Stopped here because they offer plant based steak tacos. The place was crowded but our server still did a decent job taking care of our table. The complimentary chips and salsa were just okay, but the cheese empanada and tacos were pretty good. There were dancers during dinner which was fine for the kids in the restaurant. The vibe was neither bad nor good. Overall, it was a fine place with yummy food.

Good menu, decent service for a hopping place, tables a smidge crowded though...as we felt like we were seated in a major thoroughfare it was hard to enjoy our food as much with people constantly brushing past. Massive portion sizes for the free chips and salsa, which were both tasty. Portion and flavor on the steak street taco plate great, and while the taste was really good on the chicken enchiladas too, the portion size was quite small there. Overall a good meal.

Minors at the bar? That wouldn't happen in California.

Fiesta or Frenzy? A Colorful Night with Mixed Notes We stopped in at Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food for dinner during an evening at Universal CityWalk and chose to sit at the bar rather than wait about 35 minutes for a table. Since it was just the two of us, that worked out well and we were seated quickly. One thing that caught me off guard, though, was seeing a young child--probably around 10--also seated at the bar. The restaurant definitely knows how to make an impression. The bright colors, festive décor, and live music create a lively, high-energy atmosphere that draws you in. That said, after a full day at Universal Orlando, it felt like a bit much. Between the neon lighting, packed crowd, and loud music, it quickly became overwhelming. The live guitarist added to the vibe, but the songs felt unusually long or repetitive at times. I appreciated the creativity of the space, from the different dining areas to the varied lighting styles--it really celebrates Mexican culture--but it leans more toward a "Friday night party" feel than a relaxed dinner spot. And the wall of decorated baby dolls near the restroom? Definitely memorable... just not in a way I fully understood. Service was a highlight. Our server, Abby, was friendly, attentive, and consistently checked in without being overbearing. She made sure we always had what we needed. The food, unfortunately, was hit or miss. We started with chips and guacamole, which sounded promising with the tableside preparation, but the flavor fell flat--missing salt, lime, and any real kick despite choosing medium spice. Some of the chips were stale or oddly chewy, which didn't help. The drinks--a margarita and michelada--were solid but nothing standout. My husband's steak quesadilla was good, about what you'd expect, while my tortilla soup was underwhelming. The broth lacked depth, and the abundance of tortilla strips quickly soaked up what little liquid there was. If there were additional ingredients like chicken or vegetables, they weren't noticeable. The avocado on it hit the spot! Overall, it was a fun place to experience once, but not somewhere that left a lasting impression. If we find ourselves back in Orlando, we'd probably explore other dining options before returning.

We made a reservation and were sat right away. The street corn dip was SO good. It had chunky pieces of corn cut straight off the cob. The chimichanga was ok. It was very crispy and taste good but not the best. My husband and I shared a plate. It was a huge serving

We were at Universal Florida and were craving Mexican food. We Yelped and found Antojitos and thought it might be a tourist level average restaurant. So we decided to give it a try and it was absolutely delicious! We had the taquitos best we have ever had also had the chicken burrito, tacos and enchiladas were as good as any top Mexican restaurant in Southern California where we live! This is a great restaurant during your travels to Orlando Universal. The cocktails were made perfectly as well!

I enjoyed this Mexican restaurant in Orlando a lot. My son had the birria tacos and I had the fajitas. The service was very good. They tended to us very well. That day they had live music playing so that was nice to experience. My mocktail was not too sweet, and just right...refreshing.

Small sign on the outside of the restaurant.

My husband and I ate here tonight and everyone who helped us in letting us know or table was ready, to the server of our meal and manager stopping by to see that we had everything we needed. The food was excellent and came to our table in a very presentable way, even our drinks were nicely presented too. We loved the cauldron like bowls that the salsa and chips were in prior to our meal. There was a guitarist who played some tunes that were very enjoyable to listen to. The atmosphere was large and had many things to view from the ceilings or the walls depending on where you were seated. We had a great time and will come again to try something else.

Decent theme park food. Some of the better queso fundito in the area. Chips were warm, and food priced as you would think.. way more than local spots. Great atmosphere

Great food and great service! Mike is the best bartender in the place! He is great at making our drinks just the way we like them! Love when they have a mariachi band playing. Nachos are delicious and a great late night snack!

We have tried to visit Antojitos several times when visiting Universal Orlando. Each time we chose to go elsewhere because of the extensive wait times. On our last visit, I made a reservation on the Universal app. Our family loves Mexican food and we were excited to give it a try. I was disappointed that even with a reservation and a small party of only 3, we had to sit outside...and it was hot. We did not get to experience the interior other than the check-in station where we were greeted by 2 hosts who both were less than friendly. Our server seemed flustered and needed multiple reminders to refill our water glasses (again it was HOT). She took our order, disappeared, then our food arrived in shifts by different people. It was bizarre. The quality of the food wasn't great. Each of us had different entrees because we like to share and taste as much as we can. We agreed that nothing had flavor except the al pastor taco...where the only flavor was the pineapple. We did enjoy the bottled Mexican Coca Colas. There are so many great places to eat in Citywalk...we won't be going back to Antojitos. If we want low-quality "Mexican" food, we'll go to Taco Bell for less money and more flavor.

We tried the birria tacos, chile relleno, and guacamole. The guac was absolutely delicious, and while the birria could have used a bit more flavor, the meat itself was tender and tasty. Sitting at the bar with Armanie and Nadia made the experience even better--they were both so friendly and easy to talk to. Overall, a great spot worth checking out!

Came here for dinner! The staff were amazing! The food was so freaking delicious. The queso, and salsa was some of the best I've ever had. The steak fajitas were so dang good. The meat melted in your mouth, so full of flavor. The layout, and design of this pace is pretty cool. It's huge inside. They also have a stage. I'm wondering if they have live music some night. Anyhow, check them out if you're looking for some great Mexican food.

The food here? Honestly great! flavorful, well done, no complaints. If this review were based on food alone, easy 5 stars. But the experience? That's where things went off the rails. After waiting about 10 minutes just to reach the hostess stand, I finally got to the front only for a man dressed like a highlighter cosplaying a midlife crisis (yes, a blindingly yellow Despicable Me t-shirt) to slither in and cut the entire line like a villain in a low-budget cartoon. I called it out loudly, because subtlety felt inappropriate for the level of audacity on display, but the hostess, Ameera, just... let it happen. No hesitation, no correction, just a quiet green light for chaos. It was like watching someone hold the door open for bad behavior and wave it inside. And this man, this absolute agent of disorder, looked exactly how he acted. Bald spot shining under the lights like a warning beacon, one eye wandering off on its own journey, chewing like he was trying to win a competitive crunching championship. If "bad vibes" had a physical form, it would be him in that shirt. Naturally, we then got seated directly across from him. Of course. Because why wouldn't the universe double down? So instead of enjoying my meal, I got dinner and a show: front-row seats to him loudly devouring chips and tacos like a human garbage disposal, while his equally delightful entourage, who I can only describe as his loyal little minions-in-training, sat there enabling the whole spectacle. And to top it all off? This man had the nerve to order the cheapest items on the menu for his table, like some kind of bargain-bin supervillain. Cutting lines with premium confidence, but ordering like he left his wallet at home. So yeah: Food: great. Service: questionable at best, especially when it comes to basic fairness. Atmosphere: heavily dependent on whether you're seated near a budget-conscious supervillain and his minion squad. I'd come back for the food. But next time, i'm asking to be seated in the no minions area.

    Do they still do Mariachis?

We were there in the last week and today is January 3, 2023. I don’t remember them having mariachis walk around the restaurant but they still have a good stage performance.

Is there a way to reach this restaurant? No one ever picks up at this restaurant. They charged me for something they didn't give me and need to speak to the restaurant manager. Thank you

I would never recommend calling this place. It is always busy. I went in person and waited in line. The phone is constantly ringing but since they are busy it is hard to answer.

    What's the dress code?

Casual, but it's also part of the night life there so dressing up is accepted. You wouldn't feel out of place in either.

What is the limited menu that is being served at this time? Can I get a picture of it?

    When is your happy hour?

Usually like after dinner, but it depends I how I feel.

Do they have a kids menu?

Yes, there is a kids menu.

We don't want to visit Universal Studios but we want to eat here and it was difficult to find parking so we gave up and went home. Where is the best place to park if you only want to eat here?

You have several options. You can pay for parking in the garage which is like 20 bucks if you go anytime before 6pm. After 6pm parking is free. You can also go to the movies which is in the same walking area, if you buy 2 movie tickets, they will… Read more

We didn't have a reservation and the wait time was over 40 minutes but we were able to find a couple seats at the bar. We came in for a couple drinks and some appetizers. The shrimp was delicious, the queso was to die for and the drinks were made to perfection. My husband loves their beer collection. I enjoy their expresso martinis. Honestly all the drinks I've had here have been great, that's just my go to at the moment. They were playing the game so we ordered a couple more drinks and sat at the bar for a bit. Great energy from everyone, including the staff. Loud but not super loud where we couldn't hold a conversation. Yard house has not let us down. One of the best chain restaurants we've been to and frequent

I would suggest going on the website and reserving your spot ahead of time. It lets you enter the…read morenumber of people in your party and gives you an estimated wait time, which I found to be pretty accurate. It sends you text updates, and the technology is actually pretty cool. It can tell when you're not close enough yet and will tell you to check in once you're closer to the restaurant. There were 6 of us in the group, so reserving ahead definitely helped. I actually had to do it twice because we reserved our spot before we left, and by the time we got there, it had timed out. I checked in again, and when we arrived, the host said, "I see you checked in twice." He told us the wait would probably be about 10 minutes, and we ended up waiting less than that before being seated. Considering it's at Icon Park and it was the night of a game, the place was packed with a lot of hustle and bustle. I was impressed that we were seated so quickly, especially with a party of 6. Our waiter, Matt, was amazing, and the food was amazing too. We ordered what felt like almost every appetizer on the menu. We had the Cali Roll Stack, Parmesan truffle fries, crispy Brussels sprouts, spinach dip, and the vegan Gardein wings. The Cali Roll Stack was probably my favorite appetizer. It was so good, and it was made with real crab. Most places use imitation crab, and Matt even told us that's why it's his favorite appetizer too. He was absolutely right. The Gardein wings were surprisingly good. We ordered the Korean chili garlic and Buffalo flavors, and if nobody had told me they were vegan, I probably wouldn't have known. I'd never had a soy-based wing before, but I would definitely order them again. The Parmesan truffle fries were exactly what you want them to be, and the crispy Brussels sprouts disappeared fast. At that point, it seemed like everyone else was tapped out, but somehow we still had room to eat. We ordered the lobster garlic noodles, and they were amazing. They didn't skimp on the lobster either. There were big chunks of real lobster throughout the dish, along with spinach and garlic noodles. Definitely one of my favorite entrées of the night. I also tried the Key Lime Cider, and I liked that they let me sample it before ordering. It ended up being really refreshing and exactly what I was looking for. For dessert, we shared the brownie cookie topped with ice cream. Oh my God. I don't even like chocolate like that, and it was amazing. Yard House has never really disappointed me, but this visit was especially good. I don't know if we were just starving or if the chef was having an exceptional night, but kudos and hats off to the kitchen. Parking was easy too. Levels 3 and 4 of the garage were free, so there was no need to pay or get anything validated. Overall, everything was smooth from start to finish. Great service, great food, easy parking, and a surprisingly short wait despite how busy it was. 10/10, highly recommend.
