Came here on the Monday evening after most restaurants are closed. We were seated right away and there were only a couple of other customers. The food came out pretty quickly and it was hot. Portions are big. Warm tortilla chips came out with refried beans.

Sad attempt at "Chicken Nachos".

Barely edible. I'm going out on a limb here and going to say that any food that makes it to your table in less than 5 minutes after you order, is not going to be good. I left shortly after taking a bite of my food and walked down the street to order a pizza. There are soup kitchens that serve better food than this. If you like boiled, unseasoned chicken on stale chips drizzled with watery queso, the nachos will be your jam. I agree with other Yelpers, dial in and slim down the menu.

Pro Roll, Pulled Pork BBQ with Cheese masterly disguised as Sushi. ( And no that is not wasabi it is Cucumbers and shredded carrots)

This BEAUTIFULLY decorated Restaurant is Nothing as it appears from the exterior. Truly a Unique experience you get a once in a lifetime visit to Mexican and Japanese fusion of tastefullness. The food is as good if not better than the amazing mood setting. Come in for a great burst of taste and unreality.

34 oz Modelo Especials!
Sweetpea ..

Ended a long day of hiking at Maya's Grill. The food (and beer) was exactly what we wanted. We ordered the biggest modelo especial beers (34oz!!) with lots of lime. The chips were warm and were refilled. The salsa bar had a variety of salsas to try. All delicious. I had the fajitas quesadillas and hubs had burrito Texano. Both were huge portions and yummy. The service was awesome. We never had to ask for anything. The waiter was pleasant and even joked around with us. When we checked out and told the cashier about the great service, the cashier laughed and said that our waiter was actually the owner! He much preferred being on the floor then running the register. We would definitely come back.

Post ride aftermath!

OK the service was very slow but the food was good. Not used to taking so long for a meal in a Mexican restaurant.

Yikes, this place was hard to stomach! Pretty sure the shredded chicken came from a can.

Fantastic family taco place. Enjoyed every dip that I tried (especially the queso) and the meats are really tender and tasty.

Below-average Mexican food. My carnitas was dry and the flour tortillas were burnt. Would not recommend.

Not long ago, Brevard was inundated with Mexican restaurants. Some were good, but most had the…read moreunfortunate reality of being staffed by chauvinistic bilingual waiters who made crude, sexual comments about unsuspecting patrons. What I like about Plaza Garabalbi is the family atmosphere. The owner will come to your table and ask about your day with genuine interest. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. When I was dressed up for a job interview once, my cashier gave me a free peppermint patty for luck. Little things like that mean a lot. I have never had to wait for a table no matter what time of day or how busy they were and the food has always been excellent. The decor is standard (paintings of rural Hispanic life, sombreros, mexican flags, futbol on the wide screens) and the expected mariachi music plays, but I enjoy the familiarity and comfort of PG. They just added some intricate carved wood tables to the bar dining area, so that will definitely set them further apart from the rest of the pack. Sink your teeth into a chicken - chorizo platter and feel like you are dining in a home away from home just north of the Southernmost border. It may not be your idea of fine Mexican dining, but everything about PG is just fine with me.

The space is very nicely designed and laid out. Plenty of room in a cozy environment. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, on top of being very effective. I was extremely pleased to find that they even had a few different vegetarian proteins for their various dishes. In terms of the food, I went with a burrito bowl with vegan chorizo. The presentation was fantastic: my photo doesn't do it justice. It was also enormous. Much more food than I could finish, but also delicious. There were so many layers of flavors and textures that really came together in a cohesive dish. The best part is that they offer three different house made salsas, which really leveled up the dish and the experience. I would absolutely recommend checking this place out. The very hip, somewhat low key vibe was comfortable while also feeling high end well designed.

We both ordered the chicken Tinga tacos with rice and beans and I thought they were phenomenal, they weren't my husband's favorite, but I would definitely order again. The service was great and the ambience seems like it would be fun on a Friday or Saturday night.
