    Festive decor

We did not have the meal plans Food is a big part of vacations and we ate a lot of table serve restaurants. We loved Maya's (Table Service) it's right on property connected to the convention center. We had dinner twice here. Once on arrival day and once on a park day. We just arrived and it was right before closing and we were tired and not that hungry. We had their queso chorizo fundido dip and their Poblano Caesar salad and both were really good. The Queso was so cheesy and strongly. I loved it with the tortillas they gave you to eat it with. They needed more tortillas to match the amount of dip that they had. We ended up eating the rest of the dip with a spoon. On our park day we added our name to the standby list as we walked over. We tried to do it in the room, but we were too far away. We were ready to eat around 7 and the only reservation was for 8:30pm. I took it to be safe, but when we walked up there we could see they weren't busy at all and we were seated right away. We weren't that hungry as we had lunch a big lunch at the Brown Derby so we split the Pescado de Cenote which was really good and I got the Caesar Salad again. It was so good, much better then the Cobb salad I had at the brown Derby. We ended the evening with Chocolate lava cake. We highly recommend Maya's. We loved the food and ambiance. They had a live guitar. player there playing background music. Being on site we charged the meal to our room and that was quick and easy. We used our room key to make the transaction. We were even allowed to put the tip on the card.

Awesome vibe and decor, good service, and live music! I got the beet salad and added grilled chicken- it was good but I was expecting more greens than the few sprigs I got. It was good, but I was a little disappointed. My mom got the fish tacos which was good - I wish they had some dairy-free options for those lactose-free folks - Disney is pretty good about that, so I'm surprised they didn't have that here.

I dined at Maya Grill during my recent stay at Coronado Springs. My son and I did not have reservations but we were able to be seated for dinner. Arturo was our server and he provided excellent service. Unlike most Mexican restaurants, chips and salsa are not complimentary here so we ended up getting the chips with salsa and queso for $12.00. The queso had zero flavor but the chips and salsa were okay. My son ordered the chicken fingers and fries kids meal which was a good portion but looked and tasted like it had been sitting under a warmer all day. The steak fajitas were decent and probably the best thing we ordered. While the service was excellent, the food itself was lacking and overpriced. I guess it's typical for resort restaurants to have subpar food at high prices.

First of of like to point it what I saw from another review, that when we asked about seating they told us about a 45 minute wait, so we went on the app and joined the walk up wait list which said it would 35 minutes and then went towards the quick service area and we figured if we got hungry, we would just get something there. 5 minutes later we get a text that our table was ready and had to start walking back to the restaurant and then were taken to our table and the restaurant was half empty so they had plenty of seats and there was no need for the theatrics of the wait, they just do it to seem like it's somewhere people want to go and eat so you make a reservation in the future. The atmosphere is nice and very will decorated and they had someone playing live music on a guitar. Our server was also very polite and she even remembered to bring my drink without over where most places forget that. She even noticed I needed a refill before I asked and they even have the better quality recyclable draws rather than the paper ones Disney had everywhere that you end up eating with your drink. My wife even liked trying the flight of margarita she ordered (although she only really finished one of them) Unfortunately that's where the good stuff to mention about the restaurant stop. I always tend to watch if they will bring you water when you sit down as that is generally a sign of a good restaurant. Here they did not. The food was meh, nothing I'd recommend to anyone. Nothing bad, just not worth it, especially since they are quite pricey. From the appetizers all the way to the dessert, nothing worth ordering again. I think the quick service had better quality food and is a cheaper option. I'd probably do that unless you really want the sit down experience. Not a place to go back to.

Mexican restaurant located within the Disney Coronado Resort. Very large restaurant so feels a bit like a convention venue. Despite checking in while the restaurant was very slow and had plenty of availability (we waited 1-2 min), they required us to give our name, email, phone number. Felt like we were getting signed up for endless spam. Hostesses (2 of them) were some of the most unfriendly people I've encountered when dining. They could benefit from some customer centric training. Regardless, got to the table & our waitress was lovely, attentive, knowledgeable. Chips & salsa are not free - no big deal - we purchased them. Salsa was very smooth and smoky. I enjoyed it. Regular margarita is not very good - pay the extra $$ for the upgraded version. Skip the guacamole. It's the tiniest portion ever and they really ruin it with all the toppings. You can c in the pic someone's arm in the background to help understand the size. It was maybe a salad plate size and the guac was maybe 1/2" high and formed in a circle a couple inches off the edge (nothing in the middle so it's less guac than you think). It wasn't even very good. The winner of the meal, however, was the chicken & steak fajitas. Very tasty, decent quantity and enjoyed those. If you're stuck in the hotel or don't want to venture out, give it a try. If you want your money to go toward a really good meal, this isn't it.

We always feel like this place is underrated and this last visit was no exception. We did not have a reservation but were seated immediately. We ordered cocktails which are always fantastic, my personal favorite is the Prickly Pear margarita. We also tried the Guacamole, as well as the queso, so fresh and tasty. The pork is the star of the show and is something we order on every visit

    Mole short rib $40
    Julie L.

Due to poor planning and a 40 min bus ride from MK, I arrived at 7:20pm on a Tuesday hoping to get bar seating. The hostess said there was no availability and it would be a 50 min wait. I noticed a sign to order to go & I happened to be staying at Coronado. She called the manager who had to approve the order and then took the sign away after we stepped aside. My guess is they were too busy for to go orders as well. $40 braised short rib over chipotle sweet potato mash, Brussel sprouts & a mole demi glaze was what my friend and I both ordered. When the food came I thought it was just one because the bag did not look over full in weight. It was in fact 2 dishes worth. After I cut off 3 tablespoons of fat, the actual shirt rib was delicious and tender. I hd forgotten about the mole demi glaze which grazed the less than al dente brussels. The potato mash couldn't have been more than a few teaspoons as well. Manager was nice & accommodating, hostess seemed... stressed, food was good but definitely not worth the money. IMO this was a miss.

The few times I have been here, I have really enjoyed our meal. I really liked the fish tacos, and highly recommend the queso to start. I am not a huge margarita fan, but the mood struck me, so I tried one, and it was delicious. The staff here is all very friendly and it honestly has a nice ambiance. Lots of windows that look out onto the resort, and a couple of times that I was there, they had great live music! It is easy to get a reservation through the Disney app, even the day of. Not sure about walking in. But each time we had a reservation, we were seated very quickly.

That marg flight! And Enchilada with plantain
    Azsure D.

I am glad Coronado has a table service option- this property is so large you need a place to eat. And of course the legendary Disney service! They have a wonderful adult drink selection. I had the marg flight and it was good. The meal quality was not my favorite. I was starving so I ate it all quickly after a day of conferences at the convention hall. They do have a plant based plate on the menu. So overall a good choice when you need it. The price is challenging but you balance the convenience and amazing service.

We've lived here for nine years and turns out we've been sleeping on Maya Grill in all that time. We finally decided to come and we will absolutely be back. Wow! We were blown away by the flavors here. We started with the chicken tinga flautas. They are served under a pile of toppings including lettuce, cheese, corn, pico de gallo & chipotle sauce. They were crispy and flavorful. Portion size was a little small but they were so good. We decided to order the Maya Grill Parrillada to share for two of us. The quantity of food easily could have served three. It comes with steak, chicken, shrimp, corn, rice, peppers & onions, tortillas, cheese, pjco, sour cream, and the shrimp are covered in a chimichurri sauce. The corn has a chipotle sauce (the same one with the flautas), that I asked for more of because it had such delicious spicy sweet flavor. This dish reminded me of fajitas in that you used tortillas to contain all the ingredients into one bite. All the proteins were perfectly cooked and I was obsessed with the corn & how much flavor it had. We had so much food I got to take leftovers home. For dessert we got the churro spirals. Also so tasty, the churros were perfectly cooked with crispy outside and soft inside, a yummy caramel sauce and some strawberries. We were absolutely stuffed after this. The vibes are immaculate. It's more on the chill side for Disney and they was a guitarist playing instrumental covers of Disney songs.

    Fish Tacos
    Frank W.

I ordered the fish tacos with the seasoned fries. The fries were tough and required more chewing than I am accustomed to. The flavor was okay but not exquisite. I only ate three of the six fries. In contrast, the fish tacos were very good with just the right blend of spice and sauce. The cabbage was crisp and the fish was flavorful. The ambiance of the restaurant was enchanting with engaging acoustic music and Mayan themed wall decor. My server was polite and checked to make sure I was enjoying my meal. I told her I enjoyed the tacos.

Marcello! (I hope I'm spelling this right).
    Dani J.

We did enjoy our evening here, but we were one of two tables in the entire place and it took about an hour to get our food. And it was expensive as we come to expect in Walt Disney World, but the food was great and I loved the guitar guitarist, Marcello. That was a highlight for me.

When sitting at the bar you have the option to order a la carte instead of the prix fix meal. We opted for the carpaccio and lobster bao buns. They were so good that we ordered another one of each. The carpaccio was well prepared with a great balance of flavor with the few toppings. The bao is lightly toasted on the outside and it was almost like a lobster salad. The warm toasted bao and lobster was like a unique lobster roll. SO GOOD! Inside is like you are in outspace and you are at Disney so you know the theming is completely on point. Super clean and very unique environment. If you can get into sit at the bar - totally worth it!

Cool concept, but overall it was just so-so for me…read more I really liked the presentation and the idea behind the experience. The space elevator ride is a fun way to start, and I was looking forward to the whole "dining in space" atmosphere. Unfortunately, once we arrived "in space," one of the first things I noticed after getting off the elevator was a set of emergency exit double doors with a huge gap down the middle where you could clearly see the trees outside. That immediately broke the illusion and honestly took quite a bit away from the experience. The food was just okay. I ordered the burger medium, and the patty itself was cooked pretty well and was decent overall. The roll was actually pretty good too, but strangely, the bun was cold to the touch, which made the meal feel a little less polished than you'd expect at this price point. On the positive side, the service was excellent. Our server was attentive, friendly, and did a great job throughout the meal. Ultimately, though, as you can see from the check, this is a lot of money for what you actually get. I understand that you're paying a premium for the experience and atmosphere, but when some of that atmosphere is broken by something as simple as being able to see outside through the emergency doors, and the food itself is only average, it becomes difficult to justify the price. I'm glad I tried it once, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to do it again.

Old Key West Resort Restaurant -- Florida Vibes, Flavorless Food…read more This place really looks like Florida. The resort is called Old Key West, and you feel it the moment you walk in. Gorgeous setting. Now if only the food matched the atmosphere. --The Prime Rib-- The slow-cooked prime rib was flavorless and arrived lukewarm. The au jus wasn't much help either. Think beef broth with no seasoning and you're basically there. This looked, felt, and tasted dead. Not what you expect from a prime rib centerpiece. --The Chicken-- The Southernmost Buttermilk Chicken was OK--/emphasis on OK. But like the prime rib, the seasoning was an afterthought. Pass the salt and pepper if you want any flavor out of either dish. --The Dessert-- I took the server's recommendation and went with the Pineapple Mango Upside-Down Cake. Why did I listen? The presentation is beautiful. The taste did not keep up. Lesson learned. --The Drinks-- The Turtle Krawl was the bright spot of the meal. Think rum punch on a warm afternoon and you've got the right idea. It's a great treat...just don't expect it to rescue the food. --The Verdict-- Olivia's Cafe has the setting and the atmosphere locked in. The kitchen has some catching up to do. If you visit, plant yourself at the bar, order the Turtle Krawl, and temper your expectations before the entrée arrives.

Located in the main building of Disney's Old Key West Resort. As one might expect, it's very nautical themed. 2. We arrived before 9:00am, and thankfully the restaurant wasn't very crowded and we were seated immediately. Thanks to the lovely cast member that sat us in a both at the end. However, there were noticeably more people dining when we left. 3. We dined at Olivia's Cafe in November 2025 (yes, this review is a bit late), as we were guests of Old Key West. Our server introduced herself and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. In the end, I chose the sombrero omelet, while my partner chose the Buttermilk Chicken with an add-on Mickey waffle. Our very own coffee carafe completed our meal. We liked the food honestly. There's no better way to express it. The portions were decent, and the food was delivered in a timely manner. Also, I thought the option of the adding the Mickey waffle was just magical. SERVICE Our server, Cara, provided outstanding customer service. We appreciated her patience, knowledge and expertise regarding the menu, as well as checking on us periodically throughout the meal. Well done, Cara! side NOTE Cara did explain to us that their breakfast potatoes were on the cheesier side of the dairy spectrum, and that it was not to the liking of some former customers/diners. And to be honest, the potatoes are mixed/tossed in cheese, but it wasn't like they were drenched IMHO. BOTTOM LINE A wonderful breakfast at Olivia's Cafe. Its a great breakfast option for guests at Old Key West. Recommended.

I followed the hostess through the spacious restaurant until he placed me at a small booth table. My server was very pleasant. She approached the table, warmly greeted me, and asked if I would like some orange juice, which I gladly accepted. At the same time, I placed an order for their apple cinnamon french toast. Wow, I was impressed with the presentation. Three thick slices of bread nicely browned with cinnamon-spiced apple filling and dusted with powdered sugar. This dish didn't need any syrup. The flavors from the apples was just enough and it was so ooey-gooey good. The meal was thoroughly enjoyed and I received satisfactory service. I am definitely looking forward to my next visit.

We tried to come here on a Saturday around 10am and there was a line so we returned Sunday at 7:30am. No line, but we had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated. They may have been waiting on more staff since half the restaurant was empty. Our food was fine but on par with Denny's or Perkins. My potatoes were slightly undercooked and warm at best. Worst part: we came here to use a gift card since we're moving out of the country in three days. Sorry, our machine isn't taking gift cards at this time so just use it next time. We told the manager it only had $10 and she said there was nothing she could do. I found a local couple on our way out and gave it to them. It is considered a snack stand so their menu is very small. Their menu includes mostly drinks, including soda, water, beer and a cocktail. Their sweet options include Dole Whip, ice cream and churros. What we come here for is one of our favorite snacks in Animal Kingdom. The buffalo chicken chips: house-made chips served with buffalo chicken and blue cheese dressing which is then topped with tomato and celery relish. The portion size is large for a snack and is $10.49. I guess it could be considered a meal like lunch since it has a lot of chicken. My wife and I always share this, it is very good, the chips are crunchy and always fresh. The chicken is usually cool, not hot, but it is still very good. You can tell it is cooked chicken that has been cooled and sort of reheated, which I am usually not a fan of, but this one is actually really good. The buffalo sauce is not spicy at all, there is a small buffalo kick, but it's very mild. The blue cheese dressing is also very creamy, there are not chunks of blue cheese, however, this would definitely take this dish over the top! This stand is themed to Dinoland, so my hope is that when Dinoland gets refurbished, this stand will remain with these buffalo chips and just change the name or design.
