Don't trust a random pet store unless you know exactly what to look for. Her animals are diseased…read moreand dying, especially the birds. The bearded dragons just look sick and sad. I purchased a mouse from her once, two days later she died from wet tail. I will never go inside again, I gave it two stars because she owns a very sweet tortious and I'm sure she's doing her best.. But she shouldn't bite off more than she can chew. The animals health should be top priority.

Her store is not big time crisp and clean. It is a hometown store where you get homegrown care. We have never met a more compassionate, caring person when it comes to animal care. Her animals look good, fed and if you see one not well, just ask. Most likely she took it in. She takes in the injured, sick, hungry. Gets them well and on their way. One little known fact, she uses her own money for vet care for most of these. Not sure what is going on with your own animal?? Stop in and get an answer. Then support your local hometown pet store and buy something. Just want to meet a good person. Dont forget to look for Stumpy.

The fish I bought were going to go into a larger tank with plenty of space and I wanted to purchase one more fish, but the employee was rude and told me I could buy the 3 I had, but I could not buy the other one I wanted. She didn't give me a choice or anything. As far as I'm concerned the customer is always supposed to be right to a certain extent. They're not friendly here.

These folks know their aquascaping. Their prices indicate they're proud of that which they offer,…read morebut it's all premium stuff. I'd advise taking care with fish- they use RO water, so drip acclimation will be necessary if you're on KC tap water. The Pygmy's cories I got from them were healthy, but they needed a slow acclimation to be put into my quarantine. They're now in the display. They're knowledgeable about their fish and plants (I'd assume salt water as well, but I don't have a saltwater tank, so I can't say one way or the other). The plants I've purchased from them have been great, except for one buce brownie tissue culture that melted and hasn't come back, but apparently my tank doesn't like buce, because I've tired multiple times, and buce melts and never come back, so I don't fault them for that. Their plants are nearly always in good shape and happy. I did buy some downoi that was super leggy, and so I trimmed it to use only the best of it. It's there, in the tank, and I'm watching to see what it does. But the tissue culture of the downoi I got from them really took off, and is propagating just fine. Their cost is in line with online sellers when you factor in shipping. I'll continue to use them. I've been pleased with the knowledge of the employees and their locality.

A friend had recently been in the hospital, so she wasn't able to wash her dog, and I couldn't wash…read moreher dog, because the dog didn't know me. She called Petco, and got a same-day appointment to have the dog washed and clipped. When we walked in, no one was at the check-in, so we waited a few minutes, then found someone to page them. A young lady came out, and was friendly both to us and to the dog. She took the dog back with hugs and kisses, and let us know that she would call when the dog was ready. We were able to get my friend home, run errands, and get back to pick up a well-groomed doggie when we got the call. Thanks, Petco!
