The studio is always clean and well-decorated to fit her vintage gatsby vibe. I've been on a hunt for a place and a threader to replace my go-to girl. So when my girlfriend, Kristal called me and told me "hey I'm gonna get my eyebrows threaded. Wanna join.? " I said yes! We get there, she mentions " Oh, my girls back from vacation." I asked who's your girl? I look and it was my GIRL PRITI!!!!! I literally told her OMG! She looks familiar and once she gets closer I felt so good knowing I found my girl!!!! Back story... I used to do my brows with Priti at Ziba in Glendale. She was my go to for years I wanna say over five. One day to the next, the owner pulled a shady situation. I had booked online as usual with my Girl Priti. When I show up, the manager or owner tells me that she moved out of the country to help a family member. You cannot imagine how distraught I was because when you find your girl you stick to her! And I trusted her with my eyebrows and my daughter's eyebrows for years. I was also very upset because I told them why did you guys keep my appointment? Or even notify me before I showed up? I don't just let anybody touch my brows especially my daughters ! I was expecting my girl Priti to do them. I also had a very important event. The owner ended up doing my eyebrows and my daughters but didn't come out the same. I never went back to Ziba and left a pretty lengthy review on yelp. If you go back to the Yelp and read all the reviews, many were deceived the way I was. As a business owner they could've called and notified their customers ahead of time. Anyway, After many years of searching for a spot / threader. Unfortunately, I never did! Don't get me wrong I did try Brow Essense and also in Glendale and Dani is great but I can't keep paying 50 bucks for just eyebrow threading. That's why I say the universe wanted me to find my girl in East LA. Go see Priti! She's amazing and their price is actually reasonable ! $10 for eyebrow threading . So today was a good day!

My usual eyebrow lady does them within 15 minutes or less and it seemed to have doubled at this location; she was very slow and the job somehow was worse. She was hesitant to trim the ends, which is something that I always have done by my original eyebrow lady. My eyebrows were uneven as one was arched and the other was curved so I had to tell her to trim the ends or take off more above the arch. She had to go back in several times and each time she failed to do what I asked her. My eyebrows were 3 weeks grown out and I could literally see my shape yet she failed to see it. I left unsatisfied and tried to clean them up with tweezers afterwards.
