It was quite good and filling. The pineapple was a nice little bit of acidic sweetness. It want much but I did leave some for my oooy-gooy cheese filled chicken quesadilla the flavors were fresh and opened up a bit of my taste buds. The service was great even though it was just one server hopping between three different resort dining options.

Not only did we have amazing food, but we had the joy to have Peter (the chef) to talk with us while we ate. He was very knowledgeable about food. I encourage to sit with Peter if you want a good time or just some company! Peter knows Orlando and can help with great recommendations! He genuinely loves his job and will talk to you about anything, but will especially talk about rock n roll and cooking!

Pork Carnitas (isn't that redundant) Huarache - JUST okay to me. Looks like it's exploding w/ flavor but not

I was a little thrown back that this place was not really a restaurant but just a single bar in a hotel. From Yelp!, it was hard to pick that up. I almost left when I figured that out, but I was limited with time, so I stayed. The counter/bar was located right next to the hotel lobby, and there was no privacy. I felt like I was exposed to the entire lobby. Food wise, the place was just alright for me. I tried the pork huarache, which was portioned just right. However, it was just bland to me. I also tried the margaritas; they were pretty good, but way too much ice! The best part of the whole experience was the excellent service--great all around at this place!

Peter was working and made recommendations based on my wanting a light late night bite. Great guy, whose love of food rrally shines through. Lindsey was my waitress and welcomed me and made me feel very comfortable. The margarita was wonderful. The tropical ceviche was light and tasty, but decided on the margarita shrimp. The margarita shrimp was a perfect choice, not too heavy and great delicate flavors. Peter plated it with such a delicate hand making the plate beautiful to look at and anticipate. I would come in again.

Steak tacos, which were recommended were really great. Staff was very friendly and even gave me some salsa to taste. I would definitely go back.

This is a bar round as they state but you can sit anywhere and order from a waitress for any of the local restarants there in the circle but sitting at the bar front you get the action of the chefs. I enjoyed their chips and salsa and some fish nuggets. I order while at the bar one night and from a table across the way another night. I enjoyed it tremendously.

Diamond in the rough alert!! For me, hotel food has always been a bit hit or miss and in the generic.dot.stripmall that Orlando is, this place is beyond a hit. Chef Luna is both an artist and a magician. He's also an award-winning sous chef. The pork tacos, bbq ribs and his signature dish are just delightful explosions of colors, flavors and textures, all perfectly balanced. Your order is prepared right at the bar and the chefs are friendly and informative. Don't order from the menu, just talk to them and get their recommendations. Hopefully, you will be as delighted as I was. They also have several dozen different types of tequila in stock, and I suggest ordering one of the flights to finish off a meal.

Mediocre at best. No seasoning, no salt, and users yellow can cheese. The food tastes like it was cooked 2 days ago and warmed up.

I loved the covered outdoor seating and interior decor with the waterscape feature . Service was phenomenal!!! We sat inside and enjoyed a the chips and queso and salsa before we our entrees arrived. I approach the hostess asking what happened and she did not speak to me, she instead signaled me to follow her repeatedly saying ok ok ok. As she went to my table and began to remove the menu. I then asked again in spanish this time and she said "I am moving you". I asked why and she kept talking into her earpiece telling some one I was pissed off when I was not, I was confused. The Server came out and arrived at the table and the Hostess left. Server then told us there was a miscommunication, however I still did not get an answer. The food came out quick since we had plenty of time to view the menu. The female Manager made her rounds and had no idea what had happened. She then came to our table, did not even introduced herself and offered us a dessert while we were still eating dinner for what happened. She barely spoke and seemed clueless to what was happening and yet, still no explanation! We get boxes for our food and I pay the bill, I gave the server a really good tip because it was not her fault and we left full of food and disappointment. Note to Owner: Communication goes a long way, educate your staff and make sure they treat everyone with the same respect by being hospitable and bilingual. If I was given a reason, this review would have been amazing! Service : Terrible service, not friendly or inviting, there is a language barrier, and management has no idea about customer service which is my guess why the place was empty! Food: Amazing as always and it is a shame because I really love(d) this place and gladly spent $200+ every time I dine here. Ambiance: Clean, trendy, and inviting. Sorry Agave Azul, you used to be my favorite spot to dine but that honor will now go to Agave Bandidos.

I've now been three times and they're always busy and better for take out if you live nearby because sometimes waiting for the tables to turn can take a bit because they're so popular and it's such a small dining area (6 booths). Unfortunately, as much as I love the food there and the ambience, especially on Cinco de Mayo, I was starving! I remembered around the corner there was a restaurant that had been recommended in the past, but I never got the chance to check out. Being that I was in the area, I figured let's give this spot a try. Lo and behold, El Pueblo was only six minutes down the road! There was a 20 minute wait, but I was greeted kindly by the staff, and when I walked in you could tell this place was super authentic. The decor was super vibrant and music was bumping. They do not have alcohol, but they have coronas and a margarita type glass premixed for purchase. That held us over for the time being. The chips and salsa were phenomenal. The salsa had some type of sweet pepper flavor to it and you could tell it was homemade. My friend got three tacos with rice and beans and I got the flautas you were able to choose your own meat, which was really cool no extra charge. Sometimes back up plans can end up being the best finds. Definitely will be back!!!!

The restaurant itself is very nice inside clean, well designed, and has a welcoming atmosphere. There's also a parking garage nearby, which makes it convenient. When we arrived, it wasn't too busy, and it took our server about 4 minutes to greet us. Once she did, she was incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially since I have a shellfish allergy. That definitely stood out and made me feel comfortable dining there. They start you off with complimentary chips and dips, which were amazing and a great way to kick off the meal. For my main, I ordered the chipotle queso enchiladas along with the Perfect Paloma. The drink lived up to its name it was refreshing, flavorful, and honestly one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the supreme nachos, which were good overall, but the beans were a bit overpowering compared to the other toppings. As the restaurant started to get busier, things did slow down a bit, and the food took longer than expected because they were backed up. That said, our server continued to check in on us and kept a great attitude the entire time. When the enchiladas finally came out, they did not disappoint. The chipotle queso enchiladas were absolutely delicious full of flavor and definitely something I'd order again. The only downside was the rice, which was a little hard and not as enjoyable as the rest of the plate. Overall, Uncle Julio's offers a great dining experience with excellent service, a clean environment, and some really standout menu items. A few small issues with timing and sides, but nothing that ruined the experience. Rating: 4/5

We went in during Happy Hour expecting to sip a drink while we waited for food. Despite advertising Half Off Cocktails, when the server finally arrived we were informed that it only applied to about six margaritas on their menu, not 'cocktails' as advertised. We didn't complain to the server, as we assumed it wasn't his policy. Disappointing and misleading. We did end up ordering a variety of margaritas, which were disappointing to our crew for various reasons. Mine was acceptable but not exciting, though. I got the swirl with sangria. We checked in online and got the free 'guac'. I wish I'd snapped a photo, as it arrived without an attempt at presentation, just two scoops of mushed avocado on a plate. It needed more seasoning, which was unfortunate because there was no salt at our high top table. Nachos were decent, but soggy. I asked for extra jalapenos, which I did receive and they gave my plate more flavor. Service was fine. I felt bad that our server was both tending bar and taking orders as happy hour seemed to be a busier time for him. Overall, my experience was ho hum but my table partners were disappointed in the food, drinks, and experience. Hopefully yours is better than ours!
