Tacos are just ok here, Ive only tried two, the pulled pork and chicken so i cant say for the rest of the menu but it seemed like the fish taco might have been the way to go. It was refreshing I just wish it was more creamy with a stronger cinnamon hit. Make sure to grab some sauces before you dig in. The elote is a must you get a whole corn on the cob that's fully coated. For the the 2 taco lunch special. You get these 2 big tacos, rice & beans, and a drink . The chicken was juicy and shredded nice. These aren't little tacos. They fill their tacos all the way. Plus this meal has everything you need. I got the steak Cali burrito. They put everything in here. Steak, fries, guac, beans, you name it. That steak was savory & juicy. The birria quesadilla was massive. With hella cheese and birria meat. With consomé on the side. Great place for a casual burrito! I was worried because of the reviews but I ended up going and was very happy with my steak burrito bowl and my party had a naked burrito which she said the burrito was a good quality burrito much better than others in the area + chipotle. My meat was definitely really nice and juicy and tender which is all I care about mainly along with the basic flavors of a burrito. The salsa is great but I'm going to knock a star off because they charge after 3 each for two people which is BLASPHEMY. They only have three sauces so make your bet- I would recommend the green sauce for sure and they have a dark brown sauce which is Smokey sweet and the red is just a normal Tabasco hot sauce. They don't explain any of these to you so here is my explanation. Seating outside was busy so I would recommend checking out the patio in the back if you feel like there's no more seating. This is our go-to Mexican spot for its fresh food and very quick delivery. We order through their app / website and it's also so fast! We always get our food within 30 min, but most of the time we can expect it in 20. I really enjoy the super nachos and the vegetarian burrito options. The nachos come partially deconstructed if you order delivery, so be aware guac, sour cream and salsa come on the side. One of the few food places in the area open late on weeknights (past 11!). Definitely recommend sitting inside since they have a big selection of housemade hot sauces (and pickled peppers). I got three tacos - the fried prawn, shredded chicken with costeño sauce, and the asada steak. The prawn was my favorite (served in a hard shell taco with sauce on top), but it was also scalding hot out of the fryer, and one bite ended up with hot oil all over my hand. No bueno. The chicken and steak were fine. Pretty big portions and adequately filling for the price and time of night. Not as good as a Varrio 408, but way closer to where I usually am.
