These guys really takes care of their local neighborhood. Just want to express how amazing this company is. First service was bee execution that infested the roof of our house. They took care of the job and even went around the house to make sure there weren't any visible holes that the bees could get in from again.. then knowing I can trust this company, I called again to take care of a possible animal invasion into our attic since a new hole had come up.. and luckily Ricardo came in to help this time. He was super friendly, approachable, and helped inspect our attic like an expert. He knew what to look for and luckily found nothing. This would have cost us $150 in other companies, but I'm so happy with Jamul Pest Control that they don't price gouch. This company came to our house to spray for ants. They said they have a 30 day warranty. I had ants show up again in one small upstairs kitchen 60 days later. I was hoping they would just come by while in the area for another job & just spray that one area (we had the entire house done before). I think it would probably take 15 or 20 minutes. Unfortunately when I called, I was told the warranty was over & I would have to pay the full price again ($249). I would think at the very least, they would have given me a price of half off or less since it one small area. Whenever spring or summer hit we encounter an ant problem here in Spring Valley, but thanks to Jamul Pest Control, we haven't had any issues for a few years now. Thanks to our regular guy, Ben, for always taking care of us and spraying our exterior to help with keeping ALL of the bugs out. And also for not minding our dogs while they bark at him. I have been using Jamul pest control for a couple years now... the business owner Aaron was the first person I contacted when I was freaking out over scorpion and spider issues ... his Technician Steve has been out a few times, he always sends a text a day or 2 ahead of time to let me know what day and window of time he will be out. He always greets me with a smile when he arrives ! And he always asks how things have been and if we are having any issues he should be aware of. I bring all my dogs inside so Steve can do his thing ... he doesn't even mind my nosey goats that see him and automatically think he might have treats. So...originally I wanted my husband to spray around the house and so I reached out to my neighbors for recommendations about PRODUCTS for spraying around the house for minor spider infestation and such. I'm not sure if people just didn't read my message about "product" or if they thought I wanted a pest control company, but everyone replied with the same answer over and over again.(see pics) So I decided this was a SIGN and called Aaron! Well, he was AhhhhMAZING by far!!! Wait...there's more!!! Aaron was not only nice and cordial on the phone, but I also didn't have to wait days for him to come by and take a look like most pest control companies. He worked me in his schedule rather quickly. My husband contacted Jamul Pest Control when the rats in our attic found their way into our house. He contacted them and Aaron reached out to him directly within minutes and scheduled a free estimate. He came over on a Saturday (he worked with my husbands work scheudle) and performed a visual inspection. We showed him the areas where we suspect the rats were coming in from. He checked our attic and confirmed our worst nightmare!! The rats had already made nest in our attic. He provided us a quote on the spot with a very reasonable price and breakdown. We accepted and he added us to his schedule right away. They have completed their job as per contract from start to finish and as of today we have no more activity in the attic. They took pictures and video as the job was being completed to show us how things were coming along. They removed the attic insulation, cleaned and sanitized our attic of rat urine and droppings. Hauled away all debris. Installed new insulation throughout entire attic and all while catching some left over rats and setting new traps. Keep in mind they worked in our attic with 90° plus weather!!! They located and covered the entrances the rats made into our attic and roof . They repaired the drywall that was also open and used as an entrance to our roof. We signed up to have the perimeter of our house sprayed for bugs and they also set traps around to catch any lingering rats. Aaron and his team went above and beyond to complete this job and we are more then satisfied with the outcome. They are professional and know what they are doing. The owner, Aaron kept in contact with us and followed up after the guys left to see how it went and to let's us know the next step. Jamul Pest Control , we can't thank you guys enough !!! In the last few months I really starting have a big gopher problem in my yard. The worse I've ever seen in years. I went ahead and decided to hire pest control. I saw their trucks drive on my street so just went for it. Called and next couple days John Ochoa came out did his inspection and everything and told me how it worked. I went ahead and purchased a 6 month plan. He did his work and I have not since a gopher yet. He took care of that. Additionally yesterday he came out cause I noticed mounds coming up in my backyard. His response was quick and he even went to a more hilly part of my yard to bait the gophers. I'm sure he will get them! I just want to say. I highly recommend them, the service and John. Terrible work. One month of "service" had two visits and one of them was because I called them about being unsaitisfied. $160 for 3 traps and 2 visits over a month(one of them prompted by my call) and we had zero results. We still have gophers and we wasted $160 dollars. Complete rip off! We had to cancel them must note the traps caught NOTHING, we saw the gophers make holes next to the traps and literally walk around the traps. read more

Honestly my review is more about the pre-service experience, I unfortunately never was able to contact the company and setup service. I was looking for new service for my home in Jamul, a local Jamul Facebook group had several recommendations for Jamul Pest Control so I went to their website and filled out the form asking for a service consultation. Waited over a week, no contact (no attempt via email or phone). Ok it happens, maybe the website had an error. Called directly, got a machine, left a message no response after another 4 days. Lastly I went to their Facebook page and sent them a message, no response. I called another firm yesterday D&S Pest Control, they answered the phone and came out to bid for ongoing service today. In summary, 3 attempts to contact, no response from Jamul Pest Control. I honestly hope your experience is better. Update (literally 30 minutes later): So apparently they do check their Yelp reviews because I was contact via FaceBook messenger within minutes of posting my review. The person who contacted me stated: 1) They received no call from me, he then sent me screen shots of his call log to prove this. I pointed out my call was indeed on his call list and was told that since my area code was not 619 they assumed it was a scam (really ?) 2) I asked why they didn't respond to my web site request; he stated he does not regularly check the business email because no one apparently has used the website before (really ??) 3) I asked why they didn't respond to my FaceBook contact on THEIR Facebook page. Apparently they don't check that either. 4) Lastly I was told my review isn't reasonable because reviews are ONLY for the service and not about the pre-service experience. Yelp and I both disagree strongly. Again, I hope your experience with them is much better than mine.
