - even though they were already down $230 due to matching the online vendors price. Great service, great prices, and they really do treat customers the way they would like to be treated themselves. I am a fan. read more

Their service is excellent... i have purchased two sets of tires and great prices (better than the competition)... they provide lots of free services and it is quick... on both occasions from the time I walked in, picked out the tires and had them mounted and balanced I was out in about 40 minutes! Since Discount Tire has opened in Wenatchee, I have price checked them several times and ended up purchasing two and a half sets of tires from them. The half set was to replace a tire that was damaged in an accident. I went to three tire stores and they all knew what i was doing, but Discount Tire was the only store who offered they honored all manufacturer warranties, and ended up prorating the cost of my damaged tire. Two days later I price-checked them again for a set of truck tires and they blew the competition's doors off by over $100 on a $700 set. Their customer service was excellent at all levels, from manager to man on the line. I asked one of the workers a question about tire siping and he gave me a full education.
