Unforgettable Family Adventure with Happy Trails Rental!…read more We recently took our family to Palm Springs for a fun weekend filled with stargazing, hiking, and off-roading--and hands down, the highlight of the entire trip was our experience with Happy Trails Rental. We rented two side-by-sides (one 4-seater and one 2-seater) and chose the Scavenger Hunt, which was perfect since we had my younger nephew with us. From start to finish, Ben and Tony were absolutely fantastic--extremely helpful, communicative, and transparent every step of the way. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free, which allowed us to focus on having fun as a family. They even provided a cooler for us to pack lunch, and the navigation was pre-mapped with clear waypoints, making it easy to explore without worrying about getting lost. We stopped multiple times along the way to take pictures, enjoy the scenery, and just soak in the experience. The entire time, my family was smiling from ear to ear. Ben and Tony are true professionals, and it really shows in how well they run their business and take care of their customers. If you're looking to spend a few unforgettable hours outdoors with your family, I can't recommend Happy Trails Rental enough. We will absolutely be back!

The first red flag was that the company did not provide a phone number, making it difficult to get help or clarification when we needed it. We followed their directions exactly and arrived 30 minutes early. We parked in the designated lot as instructed by the person at the gate, but our guide never came to meet us. We eventually had to drive into the park ourselves and locate the guide, who was parked on the side of the road. There was no clear signage identifying the company or where customers were supposed to check in. Once we finally found the guide, the intake process took approximately 40 minutes. After all of that, we paid approximately $700 for a ride that lasted only about 20 minutes. We were also promised pictures from the experience, but no pictures were ever provided. Lucky I took my own before riding. What made the experience even worse was the customer service afterward. Rather than taking responsibility for the poor communication, unclear instructions, lack of signage, and failure to provide what was promised, the company provided little to no accountability. For the amount of money we spent, this was absolutely not the experience we expected. Poor communication, poor organization, inadequate customer service, and failure to deliver what was promised. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company and would strongly encourage others to consider other ATV companies before booking.

They were able to explain step by step how to load and work each of the atv's. They provided us with the trailer to go with it no charge. They also had helmets and goggles if we needed. Let us try on the helmets that best fits us. The Atv's worked great but unfortunately we did end up damaging one of the atv's. We let them know right away the situation and they were very understanding and were just concerned that no one was hurt. They were very helpful. Had such a great experience with them. Not only that, our drop off was between 9-10am, We reached there 9:30 after leaving a msg when we will arrive, the guy showed up @ 10:45am. Pick up and drop off was shady behind someone else's house and neighbors told us that they always gave their address for some reason. They was very unhappy with Mike and his crew too. Here's a list of things that were wrong:- - Left side trailer tail light not working. - Bent trailer & hitch - Front Right Flat RZR tire - Back left bald & plugged tire. - Ordered & paid for RZR Turbo but got RZR 1000. - Check engine light on all the time. - Unsafe for dunes or anywhere, got stuck on small dune, no power. - Was delivered dirty. - Left trailer low tire pressure. - Loose cables, wiring, trim. - Insufficient strength ties down for RZR. - Dirty helmets, broken & cracked goggles. We rented the 24' Keystone Hideout Bunkhouse Travel Trailer with a slide-out. Check-In Just show up and your RV is ready and waiting. The RV was spotless--clean in all areas: cabinets, kitchen, bathroom, etc. I'm a bit of a germaphobe, so when I wiped things down with a disinfecting wipe, there was no dirt or residue at all! Impressive, especially for an RV that's rented often and used out in the woods. Since this was our first time renting an RV, we called ahead with some questions and the man we spoke with was kind and friendly. Check-Out You only need to take out the trash, clean the dishes, and sweep. Since we weren't sure how check-out worked, we didn't realize the person who comes to collect the RV was already waiting nearby. He was very nice and didn't rush us at all. He said it was no problem that he waited and even let us linger in the area without making us feel like we had to leave immediately. Even though checkout was at 11 a.m., he didn't collect the RV until a little after noon, once we moved our vehicle out of the driveway. Great customer service!
