Iced coffee with caramel and chai latte
    Demure Vegan ..

I stopped by Plant City (Barrington) for a quick bite and some drinks. I ordered the macadamia ricotta toast (w gf bread) and the gf maple pecan donut, along with an oatmilk iced coffee with caramel and an almond milk chai latte. The macadamia ricotta was so creamy and delicious. The donut was just as amazing, perfectly sweet with a hint of maple and the crunch of pecans. As for the drinks, the iced coffee was strong and smooth. The chai latte was perfectly spiced and creamy, making it the ultimate comfort drink. I'm already looking forward to my next visit

We are a huge fan of Plant City and excited to visit the new Barrington location. It is very cute, offering the biggest hits from Plant City and all of my favorites the Dorado Tacos, Truffle Burger, Ceasar Salad and Pesto Pizza. This time, we wanted a snack since we had NYE dinner reservations. We ordered to share the Ceasar Salad and tried the Everything Fries ( Cashew Queso on the side because I allergic, but my husband enjoyed it! ) which is now making my favorites list! We also ordered a maple cinnamon latte with pistachio milk and vanilla latte with pistachio milk which were incredible! To go, we bought a Plain Croissant, Pumpkin Spice Poptart, and Molassas Cookie to go. All delicious, but the Molasses Cookie is now an obsession, so chewy on the outside, soft interior Love this location outside of the city, with the greatest hits, small market, plenty of parking, and super close to Colt State Park where we walked around with our pup right after.

    Avacado and tuna toast

I'd give 3.5 stars, honestly. I've been going since they opened and they have made improvements. Food items are hit or miss. I really like the Cobb and Caesar salad and I LOOOVE the mushroom tacos. The nachos aren't my favorite (and I'm disappointed about that, they just fell flat with flavor). The avocado toast with the tuna is amazing, without the tuna it's also very good but the tuna really makes it for me. The smoothies are great as is the ice cream. I'm ok with the burger but the chicken sandwich is a hard pass for me.y daughter loves the pastries. I also wish they'd tell you on the menu what their chicken is, etc so I don't have to awkwardly ask the girls at the register and have them look into each item on the spot...because they don't know the answers. I'd rather be told what I'm being served vs what it should resemble in a non vegan world. I'm not there for chicken, please don't call it chicken. Anyway, I suspect there's a lot of sugar and calories in the menu items but would really appreciate transparency with their foods...especially as someone with a food allergy. Staff I'm mixed on. Those working behind the counter aren't knowledgeable and being that there are no nutrition facts available online or in store makes it worse. The staff preparing and out in the seating area are very nice and go out of their way to be helpful. As for the atmosphere, it's more inviting than it was when it opened and I appreciate the improvements with window treatments and floor plants. There's still room to improve in the organization of the trash though...it's confusing. The prices are also high. Lunch for two is probably going to be 50ish for 2, with no service and a fast food/takeout quality.

Great new Plant City in Barrington. Similar aesthetic to the one in PVD but much smaller venue and just on counter for service. I tried their tofu teriyaki "sushi" roll, which was cool and innovative but I think I prefer my sushi with actual fish, but I understand that's not part of the concept here. My friend enjoyed her faux chicken sandwich, which for the same price as the "sushi" was much more substantial. Service was quick at the counter on a Saturday afternoon. We liked the atmosphere and relaxed for awhile in the booths. I'd definitely return here but would opt for something other than the sushi. Also, note there is no bar here (unlike PVD). Good parking and right near Shaw's and other local businesses like Barrington Books.

Awesome spot! Dog friendly patio. The inside is clean, inviting, offers an impressive amount of gluten free and vegan options for snacks on top of their daily menu. The service was great - everyone was friendly, helpful, and polite. A worker came out and gave our dog a pup cup complimentary - he loved it! The coffee was delicious, the avocado toast was good, the blueberry peach poptart was so flavorful and the croissant breakfast sandwich was also delicious. 10/10 will be back!

I've only visited the Plant City location in Providence, and I found the Barrington location to be smaller, but it offers a more neighborhood-friendly selection of products along with a variety of quick bites and sweet treats. So far, I've tried their coffee, salad, mushroom sandwich, and chocolate-vanilla swirled soft ice cream, all of which were excellent. I also appreciate the simple interior. The only drawback was that some staff members were a bit too chatty with each other and didn't always pay attention to customers. Overall, I'm excited to explore more of the menu. Welcome to Barrington!

Absolutely love the new Plant City! It's such an awesome addition to Barrington and perfect that it's right off the bike path. My family and I take morning walks there and love all the healthy options. I always get a kombucha or matcha late and the plant based sausage croissant breakfast sandwich is delicious! I am not actually vegan but I am health focused and try to eat as many plants as possible, so I love it!

    Cacio e pepe, nachos
    Alexandra C.

Favorites from the Plant City Providence menu have made their way to Barrington! They have quick and friendly service with great vibes and decor! The cacio e pepe was truly out of this world and the pasta is made fresh in house! Also a great spot to go for bites and coffee on the go!

Enjoying the new Plant City with my Mother in Law.

Classic burger is the best vegan burger I've ever eaten! Very attractive dine-in area. Fast service. I will definitely go back.

The fresh pasta made…read morein-house is incredible and everything on the menu is vegan and delicious, even to my somewhat picky omnivore dining partners :). Everyone who works there is friendly and inviting, and even gave us a cute little amuse to start the night and the buckwheat shortbread to end. Here's everything we ordered: Agnolotti stuffed with tofu ricotta, with English peas, bacon, and a savory broth (my entree, I loved this - the broth was quite salty but the peas added a lovely freshness) Fazzoletti e funghi: local blue oyster mushrooms in a white wine cream sauce ‍ (my Mom's entree, also delicious and so umami) "Ivy rose" mocktail with grapefruit, prickly pear, and limeade (delightful!) Appetizers: fried squash blossoms stuffed with tofu ricotta in pomodoro sauce, and housemade focaccia with a trio of whipped butters (thyme and shallot, Calabrian chili, and smoked sweet onion). The ratio of butter to focaccia was more than double what we could use (we ordered more focaccia to spread it on!) but both of these apps were perfect. Foglia burger: house burger patty, tomato jam, garlic aioli, lettuce, onions, pickles, onion ring, housemade focaccia, and spicy agave parsnip fries (my dad's entree and to my delight he really enjoyed it!) Dessert: a gigantic slice of tiramisu (my favorite cake!). This was a huge slab, enough to share and have some leftover for breakfast. A little on the dry side for tiramisu but still really nice. Foglia is such a gem and we had a great time in Bristol, it's a beautiful town. The restaurant is small and cozy but was not too busy when we went. I highly recommend Foglia for a special occasion!

I SO badly wanted to love it but I just can't give the place above a 2 star. The first thing they…read morebrought was almost comical: a nickel-sized square of focaccia with a bit of jam and cheese. I have never in my life been served what I'd consider half a bite of food. I'd almost rather they bring nothing at all than a comically small piece of bread. My food (basil pesto pasta) was good but the quantities are quite small, especially for the price. TLDR: Don't come hungry or on a budget. The real reason for the low rating was the $34 mushroom entree. "Potatoes" here just means two bites of potato, which is kind of crazy considering how cheap potatoes are. "Carrots" meant 4 (kind of sad) carrots, and the mushroom (the main part of the dish) was so small it was comical. My dad was disappointed (he also wanted to love it here) and when they asked how it was, he gave his honest feedback. The waitress took the info back and he repeated his thoughts to the manager about the disappointing portion. He said he only got like two bites of potato and she said "oh they weren't in pyramids?" (Like that resolves the quantity of food?) He repeated again that it was about the quantity and was told "No one has said that about this." I suppose people must only have thought it... Felt really dismissive to say to someone, especially because this plate was apparently new (they said today was the first day they had it). They didn't comp anything or even discount it after the manager came over, which I feel like is standard practice when folks are unhappy with their meal. Felt like she just wanted to shut down the complaint rather than resolve it. They brought us, at the end of the meal, a "thank you" which was 2 lemon candies... there were 3 of us (not that we really wanted them anyway, but weird to not give at least one per person). The atmosphere is relaxed, the place is quite small in a sweet way and it's tucked away from the street, but I will never return. Ridiculous pricing for tiny portions. It felt like a SNL skit.

On to the review! party of 6 and we must have been lucky because there was a table ready and didn't even have to wait( place was busy). We were waited on right away and got our drink orders in and with in minutes we had them and we all know what we wanted already so we put our orders in and the server asked if we wanted our food together or just bring it out as it gets done. We all agreed as it gets done and before you know it fresh pipping hot food starts arriving to our table. While waiting for the food and talking with the family I was able to get a good vibe check of the ambiance of this place and I must say I good really great vibe and felt like was just a bunch of happy people eating and having greats convos with one another. :-) On to the food! Nachos - Super awesome and crunchy and fresh. not soggy at all and a huge portion for 15 bucks! Margherita pizza - Super fresh piping hot pizza with fresh tomatoes and Basil! Sriracha Buffalo Cauliflower - This is where things started to turn inconsistent. let's see we had three orders of these and pretty much all three orders looked different, tasted different and some of the bigger pieces were not cooked through. All three of us did share each others to compare tastes. Reggie's Raw Heaven Salad - I did not eat the salad but I looked at it and asked the couple how they liked it and they said it was awesome! Note to self to try next time! Sweet Potato Wedges - Hot and fresh but again with the inconsistency, some were over cooked almost burnt and some were a little under cooked but for the most part they were nice and crunchy on the outside and nice and pillowy soft on the inside. Overall - I do love this place, I can't wait to come back and see if the food can be a little more consistent.. This place has really great vibe to it and I do recommend it for a good vegan food spot!
