I brought my Honda CR-V hybrid in for the typical "B1" routine engine oil maintenance. Upon entering the service drive up area, I was immediately warmly greeted by Zachary Nyman. Zachary smiled, asked about my vehicle, wrote up a work order, and showed me the way to the customer lounge area. The lounge area had many comfortable chairs and a few desks for those needing to work. I gravitated over to the free coffee machine and enjoyed a cup while I caught up on some emails. Fresh popcorn was popping in the machine, but it was a bit too early for me to enjoy it. While I waited, Ed (I think that was his name), introduced himself, walked about asking how we were doing, and pointed us to the popcorn. No pressure of any sort...just a friendly host. Later, Zachary came into the customer lounge with a friendly smile and informed my that my oil maintenance had been completed, however they found a nail in my back right tire during the rotation. Zachary let me know they could repair it right away, if wanted to wait a bit longer, and I agreed. Before long, I was called up to visit the cashier to checkout and pick up my vehicle. This review hurts to write, as we've been coming here for years and have received great service in the past, but after this experience, I don't think we'll be giving them our business again. My husband brought our Civic in for leaking transmission fluid. They made the necessary repairs, and we thought all was good. As he was driving home from the service center, he noticed a brand new, 14-18 inch crack on the front windshield. He immediately called them to tell them about the crack and ask for some kind of compensation, as the crack was not there when we dropped off the car. The service technician even said on the phone that a cracked windshield wasn't in his report from when he walked the car before starting service. After some back and forth, the "director" determined that the crack wasn't their fault since they didn't work on that section of the car, leaving out the fact that the technicians took the car on a test drive after fixing the leak. He said they would not be reimbursing us in any way, and proceeded to offer to replace the windshield for about $1000. $1000!Well, they have a glass guy or something, and that's what they were quoted for an OEM windshield. So we left our car in their care and got it back with a newly broken windshield, and now we're out $1000? This isn't right. My husband voiced his concern and asked for this to be escalated, and they said they'd have the director call back the next morning. He called back the next afternoon and said they would still not be reimbursing or covering the cost of a replacement, but that their glass guy said they could do an aftermarket one for $320. Sure, that's a huge improvement over the original $1000 quote, but if someone left their property in my care and it broke while I had it, I'd never expect them to pay for the damage that happened on my watch. To add to the frustration, the reason given for not offering any compensation was that in the past, if a technician damaged a customer's vehicle, they came and told the manager/director, but no one mentioned it this time, so it must not have been their fault. Even though they have proof in writing that when they initially inspected the car, there was no crack. It's not right, and we wont be bringing our car back to them. We don't even want to bring it back for them to do the windshield repair at this point. I'm so disappointed, because we've been loyal customers here for a long time. read more

Just an update on a different aspect of Hardin Honda, the express service oil change. This is the building on the left when you pull up to the complex, not the main showroom. Watch the arrows to see which lane you need to be in, as they're opposite what you would expect! I drove by on a Saturday afternoon expecting a good line of cars. To my surprise, there was only one! A far cry from what I've seen the few times I've been here, where there seems to be 10 or more cars waiting. If I had seen a line, I would have come back midweek, but I was thrilled I didn't have to. This was my first oil change on my 2024 Honda Accord Hybrid. I wasn't sure what to expect, but everything was great. It's just like any other service department: someone comes out, asks what service you're looking for, walks around the cars, marks any issues (I have one on my bumper, which makes me sad), and then you go to their desk for the paperwork. I was about 1-1/2 to 2 hours, but he put 90 minutes on the paperwork, as I was going to wait. And honestly, it took less than an hour. It helped that nothing was wrong; it was just a simple oil change and tire rotation. I sat in the "cell phone-free" waiting area, enjoying the free Wi-Fi. When my name was called to review the paperwork (maintenance is free for 2-years on my car) my car was already outside waiting for me--no need for someone to "pull my car up," which I again appreciated. When you leave the parking lot, pay attention to the arrows again. You drive on the left side of the driveway, so pretend you're in England for a couple of minutes. read more

I was really rooting for Hardin Honda since I've had smooth experiences with the express service before but unfortunately had to write an update after buying a car at the dealership. In short, my family agreed to pay for the vehicle for its promised safety features, only to be absolutely bamboozled into paying for a vehicle lacking said safety features with no compensation. Had we known about it, we wouldn't have gotten the car, and now the dealership will not accommodate for the faulty software in the vehicle that we had nothing to do with. We realized a day after getting the car that it didn't have a working core safety hands-free feature in Apple Carplay, which was a feature that worked flawlessly with the previous Honda HRV model (that we got from Norm Reeves). This was not disclosed to us as we were negotiating for the car. Hardin Honda's excuse? "Yeah, we didn't know about it, either. Turns out it affects some vehicles. Sorry! We'll try to fix it eventually, but no telling when...in the meantime, you're stuck paying for this vehicle." So we were pretty much tricked into paying for a vehicle that has glaring issues with the software. After continuously driving back and forth from the dealership because of this flaw in the software, it's beyond me that we're told to just "deal with it" considering the frustrating amount of time and effort my family put into trying to find a solution to this problem. My tip? Go to another dealership that prioritizes customer satisfaction over sales. read more

Purchased a 2025 Honda CR-V in August of 2024. We were told and provided paperwork that we would receive Honda Service pass for 2 years or 24,000 miles. I took the car in for the second service and was told 2025 cars only receive one year of service pass. Spent one hour talking to all different departments of Hardin Honda and was only told that 2025 Hondas receive one year of Service Pass. Attached a photo for Eric from Sales/Finance since he did not believe I had the paperwork that listed the 2 year program. I had three different appointments here, and each experience was frustrating. The staff seemed very unprofessional, and nearly every question I asked was met with, "I don't know." At my first appointment, I waited 20 minutes before someone finally informed me that their system was down and I would need to reschedule. It would have been courteous to notify patients before they arrived. At my second appointment, I was told my vehicle would need to stay overnight, which no one had mentioned when I scheduled the appointment. Had I known that ahead of time, I could have planned accordingly. By the time I scheduled my third appointment, I ended up canceling because the person I spoke with on the phone was outright rude. Unfortunately, the visit revealed not only recurring issues but new ones as well: - Recurring Brake/Axle Noise: The rear-end brake or axle noise--previously reported multiple times--is still present. Additionally, a knocking sound when reversing has returned, which your team had already noted in past service records. - New AC Issue: The vehicle's AC is no longer providing adequate cold air, which is unacceptable given the recent heat. This issue was raised during today's visit. When my nephew asked about having these items checked, he was told by someone at your express service desk that: "You had two oil changes from the original purchase and one from Honda. You already used one, and the second free oil change has expired. After this, there are no more free oil changes." He was also told: "If you want the AC checked, you'll need to go to the used car service area, but they'll charge you for inspection or diagnosis." This prompted me to step in. I attempted to reach your service managers, Mike or Matt, leaving a voicemail with no response. After four unsuccessful calls, I finally reached someone on the fifth attempt--Alfredo Mejia--who genuinely listened and took initiative. Alfredo reviewed the VIN and discovered a recall on the AC component, confirming that Honda would cover the diagnosis and repairs. He offered to check the vehicle in immediately, explain everything to my nephew, and even arranged a shuttle for my father and nephew to get home. Alfredo was the only person in your service department who answered the phone and took ownership of the situation. I asked Alfredo to clarify how a free oil change could "expire" when the vehicle wasn't yet due for service. He investigated and confirmed that the claim was inaccurate and made sure the correct notes were added to the vehicle's history. Alfredo Mejia deserves recognition. His professionalism, initiative, and customer-first attitude stand in stark contrast to the lack of responsiveness and accountability from others in your service team. If Alfredo hadn't stepped in, I would still be chasing down answers. To management: - Please ensure Alfredo becomes my point of contact moving forward. - Promote individuals like him who embody leadership and integrity. - Retrain staff who fail to check for recalls or misinform customers about service terms. - Stop deflecting service issues to sales managers who lack context and authority to resolve them. Writing an update to my review. Hardin Honda Express the last 2 visits have not been the best experience. Pulling into the driveway, I was met with the same guy as last time. I showed the dashboard notification saying right front tire low pressure. It's 11 am and he told me I would be seen around 2 pm. I'm not waiting 3 hours for this. So I go to Hardin Honda and try my chances in the walk ins. Julian, asks me same thing, I showed the notification. And right away he says to turn my wheel and drive up slowly looking for punctures. I was looking at getting a new suv so I decided to stop by Hardin Honda to check out the CRVs. As I pulled up to the lot and started browsing, I was greeted by Miguel who asked if I had been helped yet and if I had any questions. I let him know that I was interested in looking at the CRV but I was not yet ready to buy. I did not want to have a stressful car buying experience or be pushed into buying something I wasn't happy with. Miguel promptly showed me the CRV, and also the Passport, which I was also interested in. He was very respectful, calm, and was not pushy like a typical car salesman. He was very knowledgeable, let me know about all the features, and explained the difference between trims and models. I thanked him for showing me the cars and let him know that I would be reaching out to him when I was ready to buy a car. He gave me his card and told me to give him a call if I had any questions or when I was ready to buy a car. Once again, he respected my wishes. Throughout the next couple days, I ended up searching online at different makes and models and they were similar in price for the mid size SUVs with the options I wanted. I went to a few other dealerships to look around and I was met with pushy salesman trying to get me to run my credit and push me into buying an over priced car I didn't need or want. A few days later, I decided that the CRV was going to be the most reliable option and with the best features and interior space for the price. I called Miguel and let him know that I wanted to come in for a test drive, he let me know that he would have the CRV pulled up and waiting for me when I got there. I test drove the car and decided I wanted to buy it. We went inside negotiated the price and options. He asked if he could check my credit, filled out the credit app and proceeded to the finance department. I got a great deal and Miguel made this process quick and painless. He was patient, knowledgeable, respectful and helpful. If you need a new car I highly recommend Hardin Honda. Make sure to call Miguel if you want the best experience. I am extremely happy, this is the 3rd Honda I've bought from Hardin Honda. I'm sure to buy from them again in the future. read more
