Not only did she refuse to give me her name but she yelled at her employees for giving me her name. My family and I went to watch a movie. Towards the end a lady said she didint like that my son said hi ( 2 year old) I stepped outside so I wouldn't interrupt the movie. As I was walking around waiting for the last 20 min so the rest of my family to leave Gina came to me and started insulting me saying to get out . I tried to tell her that I stepped outside so I wouldn't interrupt the movie. She then went inside the theatre and told my family to get out. I went to Maya Cinemas for the first time to watch Sinners recently, and I had a five-star experience! I prepaid for my ticket online and signed up for their free rewards program, in which I was supposed to receive a free medium popcorn. Once I went to get the free popcorn, the friendly attendant said I had already used it, which was impossible because I had never been to Maya Cinemas before. The attendant honored the free popcorn, and the medium size is gargantuan! I am unsure if the employee blessed me with a courtesy large because I can't imagine a bigger popcorn bag. I tried and could not finish the popcorn I received. The seats inside the theatre were comfortable, and the sound system was good. I only watched the movie, but I noticed they had an arcade, photo booth, cantina, and many entertainment options in the main lobby. I would return! read more

I live in Green valley and come here to this theater with my Mom since she lives in North town and it's the closest theater to her, I actually prefer Maya Cinemas due to the lower concession prices, the cleanliness (workers attitudes could be better but, they're young and hopefully still learning) also, the check in counter needs to be better on knowing things when a question is asked like, "hello, can you let me know when the Wicked merchandise will be up for sale?" Workers answer: ummm, I'm not sure, I guess when the movie opens? "When is that again? Worker: not sure? Next month I think? Seriously? It's kinda your job to know these things right? The movie photo shows 11/21 Anywho, I will be back again to take my Mom to see Wicked and I can't wait!! A suggestion would be to add clear covers on the salsas and toppings and to make sure that station stays clean since it can get messy pretty quick read more

Went to see a movie last night and the theater we were in was a solid 55 degrees. We were freezing. Went to guest services and the very high kid behind the counter didn't understand that I was asking them to raise the temp up just a little. I'm pretty certain nobody ever did. The theater is comfortable, but rows D to the back are crazy far from the screen, so we changed our seats to row B. The hallway for the entrance of the theater, the light stayed fully on the entire movie which was very bothersome, and 10 minutes before the movie ended, the cleaning crew noisily fumbled their way into the hallway and proceeded to have a full conversation. Having to shush employees at the movies is wild. Do better Maya Cinemas. read more

This movie theater has a lot of potential, but there are a few issues that take away from the experience. The service tends to be very slow, and the fountain drinks were not working during my visits. There is also usually a long wait for food, so it's best to arrive with plenty of time before your movie. Additionally, the exterior of the building looks quite run down, which doesn't give the best first impression. With some improvements, this place could be much better. read more

Great theatre, I have been many times. The only problem I have is the fountains are sometimes run low on ice if it's a busy night, there are 4 different fountains so you can usually use a different one to fill when one runs low.. great for family's, dates, and just going solo. Overall: 3.4/5 We went to Maya Cinemas since I had a free movie ticket for my birthday. You have to go in person to redeem the ticket and can't book online beforehand so I suggest showing up half an hour earlier. They have a limited selection of movies and times with more showings being in Spanish than in English. Maya Cinemas has a huge parking lot to themselves so it was easy to find parking. The only issue was that some of the shrubs haven't been trimmed so they encroach on some parking spaces or the driveway. Upon entering, you can purchase movie tickets via the kiosks. However if you need to redeem the free movie ticket, you need to talk to the person working and provide them your phone number associated with your rewards account. Maya Cinemas has a few arcade games that you can check out before the movies. They also have a few concession lines with decent prices. We got a medium popcorn ($8) with extra butter but that was a mistake. The popcorn tasted old and the butter didn't really give it any flavor. Instead, the butter stained the bag and got all over our hands. We also got a large icee ($7) which was standard. The issue was that 1 machine was completely broken and for the other one, only half of it was working so we only had two choices - Coke or Cherry flavor. Their concession condiment stations were not well-maintained and messy. We watched Napoleon in MPX so the theater was a lot bigger than the standard one. They also had reclining seats and a tray table for your food and drink which was nice. The seats were a bit worn out with cracks in the leather but they were still comfortable for the long movie. We sat in the center of row E which was provided a pretty good view but row F would be just as good. Anything before row E would be too close for the huge screen. We watched Napoleon on Black Friday so the theater was pretty much empty. What was different about Maya Cinemas was that they don't play movie ads. The screen was off until 1 minute before the movie. They then turned on the Maya Cinema ads then dimmed the lights and started the movie. The sound and visuals were good but I don't think they're surround sound where you feel immersed like for Dolby Cinemas. read more

Really nice luxury theater, but it's definitely not located in the best neighborhood, so just be wary of that. It's a little far for us to come here for a movie, but we always have a great time when we do! Everything is great here, from the sound and picture quality to the reclining seats! I also really like the popcorn! It's oily and salty as is, even without the added "butter," which is self served. I recommend signing up for a rewards program because of all the perks you get! You'll receive a free medium popcorn just for signing up! Plus, a free birthday movie ticket and waived online ticketing fees when booking directly from their website. read more

I wasnt impressed with this theatre. No selection of alcohol whatsoever. All they served was cheap Stella Rosa wine and beer. They had one cocktail on the menu that I decided to try. When the bar tender started mixing up my drink with Stella Rosa wine I was done. The seats in the theatre were dirty. The floor was covered in trash. It was so uncomfortable for me to sit around with filth at my feet, I couldn't even really enjoy the movie. read more

My husband and I took the kiddos out to see a movie on Saturday. (Venom Las Dance, super cute, also recommend) and the facility was clean. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The only problem I ever have is the soda machines can be a little wonky at times. We went to get snacks and drinks and our cashier helped me go through almost every closed candy holder to see if there were any peanut M&Ms until we found them. The workers definitely go above and beyond. read more

As a former employee, This bar is nasty. I dont know how we passed our health inspection test with mold on the soda gun and half the stuff we sell is expired. Ice chest never cleaned out and expected to be left full with ice overnight even when tajin and other stuff fall in there during shift. I paid over $20 for the MPX experience, but it was a major letdown. The screen was large, but the image was blurry as if I was watching a 3D movie without glasses. Despite speakers lining the walls, the sound came only from the front, with weak bass and no surround effect. It felt worse than a regular showing. On top of that, a loud, disruptive family sat nearby, and even after complaints, staff did nothing. We paid for an MPX experience to receive quality worse than a standard showing with zero support from staff. read more

We were greeted by a very happy and excited employee named Desiree P. She quickly established a great rapport while we purchased our tickets. She shows us to the snack section where we were greeted by Kimberly P who was training Hector P. While Hector being shy at first overcame that feeling and really pepped his step up. Both provided the best customer experience in that short time which left me wowed. The place was super clean everywhere. Being from Chicago where theaters fight to be the best, this theater far surpassed them. I would give them 10 stars if I could. This seems to be our to go to theater but since we have moved it is fairly far. The seats for the most part are clean, only a few times that we have been to a movie in the DBox where around the seats had a lot of trash laying around. One time we had to evacuate the theater due to a person bringing a weapon. However we were given tickets to come back on another day. Customer service is normally really great even the managers are friendly. I like going Tuesday as for one prices of tickets are cheaper food is discounted a little Like for hot dogs I believe they are $2. The main reason is it's not as packed and I don't have to worry about people being immature and bringing weapons. I normally bring my family and it's not far that my children have to fear watching a movie in a public area because people don't think before they act. read more

Maya Cinemas in North Las Vegas Nope. We gave up on this theater. We've attended the Maya Theater in North Las Vegas since it first opened, dozens and dozens of times. It's very close to our house, a great convenience. Of course we signed up for the Rewards Club, as soon as they offered it. We're also big Galaxy Reward fans so we always claim our points at any theater which add up fast because we attend movies 3-4 times a month and buy concessions every time. The Maya Theater started out nice. It was a luxury theater with nice seating, but every single time points were added to our Rewards they never showed up. We'd spend extra wasted time at the customer service counter and they'd go thru the act of re-adding the points, but again, every time no points added. After a while, we just gave up on Rewards, but still attended the movies there. Then more issues occurred. We attended mostly early evening shows, just after the matinee prices ended. The concession would run out of basics like bottled water and more half the food menu, even hotdogs. Then the butter dispensers quit working, the concession extras counters were always dirty, soda in some flavors would run out, and bathroom floors were covered in tissues. Some of the theater seats were beginning to split and breakdown, and the theater was dirty all the time. Despite the location convenience, we just quit going. Now, we're sticking with the Cannery Galaxy theaters on Craig Road. We've never experienced a dirty theater or bathrooms there, most concession items are almost always available, and the manager has made many ticket adjustments for us and been exceedingly kind and fair. I bet the Maya Theater goes bankrupt soon because someone is treating it like a garbage place with no pride at all instead of a nice family outing location. I'd rather drive farther for a good quality luxury theater than a run down dirty palace! We won't be back. read more

I was a little nervous going here based on the reviews for the area, but it really isn't that bad. Don't let that deter you from going here! The parking lot is secluded from the main road, so your car will be safe. Anyways, went to see the new Super Mario Bros movie on opening day, so we ordered our tickets online just to make sure we could see it. BTW $7.50 convenience fee when you order online! YIKES! But we figured it was worth it since we had 5 people in our party. Each ticket was $6.50, we went at 10 AM on a Wednesday. Got to pick our seats and each seat has a power recliner and leather seats! It was such a nice theater. My kids loved it and so did my Dad! The movie was loud, clear picture, and it was overall a great time. We ordered the kids snack box and the senior box, each for $5! Great theater experience! We had a really good time here. Came in for the Bob Marley movie, One Love. Staff members are super chill and nice. Toni hooked us up at the bar, knew his drinks, was attentive, and went the extra mile to help me figure out what to order.  Ordered the taco plate, which was surprisingly delicious. Had the chicken and steak tacos - my fave was the steak. Rice beans and corn were YUM. I'd definitely order it again.  Management - I think his name is Chris - was so cool! He really went the extra mile to make certain we felt welcome and had a wonderful experience. Loved the creativity and themed drink around this movie.  I highly recommend this spot! read more

We waited 15 minutes for these 2 girls to finish cleaning the restroom. Too "CLEVER" for me. I'd love to share some advice for your cleaning routine. Shut down half of the bathroom to clean, mop and dry your floors rather than THE ENTIRE women's restroom. That was ridiculous and extremely inconsiderate. Where do I begin. They didn't have any of the food items we wanted. Pretzels and fries specifically which were literally displayed on their menu screens in front of us. Obviously need to update that. Another thing- they don't even have kids size cups unless we do the kids tray. We don't want the tray. My kids and I all can't have popcorn. Drink options- they didn't even have many non soda options. Not great. The food thing has happened 2 other times so this was a 3rd strike. I gave a chance because I went at different times- morning but then evening and this was mid day.. 10/10 do not recommend maya. Used to be my go to when they first opened we went all the time for movies we wanted to watch. Now it's not even a last resort option for us. On top of all this- the movie restarted. Just went to the Vegas Maya. I wanted to pay cash and was denied entry. These cinemas and many more are cashless. I don't want to set up an account and give my personal information to a company just to see a movie. This is ridiculous. This is also a form of discrimination and prejudice. In town visiting family and this theater is our go to while in town every year, have only experienced AMC theaters and Galaxy theaters. Watched Avatar a few days ago and enjoyed it here. Not much you can say about the reclining seat across other chains theaters. Only thing different is the food tray. Came back today and only wanted to buy a large popcorn and nachos to bring home to the kids for a family movie night knowing NYE will be crazy so opted to stay in but I was stopped at the door and told if I wanted to buy concessions that I would have to buy a movie ticket to just buy food. this totally ruined the whole experience for me. Today April 12 I went to the Mayan theater to celebrate my son birthday is my 2nd time on that theater but today we approached the food stand and elder lady was buying popcorn and she was telling the server how she likes her popcorn the server completely ignored her the lady repided again and same response then she bring the popcorn and rudely settled at the counter the lady told her that she needed to smile a bit she respond i do not like to smile the lady again told.her that she needs to learn how to work customer service and apologize to her but still her attitude didn't change my turn happen i order 4 large sodas and ask her for a carrier she say they are in the middle i walk to the middle it there wasn't any i return to her i told her there is nothing there she say then we don't have any if she knew that wasn't any why she make me go like and idiot to look for it she is a very rude person if she doesn't like to work with people she got the wrong job she is very short lady I dint see her name she looks Hispanic she has absolutely no sense of customer service.
