I forgot to review this place when I went last year. So one morning my friend was like "Wanna go high speed go kart racing?" and I thought, "Well I've never been go kart racing before so why not go balls out if I'm going for the first time." I went. I raced. I sucked. But this isn't about me, it's about MB2. Its a little intimidating if you've never been before. I mean there's all these kids around who totally know what they're doing and how they are supposed to do it but if you go up to the counter and ask the staff "What the hell do I do?" They'll explain it all. Basically you want to go with a bunch of friends, the more of you the better cause then you can have the whole track to your selves. Unfortunately there is only one track, like I said I've never been racing before so I don't know if this is a common thing or if there are usually more tracks. I don't like waiting but fortunately they have nice couches where you can sit and watch the race or an air hockey thing. It seemed a little expensive but I was broke at the time. However looking back on it, I'd pay $26 for fun any day. At the end of the race they give you a print out of how well you did, or if you're like me, they give you an analog reminder of how bad you suck at pretend racing. Then you get back in your real car and think "dude, I can totally drive. WTF?" and you have to keep yourself from wanting to drive really fast again. A lot of kids came here to literally RACE, and I didn't particularly come for that reason (just came for fun), so it was a little intimidating to drive with a bunch of people literally racing! Tip - don't wear sandals! But they do provide socks/shoes if you accidentally wear them anyway and for free! We came also with the groupon - for $11/person, it's worth it! Very good place to go with your kids . Had lots of fun and will be returning. The price is 50 but includes 2 rounds of racing and a few more things. You can buy more rounds if u would like to. When u go in you put your information such as name,Age,bday,address,email,phone number ,zip code, city, state, and how u heard about them. Then after you have to pay . After that they will give u a head sock and ur number on ur receipt. They have a small arcade , dip n dots , and snacks . They will tell you about how long is the wait . Then after they have called your number you go to where the helmets are . There will be an assistant helping you and telling you how to make it secure . There are many sizes and they go up to I believe XL. After everyone that's riding has finished putting on the helmets you will go up to one of the workers who has your number of kart. He will ask u for ur name and which number of Kart your going on. After you have received ur number of kart you will go to that kart and put on your seatbelt . They will also make sure it's correct. You will be seated there in your kart for about 5 minutes while the other race finishes. Once all the karts from last round are there and everything's clear they will tell u to go front . They open the way to go start the race and then you go slowly front and will stop right where the worker is. He will show you a sign "NO BUMPING" . Then he tells you go and the first round you start slow and then you start going real fast. There is a JUNIOR race and an ADULT race . Adults are 12 and up and juniors are any lower than 12. I celebrated my son's 11th Birthday and it was amazing!! The event coordinator was amazing, helped with the food purchase and any questions i had before the party. Maddy was also super nice and had everything under control, from getting all the parents to sign the waivers, getting the kids ready for the race, arcade cards, food and drinks and even set up a time slot for the parents that wanted to race. I've been here a couple times now , but when I came in last weekend. The people that are supposed to flag down slow riders weren't paying attention throughout the entire race so I was stuck behind a slower rider for a few laps cause they wouldn't let me through. My first visit was great! My mother in law stopped in the track and hit her hard. And two employees came running to make sure we were okay. It jut has to be like that with every race, all the employees working on the track need to be doing their job . At all times . Looks like a lot of fun. I took my six year old nephew to race around this indoor race track. They don't mix adults with the children as it looks like the adults can go really fast with their go karts. $20 for each ride. I was very unhappy with my experience here. First of all I live about an hour away so that makes it even more annoying. I did get the Living Social voucher, which was a plus, but since I didnt get to use it that cross out that. Basically, I called the day before the get all the info and they say the whole process is about 20 minutes start to finish. If there's a party, might be a little longer. cool. I get there and and hour and 15 min I'm still waiting a a *!^$# turn. Mind you the guy had told me thirty minutes. I go back up to him and he says "About 30 more minutes" I say What the! "Oh, since there's a party they have priority, I have to let them go first". Forget that...I go up to the counter to get a return and the lady doesnt know how to do it since its living social. Great place for the kids!! If anyone crashes they slow down all the karts, but its cool because they have a projector on the wall that shows who's in 1st. There's also 2 divisions, the adults and older kids and the junior division. I really like it because I don't have to worry about my little 8 year old getting bumped or passed by more experienced drivers and it also lets my 13 year old be competitive around people his size. It costs about $20 if you have their card and only a few dollars more if you don't, but the race lasts a good long time compared to others that only let you go around the bend once. read more

Whatever you do not come here or book a party here; Or any other MB2 Raceway. I am at a kids birthday party right now. Out of 15 kids, two are not allowed to race. On the website and here, it states that the minimum age to drive is 48 inches. Both kids reach the 48 inch Mark. However, they say that their legs are not tall enough. It does not state this anywhere in the liability waiver nor on their website. Two kids are sitting down at the table crying because all of their friends are racing, and they are not allowed. My husband and I LOVE MB2 Raceway. It's a wonderful place to go for a date night or for less busy times, to go during the day if you're not working. The staff is always friendly and willing to help you learn to go faster on the track. After the race they have a print out of how well you did against the others in your race and how well you're advancing each time you come. They have a winners circle podium to take pictures on and the staff has always been eager to take a photo of our groups that go. I wouldn't recommend these rides. The seats on the karts are made of hard plastic. I went with my family so I was really careful not to hit anyone when passing. For some reason they cut the charge on most karts (happens often during a race as a precaution when there is a collision or a car stalls) but the two strangers behind me still had charge on their karts, apparently, and they both slammed into me full p speed. They didn't even bother to hit the brakes. With the constant stop and go and careless drivers that put victory over safety, and the hard seats, I do not recommend this experience. I purchased 6 tickets at 2:00 and they told us to come back at 5:00 so we did and when we do they told us another hour wait so we did and after that hour was up being 6:00 I asked the woman at the front desk and she told us that it would be another 40 minutes. This place is the most dysfunctional place ever. Along with waiting hours, they have parties that didn't show up on time trump what position you are so that's just extra time wasted.
