That in itself was a win but to top it off, a confusion with SDG&E resulted in gas shut off being cancelled. Toby called me at 7pm on a Friday, had worked the issue with SDG&E and his team who originally had the tent over the house by 11am came back and waited 3 hours on a Friday night awaiting SDG&E. Their prompt response and dedication to all my kids and I to come back into our house on Sunday was amazing. I am confident that other companies would have just called it a day and I would have been left scrambling to come up with a new plan and would have had more out of pocket costs. When I called AIPM for a second opinion, I was greeted by a very knowledgeable and polite gentleman named Jordan. He spent nearly an hour inspecting our home (for free!) and shared there were 3 locations on side that needed treatment and the situation was not bad enough to require tenting. I asked a slew of question and he answered all of than knowledgeably. We then scheduled an appointment where Jorge, with over 10 years experience came to do the work. He was incredible and as he said, "small and nimble enough" to get up/over/around all the beams to treat areas and do a second inspection in others. He then cared entire attic with a Borax (sp?). It was a very reasonable price and I get a free inspection in 11 months to ensure no new termites, or the work is free. Highly recommend!

I am giving Green Flash 2 stars based on a severely rushed recent inspection and the poor quality…read moreof their past repair work. Recently, I had them come out because I suspected termites in one of our rafter tails. To their credit, they correctly identified that specific spot as just fungus and didn't try to oversell me on treatments I didn't need. However, their inspection was incredibly brief. They spent only a few minutes scanning the house, didn't check the attic at all, and gave us the all-clear. A couple of days later, I had a second company come out for another look. They spent almost an hour doing a thorough inspection and found a severe termite infestation in a different rafter tail that was almost entirely hollowed out. They spotted the signs right through the paint. Green Flash completely missed this. On top of the missed inspection, the wood rot repairs Green Flash did for us 5 years ago (costing about $1,200) have both failed and need to be redone. They spliced a rafter tail that is now loose, and it turns out they miscut a replacement barge board on the back of the house. To cover up the bad cut, they glued a scrap piece of wood over it, which has since detached and is currently hanging off the board. Bottom line: They failed to do a thorough termite inspection, and their carpentry work doesn't hold up. I highly recommend getting a second opinion on their inspections and hiring a dedicated specialist for any actual wood repairs.
