NY style? That's a joke, right? The slices are all miss matched in size. Not one was "NY style" size. The dough is not fresh. Day old at best. The crust is thick, yes, but not crisp. It's like eating stale bread. The crust beneath the topping is thin, but far from pliable. You can fold with two hands and a knife. Eating it is like chewing rubber. This was the worst pizza I've ever had. Perhaps if you're from Toledo this is a great pizza, but if you've ever left this place, you know it's garbage made with 2-4 day old ingredients and not worth more than $7. The food we got tasted pretty good but it's not what we ordered. They messed up the order in multiple ways. The pizza wasn't the one we ordered. The sauce we paid extra for wasn't what we ordered. Also, we specifically requested to be notified when the pizza was delivered but it was just left on the porch getting cold while we waited inside to be notified. To top it off, when I called to let them know about the problem, the employee literally blamed me for the "mistakes" and HUNG UP ON ME!!! It is for that reason alone that I will never order from them again. I will be sure to spread the word because customer service is very important imo. Ordered last night, 2 subs, chicken parm sub and club sub and the apple crisp pizza. Both subs were beyond horrible. First off the roast beef on the club was honestly the most vile thing ive ever seen. It was a thick slice of the smelliest piece of meat ive encountered. My gir!friend took it off of her sub and said she didnt like it and since i love roast beef i had a bite, and ended up throwing up from the smell and texture of it, felt like a thick cows tongue. My chicken parm was bad as well, small little chunks of chicken with no flavor. Apple pizza has the worst crust, hard and tasted like cardboard. Horrible place. read more

We are from Pittsburgh, visiting a friend who lives in the neighborhood. When we were thinking about lunch yesterday she mentioned Bambino's as having delicious sandwiches. So that's where we went to get take out. It's a great little mom and pop place and the owner and staff are friendly and give great service. The sandwiches really were wonderful, and very generously sized. Three of our group had the 10" Italian and I had the 8" Cheese Steak. The sandwiches had been toasted, which melted the cheese, crisped the bread, and did wonderful things to the meat. We enjoyed everything, but my husband and I decided that when we come back to Toledo we would split the 10". We'll see you next month! read more

I decided that we needed to try a new food place in town and we are in the mood for pizza. I found Bambinos on the internet and saw that I could get them delivered to the house. So I decided to pick a plain cheese pizza and cheese bread and pepperoni pizza. The cheese bread was a little bit dry and didn't have a lot of cheese actually on it. The pepperoni for my taste was a little bit spicy however everybody in the house besides me loved it. The cheese pizza though was wonderful. It had plenty of cheese on it with a wonderful flavor texture and the crust was not too thin but not too thick. We will be ordering from here again especially compared to some of the bigger pizza stores out there. read more

They used to be my favorite pizza location in this whole city, but sadly the manager and staff have either started cheaping out on good quality materials that they used or they just forgot how to make there pizzas correctly. So this rating is mainly based on the delivery service here! I ordered 2 large pizzas and cheesy bread a couple weeks ago. My estimated delivery time was set for 40 minutes. After 40 minutes passed and I didn't hear anything, I decided to give them a grace period and wait till the 1 hour mark before I called to inquire. An hour passes and I finally call them and I dial the number provided on their website, but the line is disconnected. For several minutes I tried to get through to them but no answer. Finally I called YELP customer service and they tell me that they have also been trying to contact the restaurant because there was an error with my order and they couldn't get in a hold of them either. Another half hour passes and finally I am able to connect to the restaurant. Then a worker tells me that "they are really backed up" and there is only one driver and that they will have my order out in the next 15 minutes. So I didn't actually receive my food until about 2 hours after I ordered. Really annoyed and lost my appetite at that point. But the delivery driver did seem very apologetic about the situation and that was nice. The triple pepperoni and double cheese pizza was really good. I didn't really care for the chicken and onion pizza. The cheesy bread was Ok. Probably will not order here again based on the ridiculously long wait time . read more

Stopped in with my husband on a drive trip to Toledo. It was easy to park with many parking spaces . We took a chance and stopped in for a quick bite. I am from Queens, New York. I do a lot of traveling because of my job and I have had the so-called NY style pizzas at other parts of the USA before.
