Just came in here for the first time and it was so delicious. It's not the cheapest place around, but they really don't compromise on quality or flavor so it was totally worth it. We got hot chocolate and a London Fog, two sandwiches and a pastry and everything was delicious. Would 100% come back because they have such a good hot chocolate. The most friendly owners! Always present and helpful. Went in today for lunch. Everything is prepared and fresh. I got the cranberry pecan chicken wrap and it was so delicious. Hi Sherry: We were not looking for a full breakfast however the selections were limited or sold out at 11:30. We settled on the panini but expected much for the price $11 it is more in relation to the overall size of the bread where the diameter is small or sub standard size compared to others. The thing we objected to in terms of attitude was how we were asked with her hand gestures to move back. Of course we would have obliged on our own if we felt as if we were in the way. After reading other reviews it appears several customers feel the same . My sister and I stopped there on our way out of town for a quick breakfast bite . I love this shop! They are the "pantry" to the Beehive Cafe, in downtown Bristol. They sell pastries, take and bake items (like cookie dough, Mac and cheese, pizza dough, etc.), cakes/cupcakes, premade food (such as seasoned cooked chicken breasts, salmon and sides) and other goodies. They also offer some items for a quick breakfast/lunch. This includes coffee, tea, two breakfast options and two lunch sandwiches (along with anything in the windows). There are usually lots of staff members working, so there is never a wait. I came in for the chickpea seasoning, which they use in the Cafe. Making roasted chickpeas with this flavor is one of my meal prep staples! Absolutely recommend a visit! I assure you it will become a regular stop for your errands. read more

We went to both the cafe and the pantry today (don't judge me, we are on vacation!) I liked the pantry better - but that's because I'm a savory over sweet type of gal. Due to the reviews, I had to try the butternut squash calzone. Definitely NOT what I would order, but my curiosity was peaked. Wow! Just wow. The crust was so thin and delicate - much different than others I have had. My husband chose the pepperoni calzone and tomato soup. Let me tell you - these people were not stingy with the meat!!! I am torn about my rating but allow me to explain. I came across the Beehive Pantry through their social media and was immediately excited about the look of their donuts. Apparently donut Saturday is a big deal here so I had to partake. Based on pictures and reviews, it appeared that we should arrive early to make sure we didn't have to wait in a line. Their posts always say, "Come get them before they're gone!" My husband went when they opened on a Saturday and not only was there no line but there was also no donuts. We weren't aware that they weren't available until later in the morning. Bummer. Luckily they had some, but not all, made. My husband basically had to buy all that they had, although it was only about 10 donuts to begin with. He also got me a chocolate chip cookie and about $40 later he left (a bit pricey). We sampled the donuts and were very impressed by their old fashioned donuts. We were sad we didn't get to try the chocolate or their special but we did try cinnamon sugar and glazed. When I say these donuts are amazing, I am not kidding. I was not expecting them to be so good. The only negative about the old fashioned was that it tasted as if the frying oil was shared with something else like fries or something similar to that. It was slight but I could taste it. They're still very good though. The other donuts., however... We dug into the yeast raised next. We both took a bite of the plain glazed and looked at each other like, "How are these so terrible and the other ones were so insanely good???" They were chewy, tasteless, and honestly it felt like I was eating pizza dough. Very odd. We gave the coffee cake yeast a taste and it was the same thing. We didn't even want to try their strawberry yeast because we were too grossed out. I did give their peanut butter cheesecake filled a chance and had to spit it out. The filling tasted like spoiled milk and again it had the chewy pizza dough taste. What was happening? I have no clue but I really could not eat it. I must say their chocolate chip cookie was yummy but nothing memorable. So...in conclusion, go for the old fashioned donuts and do not bother with the yeast unless you're into that sort of thing. And I'm not sure what time you should go but I guess take a chance and figure it out for yourself. If they can perfect their yeast raised then they could certainly earn high ranks among the other RI donut gems. I will have to try some of their other goodies before completely turning them away but I am still confused about this place! read more

This place fell way below expectations. We stopped for something sweet. Malasata and banana fudge donuts were all they had left; We tried both. The banana fudge was ok, it tasted like banana bread with chocolate, nothing spectacular. The malasatas (Portuguese dough fried with granulated sugar) were so squishy they seemed like they were filled. They weren't, just very greasy and flavorless. Even the sugar coating didn't seem to change the greasy flavor. Paid $10.80 for 3 donuts. Bottom line: the donuts wet so disappointing we would not come here again. read more

I went today for the first time . I was excited about going after reading all the positive reviews. I was sadly disappointed by one of the counter staff. She was abrupt and seemed like she wasn't interested in me looking around. It was more like hurry up and get out. From what I could tell it had a nice selection of coffee and tea. Pastry looked good. It was the end of the day so I'm sure there's more to choose from if you hit it in the am . I purchased two salads that looked great. I went because it was recommended by another yelp member. I noticed Some outdoor seating. I don't fault the business but it's important to feel comfortable when walking into a bakery/ cafe. Waitress comes over as we are still drinking our coffees and told us "you have to leave or go find another seat upstairs.. We have a group of 8 coming in"... I've been here several times, and live right around the corner. This should be my favorite go to spot that I can't resist. But it's not. I find the Customer Service less than ideal, impatient. I think they do get some regulars and they think everyone should just walk in and slam out an order. It's very cramped inside, and the seating outside is right on the parking lot. I'm a foodie but I've never found anything here I just had to have, again. It's got such a different vibe from the Beehive Café. Even though that place is much busier, it still has a comfortable feel to it. Here you walk in instantly you have people staring you down if you don't order right away. My daughter recently got married in Bristol and we were looking for food to be delivered as the bridal party got ready for the wedding. A friend suggested the Beehive Pantry, and we are glad they did! The food was delivered on time, and it was delish!! The sandwiches we ordered were the turkey bacon brie, ham and swiss, and mozzerella, tomato and pesto. We also got a variety of salads - Crunchy Carrot Slaw, Greek Chickpea Salad and Curried Cauliflower. It's hard to say which dish was my favorite, because they were all wonderful! Em couldn't have been nicer as we were emailing back and forth, deciding on what to get. It was my first time coming here (...and most likely my last). Disappointing experience as someone who also works as a barista and recently moved to Bristol. The two staff that served me did the very least and had awkward mannerisms. Ordered a latte but didn't get asked how I wanted it made. I'm sad... I guess I should stick to baked goods here? I went today and ordered the Turkey with brie and bacon panini. My bacon was literally raw. I swear they must have put raw bacon on the sandwich and put it on the panini press and thought that would cook the bacon? Beehive Pantry is one of only two places in Warren I'd bother picking up a specialty coffee drink brewed with local RI roaster New Harvest beans. The pricing is reasonable for its high quality. Definitely a nice little stop for lunch, just don't expect table service b/c most people I see coming here pack up food to go or end up eating in their cars bc there aren't any tables inside. Yo girl is a snack. And because she's so scrumptious she needs sustenance. She needs calories to fuel this fancy. Homegirl has been to the beehive numerous times, but on a Saturday afternoon, she knows better. So Homegirl jumped in the blacked out 'cedez and burned some rubber. She arrived at the small storefront ready for some treatz. Yo girl has had a long day. She had been in the hot summers sun for hours. Put some jelly on Homegirl, because she is toast. How did Homegirl become so exhausted? You try treading water with 4 inch wedges and hoop earrings. Homegirl arrived and ordered a medley of pre-made cold sides. Chicken salad, Asian sesame noodles, and a corn pesto dish. Also a gluten free peanut butter cookie. The chicken salad needed something. It was bland, and if only it had cranberries, salt and pepper, homegirl would ring a different tune. The Asian noodles were good. The corn and grape tomato salad was fantastic. It had cubes of bread, crustier than the corners of homegirls eyes. And the gluten free cookie was good too. It was indulgently sweet. Maybe a tad too sweet. Homegirl can not afford a cavity, so she only nibbled the crumbs. Plus she has got to be wedding ready and can't over indulge! Homegirl is not looking for any suiters, however she does get proposed to quite regularly. Yo girl wants to look good for those hidden engagement shoots. I frequent the Beehive more than I should because I love it but lately I've been going to the Cafe downtown rather than the Pantry (which is much closer to my house) and that's for two reasons.. the first being that there is a very miserable, unfriendly older Woman who works there (not the short one with dark hair who is super friendly, she's awesome) oh man.. not good ! I've always been kind and polite and this lady is just flat out rude.. totally kills my vibe!! The other reason is because even if I pop in there for a minute my clothes REEK like a dirty oven! That place needs some ventilation BAD because the smell sticks to you all day. I hope they can work on these issues because they have the best coffee around, but these issues will keep me away forever read more

While I LOVE the Beehive and all that they offer, I was a little disappointed in my first visit to the Pantry on a recent Saturday. The line is still painfully long, if not longer than at the original Beehive Cafe. Also, by 11am they were sold out of all the breakfast pastries which was why I made the special trip in the first place. Hopefully, they can ramp up production and work on making the staff more efficient. There were 3 different people tending to my one order and it was just too many cooks in the kitchen so to speak. I'll be back for sure, but right now, it doesn't seem the Pantry solved the over capacity issues with their Cafe location, instead it's just another location to drive right by when you see the line out the door. read more
