Haven't been here in years since I moved from this side of town. But I met my sister and her family here to watch Toy Story 5. It nice and decorated in the lobby/ concession area as they do for any big movie premiere. If you've never been they serve drinks, hot dogs, nachos, and alcohol beverages. Once inside theater wasn't clean, popcorn littered the stairs and once I was seated my chair didn't work. Movie was getting ready to start so I didn't bother to request to move. Once the movie was over I did inform staff who directed me over to the customer service desk where the manager was. Instead they of apologizing for the inconvenience... he asked why I didn't come report it because it's usually a quick fix with a breaker. I informed him the movie had just started and I didn't want to miss anything, his lack of understanding and compassion startled me as I was immediately thrown off. I spent over $60 in tickets, then another $50 on popcorn and concessions. I will not be returning, lesson learned! Customer service is priority, when and where I'm spending my money. read more

Came here once one month ago and the theater felt like the heat was on. There was no one inside when we got there so it couldn't have been body heat. Went again hoping it was just a one-off. We visited on 8-1-26 to watch the Spiderman Brand New Day movie. The ticket & snack bar lines moved fast. The staff was courteous. The bathroom was clean, but not the theater floors. The manager stated they sold 4,000 movie tickets on Saturday & 3,000 were brought for the Spiderman movie. We recommend the movie. read more

They recline all the way to almost a lying down position. They have tables for your snacks. The sound is the highest quality for a memorable movie experience. I have enjoyed coming to this theatre for many years. It's conveniently located near my home, and the reclining seats are very comfortable. I love the fact that there is never an obstructed view because of the way the rows are tiered. Whether seeing first-run movies, or enjoying their retro film series, my girlfriend and our kids enjoy the whole experience here every time. The sound is always just right, and it's easy to navigate. The only drawbacks I might have are the fact the cell reception seems to be very bad here, and the excessive prices on concessions. read more

Galaxy Theaters is located inside the Cannery Casino and features over 12+ theaters. The concessions always have hot fresh popcorn in different sizes for everyone. The seats are recliner chairs and super comfortable. Inside each of the theaters are kept very clean. They show all different kinds of movies and even bring back retro classics like the Wizard of Oz! Such a treat to see it on the big screen. Employees were very friendly and gave out flowers for all the moms on Mother's Day which was a nice touch. read more

Love coming to this movie theater. It's never freezing cold, but just the right temp. The seats are way more comfortable than Cinemark's and the screens are huge. They don't have IMAX but they have their own version of IMAX, which is just as good or better. The concessions are crazy expensive like everywhere else but the popcorn is good and they have flavored powders to sprinkle on top of your popcorn. read more

I've been here a few times, and the seats are pretty comfortable. My most recent visit, I sat in the very last row of theater 1, and the wall in front of the row was a little tall, so I had to sit really high up in my seat to see the bottom of the screen and the subtitles. Next time, I know not to sit in the last row! $12.75 matinee prices are pretty fair nowadays, so I think it's a good overall value and theater experience. read more

They're comfortable with life long loyal customer NOT returning. Worse customer service experience ever, what's worse is I feel scammed. Let me start by saying I live in Summerlin by Hualapai and Flamingo, There are several movie theatres within 5-10 minutes of my home, however I drive 27 minutes to Galaxy. My Lady and I went to see Sinner's. We had a lot to do that weekend, so we caught the early 12noon showing. We arrived around 11:40am and it wasn't busy with only 3 people ahead of us. There were two gentlemen behind the counter, one of them named Eli, so he says. These two guys were the slowest concession workers I've ever seen, to the point where we thought they were purposely being slow. By the time Eli called us to the counter, and us watching the other guy try to squeeze nacho cheese out of the bag on the cheese machine, it was 12:07. We ordered a large popcorn, two bags of candy and a large drink, which came to over $30. I remember I had a $15 concession gift card that they would not let me use the last couple of times we came in December, because it would not activate until 1/1/2025. He scanned the gift card and told me the gift card had expired. Here's where the scam come to play. I received the gift card because Galaxy had an offer if I purchase a $50 gift card I would get a $15 concession gift card. I ask Eli could I speak the manager(Yunuen), who Eli kept referring to me as "this guy". Yumuen, who I could tell cared less about my frustration with the situation, proceeded to tell me the gift card expired 3/31/2025. I told her the last time I came I was told it was inactive due to it being too early to use and 3 months later I'm being told it expired. I showed her the screen shot where there was no expiration date for the gift card, she told me the explanation was sent in an email. I politely told her if this cannot be resolved I would have to take my business elsewhere because at this point I've been scammed, she replies "Yeah, it expired" and shrugs her shoulders in a manner saying "oh well". I thanked her and paid for our food. My Lady asked Eli was there extra butter on the popcorn and he replied "Yeah, why? Do you want more or something?", in a condescending tone and demeanor. I ask for his name and managers name, he then goes to his manager(Yunuen) and says "This guy wants our names". The manger hands a customer their popcorn and tells Eli, "when I'm done with this customer I'll give it to him. I respond to her "but you're done with the customer, so can I have you name please". She says well it's difficult to spell... I respond "okay, spell it". Eli just shows us his name tag. At this point I'm no longer second guessing about never returning. We go to the ticket counter to scan my tickets, and ironically we're greeted by the most pleasant person in the world by the name of Arlee. Arlee caught the tail end of our situation and immediately showed empathy and connected with us. Galaxy should make Arlee manager, put Yunuen in concessions and part ways with Eli. I've been in Vegas over 20 years and have never been to another movie theatre other than the adults only lounge/theatre Eclipse, which is now closed. If I did go to another, it's because I was being treated and it wasn't my choice in the matter. This Galaxy could learn a lot from the Green Valley location. Unfortunately we have to come back one more time because I have points that are worth two movie tickets, after that we're done with all Galaxy theatres. read more

I thought it was weird, and then I noticed police drive by the passed my car not long after I got in, and they were heading to the theater. It seems they decided they didn't like what my girlfriend was wearing. I won't be going back to find out. I don't recommend this place. I had been here several times before. I've been going to this theater since I moved to the area in 2017 and every time I go the staff is incredibly friendly, the restrooms, theaters and lobby are absolutely spotless and whatever they're cooking in the kitchen smells SO GOOD you have to grab a snack. I cannot recommend Galaxy enough and I don't see that changing anytime soon. read more

Staff and theater are always friendly and willing to help. They put in the effort to make your movie going experience a great one. The folks there actually try to make you feel like they care that you're there at least that's the way they make me feel every time I have gone there and I'm a people watcher and I see the smile on other people's faces when they are there. What's not to like? Free parking. Reserved & reclined seating. Audio and Video in working order. Comfortable temperature. And gotta love the warning that anyone disrupting the movie will be 86'd. And how clean and stocked the restrooms were. There's even a reward program, however, I don't live in the Las Vegas area so it wouldn't do me much good. Anyway, adding that I appreciate how the theater has an entrance that doesn't require you to walk thru the casino (The Cannery). I don't care for smelling like cigarette smoke. Also, that because the theater is located on the Cannery property, you can take advantage of parking in their covered structure. Think Las Vegas with the sun and heat. No comment on the concessions. Didn't partake. I was saving room for lunch. Not much more I can add - the only thing missing that I'm used to, because I'm spoiled - is that there isn't wait service at your seat. I love when a place you spend so much money at has a way of compensating you for being a loyal customer! As you could guess $10 a tix, popcorn and soda $15 each time, an the occasional $6 box of candy for a family of 6 .... can make a mom turn stripper haha! I love their management team! There's been a few nights that have been really packed for a premier and customers may have gotten too tipsy (yes they serve alcohol for us lush customers) making the movie less enjoyable and they've comped my experience! Yes, great customer service rather pure robbery you get from most places! Thank you galaxy for saving me from these streets by making movie night much more affordable offering free tickets on my birthday, occasional $5 discounts, and the reclining chairs never hurt nobody! As far as movie theaters go Galaxy Cannery is at the top. Reserved reclining seats, very clean, big screens and great sound. My only complaint is there is no waiter service, and the hike to the theater can be very long, especially since I have mobility issues, that require the use of a cane.Trying to maneuver from the refreshments to the theater with a soft drink, popcorn and the cane was a daunting task. I will have to learn to go dry to the movies........Aside from that the theater complex is great and as I have been there the last two day's it's a good bet I'll be going back. read more
