The food here really lives up to the hype--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every bite was spot-on, and it's easy to see why people rave about the menu. Unfortunately, the experience falls apart when it comes to seating. There's little to no place to sit, making it difficult to actually enjoy the meal. Whether you're dining in or hoping to stay a while, the lack of space turns what should be a great visit into a frustrating one. Great food can only carry a place so far--without a comfortable spot to sit, it's hard to justify coming back.

What a beautiful gem in Knoxville. If you want a fancy yet comfortable delicious dinner date night, this is a great option. The salmon was absolutely outstanding, possibly one of the best I've ever had. Yet it's always the taste and ambience moment that makes the difference, right? Great looking menu and the service is top notch. Adds a touch of class to the experience. Beautiful dining room, maybe a bit tight at some tables but it's all good and when the focus is on the food and company, nothing else matters much.

Everything was amazing! We had the White Cheddar Roast Beef, BBQ with white sauce, chicken cordon bleu, iced chocolate latte, key lime pie.

Chicken pesto sandwich and creamy chicken vegetable soup!

The creamy chicken vegetable soup was fantastic! I also took the fried bologna sandwich to go for dinner. It tasted great as well.

A bustling place at lunch. Arrive early so you don't have to stake out a seat like a vulture. We ordered the soup sampler (everything was amazing except the Italian wedding which was just fine), the Italian sandwich which was a perfect combination of flavors, and the French dip which was cleverly served quartered into sticks for dipping. Truffle and pimento macs were flavorful and generous portions. Chocolate cupcake was moist and yummy.

Bacon and cheese on the side. Bacon was really good. Pesto salad, so yummy.

Stopped by this sweet gem during our visit from VA. Very crowded. Wonderful food, HUGE portion sizes. I could only eat half of my sandwich. The other half I took to go. I did not see an option to order half a sandwich with a cup of soup, but when I return I will ask to see if it is an option. If not, I will be sharing a sandwich and soup with my hubby.

Food was amazing! We always know the food service and ambiance are consistently terrific. Andrew our server was top notch. He gave great suggestions, great service. He was friendly, attentive, kind, and professional. We had the ribs, one had the lobster, Caesar salad is huge, I enjoyed the fried oysters, and the scallops.

We arrived when they opened and it filled up quickly. There is not a lot of seating but if you get a chance, you must try them out! Amazing food! Fresh items with great menu choices. We'll definitely be returning.

Looks like the building itself isn't open yet but looking forward to it opening! Meanwhile they do takeout for lunch 12-2p through their main restaurant and I have to say the sandwiches are pretty great! Ordering and paying online is super easy and they have curbside pickup designated parking spots. For lunch we got two sandwiches. They all come with coleslaw and a pickle. Muffuletta sandwich (4/5) pretty packed with meat (bologna, ham, Genoa salami and pepperoni) with an olive tapenade between rosemary focaccia. It was pretty good, although a bit on the salty side with all the preserved meats and olive tapenade. Short rib stuffed meatloaf sandwich (5/5) this was the favorite! The meatloaf was amazing when I had it at the restaurant and amazing pressed between the sweet sourdough bread. Super filling and you could probably even split it with another person. Sweet sourdough bread (5/5) sweet, fluffy, and so pillowy soft, the flavor is perfect. We got two loaves to save for a rainy day. Can't wait for the actual cafe to be finished cause I imagine the ambiance would be great.

Decided to try this year for the vegan chef challenge just to see if there might be something I could eat or maybe I'd be wild and ask for the sandwich without the bread. Imagine my SHOCK when I saw gluten free bread on the regular vegan menu and asked if the GF bread was also vegan!! (Spoiler alert: it IS!) This now opens up a world of options, and more reasons to come back regularly. They have an EXTENSIVE vegan menu, and both soups offered the day I was there were vegan. The cashier told us there's a pub downstairs, with different vegan menu items. It's attached to a bookstore and has a homey, comfy feel. It's the kind of place you feel you could hang out in all day and no one would complain. The cashier was BEYOND helpful and friendly and made several recommendations for things to try in the future. The only bad thing is I wasted a year not trying this place. I'll need to make up for that!

The small shop consists of a walk up window and drive-thru (similar to how Sonic operates). I didn't have high expectations since I didn't see any cars and their business name was unheard of but I was actually impressed by their coffee. My mom ordered a hot cappuccino, I got the iced Southern Belle, and my sister got a soft serve. My mom was very satisfied with her cappuccino (we customized her drink a little when ordering and they actually listened and delivered). Neither of us like anything very sugary so coffee is usually a hit or miss with us - it's either made with no sugar or way too much. This wasn't the case with QuickFix and I think they deserve recognition for this. My drink was nothing extraordinary but I really enjoyed it, the sugar level was just right and the splash of espresso was very inviting without being overpowering. I can see why it's one of their signatures... it's like a classic that you can never go wrong with. There were only two young girls working there (I remembered one had darker blonde or light brown hair and the other is lighter blonde) and the one who took our order (darker blonde) also made my Southern Belle drink. She was so sweet that she makes me wanna come back. She told us the store's 5 year anniversary was coming up so they will be having deals that weekend which I had looked forward to, but our vacation was pretty short and I didn't get a chance to go back. However if I revisit Tennessee in the future, you'll definitely find me here.

The food is some of the best breakfast foods I've had, especially the biscuits and gravy! But the bad: and this might keep me from returning: The location and entrance is confusing. Once you find it, there are two doors (one is a ramp for handicap visitors), there's a sign "see host for seating" but THERE IS NO HOST!!!! So how do you get sat? How do you get your name on a list? It's a former house, so the rooms are broken up and the path is winding to tables. I waited several minutes in a vestibule area with employees bustling around but no greeting. No "I'll be with you in a minute". I finally had to flag someone down and say "how do I get my name on the list". They don't make it easy, you have to work for it here. And even once we got our name and party size on the list, apparently people can just decide to walk in and sit down (probably because they don't have a host) and jump ahead of you. Not a great experience. We did finally get a table, even though I wanted to leave due to the complete chaos, I'm glad we stayed. The coffee was incredible and as I stated above, the food was wonderful. They just need a manager to create some work lanes/duties and get a host in place.
