We visited for an early Mother's Day meal. We made reservations and were seated quickly. Our group had 11 people so I expected it to take a little longer for food but we were probably there a total of 2 hours and with the kids it felt like the service was a bit slow and spaced out. The chicken Madeira and branzino were delicious. The kids had a flatbread pizza and it was hard to eat because the middle was soggy and everything fell off when they took a bite. We ordered a kids slider meal too which felt overpriced for the size. I would suggest more of an adult restaurant than for kids. Their BBQ chicken salad is still great & that dressing is still the best!! The chicken tenders entree came w/ a ton of em. The green beans were delicious. The sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly. For an appetizer the avocado egg rolls were awesome, crispy and the green dipping sauce is amazing. We tried the mixed berry cheesecake which was pretty good & not too rich like many of the chocolate ones that take 3 sessions to eat. We've been there enough to know what is good and what isn't. Somewhere in the top five things never to do is ask the waiter or waitress if the selection you are thinking about is any good. The always say how good it is even if it sucks. So I ordered a southwestern egg roll dish. Always stick with your gut feeling. every time I order something I've never had (because 90% of the time they don't have AHI tuna anything), it always is disappointing. So that is what I did. I ate three pieces of it and pushed it aside. Any other waitress or waiter would have asked if you'd maybe like something else. Nope. Not hours. Sarah S. You have the personality of a turnip! Gotta love The Cheesecake Factory! My family and I came here after my nieces graduation and had a great experience. One server was very nice and super attentive, helping us out with every request the large party made. She also gave us bread baskets with only pumpernickel at our request! I don't think it's possible not to feel completely overwhelmed by the number of menu items, but this is what we signed up for. There were plenty of new, interesting items and I was sad to see a few of my past favorites gone, like the factory burrito. I got the avocado egg rolls as an appetizer. They were absolutely delicious and the dipping sauce was incredible. I could eat those weekly. I also got the Thai chicken salad. It was flavorful, light, and refreshing. I love the dressing, the sauce on the chicken and the crunchy peanuts. I also got a mojito which was tasty but pretty sweet. We were staying at hotel in the Cleveland area in Crocker Park, Westlake. We were hungry and wanted something within walking distance. Cheesecake Factory is tried and true as we occasionally go to the Easton location near us at home in Columbus. It was Friday night and the place was busy - but no wait to be seated. YAY! However, it was a minute before our server greeted us and took our drink order. Generally, she did a pretty good job of being timely and attentive. Ordering was quick and easy as we knew what we wanted. Again, it took a minute to get our food but I guess understandable given it was busy. ANother random thought - people were packed in there! It was so loud and a bit difficult to hear my hubby as we were so close to the tables next to us and there was music piped in on top of that. Food was good. Nice sized portions. Hubby got a pasta dish that he likes and I went with a Skinnylicious salad. Given the time of day, we both got water - no caffeinated sodas as we normally would have done. Plus, I think they may carry Coke products and hubby is a Mt Dew snob. I'm a diet cola with a preference for Pepsi products - but I'll take what they have if I am going to order. Check was presented and plates cleared pretty much in a reasonable amount of time. Overall, about what I'd expect - good quality, OK service and fair price. The atmosphere is nice. The place has pretty design. The cheeseburger rolls were so good. The sauces were good too especially the big Mac sauce they had with the rolls. I got the mortadella sandwich which was great fries were crispy too. My husband got tbe meatloaf. It was really good. The gravy was a little salty. The 2 margaritas I got were almost 15 a piece and I swear there was no alcohol mixed in the drinks. That is not okay when im paying 15 a drink. The Easter tradition for my family is brunch at this Cheesecake Factory. I'll save some juicy tea from past holidays for after today's experience. Our large party was sat at two separate stretches of 2 top tables put together, so we had to take it upon ourselves to push the two sections together. Not a big deal. Our server was polite, punctual and attentive, though with 17 people, I would expect our group to have a couple servers assigned to our table. Water under the bridge. Jessica did a great job making sure we all had water, coffee and juice. Our food was all accurate, hot, and came swiftly! My Monte Cristo (something I've never had here) was fluffy, crunchy, salty and sweet! While some of their menu items aren't prepared in a traditional manner (the monte cristo being one of them), their creative license occasionally pays off. I loved the jam that came with the sandwich, and finished the rest for lunch after a long, cheesecake-induced session in the gym. The Dulce de leche cheesecake was a bit rich, but hey, what cheesecake isn't? Today (like every year in the past) our request for a reservation was denied, leaving our party of 17 to wait (thankfully not as long as last years). We have been coming to this Cheesecake Factory on Easter for likely 10+ years. I wish they would accommodate the one, consistent large party they see every single year, but corporate chains just don't have the sense to be personal with their regular customers, and that's nobody at this location's fault. They forgot my grandmother's candied pecans on her pancakes like a decade ago. She didn't say anything to us or the servers, until she decided to mention it to me as we were about to get up to leave. I insisted on asking for them as she had some leftovers to go. The server kindly obliged, naturally. This is still a running joke we get a good kick out of, and that' memory is worth more than any amount of overlooked nuts! I probably went against the grain and got the carrot cake for dessert- the flavor was good but I personally did not care for the texture of the cake- too dense for my liking. Disappointing Experience with Excessive Wait Time... My fiancé and I recently visited and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. What was supposed to be a casual dinner turned into a frustrating ordeal that lasted well over two hours. We were initially told there would be a 30-minute wait for a table, which we were okay with. However, that estimate turned into nearly an hour--and only after we followed up at the host stand did we finally get seated. Once we were seated, it took over an hour for our food to arrive--a chicken salad and a burger with fries. We had to ask our server multiple times about the status of our meal and by the time it arrived, the experience had already been soured. While waiting, we witnessed parties on both sides sit after us and finish their meals before us! We planned on ordering slices to go but decided not to as we had an hour drive and could not bare to sit and wait any longer. We understand restaurants can get busy, but this level of disorganization and lack of communication was unacceptable. We won't be returning to the Westlake location. read more

I normally go to Cheesecake Factory in Beachwood Ohio but I happened to be in Westlake and decided to give this location a try. It was super packed but we got sat down at our table right away which was a plus! I always order the Louisiana chicken pasta with extra sauce and was so excited to have it as it's my favorite meal and I hadn't had it in so long so I was super stoked! I received my food and was instantly upset because I asked for extra sauce and my meal was actually extra dry. I decided to eat it anyways because I was starving and then I discovered a hair in my food lol. At this point I was just over it. Very disappointed in the food quality of my chicken quesadilla that I ordered which is an appetizer it's one piece of tortilla. It had less than a pound of chicken breast on it. It had actually each tortilla had two small bites of chicken standard with a little bit of cheese folded over and toasted. That cost $15.99. Really cheesecake factory you can't even give me a pound of chicken on each tortilla or altogether on one tortilla. You can't even give me a pound of chicken. There was less than a third of a cup of cheese altogether with six small pieces of chicken, not even equally a pound For $15.99. This is when they might as well lock the doors and throw away the key when they have to charge someone $15.99 for six small 1 ounce sizes of chicken. I'm very disappointed not only in the price but the quality of the food and then with the sides you don't even get more than a tablespoon of sour cream guacamole or salsa. There are other places to go, but since I was shopping in Crocker Park, I thought I would have dinner takeout from the cheesecake factory. And while this Customer Service was fine it was too late to complain to anybody because by the time I got home, the restaurant was closed. I'm disappointed. I think you should rethink that price for that appetizer because that's just way too much money. For that price I could've gone somewhere had a steak dinner with a baked potato, a vegetable, a salad and bread and butter. So if you wanna keep it 100 the prices are way overpriced. I'm gonna throw this out here right now: I've reviewed so many of these locations, it's almost redundant to discuss the menu items. Execution of the food is usually pretty consistent throughout every Cheesecake Factory I've ever visited. With that said, I want to discuss something I just realized about my favorite dish: the shrimp scampi. Now, as anyone can tell you, I am a HUGE fan of their scampi sauce and the way they season their jumbo bistro style shrimp. It's only a shame they don't give their pasta the same treatment. Yeah. The pasta itself is totally bland. Either my brain was playing tricks on me before or I was willfully blind. But this dish would be SO much better if the pasta were sauced or even seasoned in similar fashion to the shrimp. Sometimes, I take a piece of the breading discarded from the shrimp, mix it with the pasta to give it a bit of flavor, and then proceed to have a party in my mouth. I have no idea why I told you guys this, but I felt someone had to know. Anyways, the service on the bar side was second-to-none. Unfortunately, I did not elect to have a piece of cheesecake this time because I was just having a light lunch. Oh, and I still hate the idea that CF doesn't allow you to sprinkle your own Parmesan. It's like there's a shortage and they have to sprinkle it sparingly for you. What if I like extra cheese on my pasta? What if I wanna build a Parmesan mountain layering my dish to perfection? Yes, that's a mountain I'm willing to die on. That's about it, folks. Not bad, but nothing much to write home about. I think it's telling that I basically only order 1 of 2 things here anymore. The menu is huge, but eventually you just develop a favorite and stick with that one thing. Well, this place is hopping!! We went here for dinner on a busy Friday night. Service was great the food was ok- I ordered the Cajan chicken and I am sad to report that it was cold upon arrival- my husband had the steak, and he reported that it was cooked to his specifications and delicious. Mys husband and I had 2 drinks each and we felt like we got good bang for our buck. We of course finished the night out with some cheesecake and it was standard. We split the carmal turtle one and it was rich and perfect. I would have loved to have given this location 5 stars but unfortunately due to the cold entree I could not. I would also like to say that due to it having no carpet/curtains it is loud in there with no sound buffers which made it hard to hear the conversation with my partner... the tables are also so uncomfortably close I feel like we could hear the conversations of our table neighbors. I visited the Cheesecake Factory Westlake location on Monday afternoon, 5 July 2021 in Cleveland's Crocker Park mall. I hadn't been to this chain restaurant in a very long time so I was excited to return. My friend, Gabby, treated me to lunch. This day was a federal holiday, the day after Independence Day, so I had the day off work to drive here. If you work in the area then you can visit during lunchtime or I suggest coming here on a weekend. LUNCH -- This location is huge so there are plenty of options to choose from on the menu. For meat lovers, you may start off with an appetizer - I recommend the chicken POTSTICKERS as an Asian inspired dish. If you like FISH, then I recommend the lunch size Fresh Grilled Salmon which comes with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The salmon is well cooked with good flavour. My friends enjoyed their meals. Two of them also got the same salmon dish as me, except one got a dinner size version which comes with rice. Another friend got the Spicy Chicken Chipotle Pasta (see photos below). DESSERT - I tried a fork-sized bite of the Chocolate Caramelicious Cheesecake (made with Snickers chocolate bar) and the Hersey's Chocolate Bar Cheesecake. My 2 friends ordered these cheesecakes and they loved it. I believe they took the majority home with them (to-go) because the cheesecakes are is very big for just one person to eat and very sweet. HOSPITALITY/SERVICE -- We had a very attentive waiter who brought us glasses of water once we arrived and checked on our table as we ate. I've been here maybe once or twice a long time ago before coming here recently and I was very pleased with the food, service, and ambiance. This is certainly a treat kind of place and so it's nice when you're able to expect a good experience, especially during this Eastertide with a time of celebration. I got the cheeseburger with fries and a half of the Oreo cheesecake -- it was very delicious! The cheeseburger was tender; the fries were just right in terms of the crispiness, not too soft, and lightly seasoned (could have used a few more, but it was an alright size); and the cheesecake was so rich and creamy. The service was also great -- our waiter (J'Vaughn) was on top of things, was professional, and made sure all of us were taken care of.
