Fantastic Jason's Deli! The restaurant was spotless! The friendly and patient MOD took our order. We sampled a variety of food and, of course, included the salad bar. I took a risk ordering the gumbo since I'm very particular about my cultural dishes served at restaurants but I was impressed. The salad bar items were all fresh and flavorful and the area was well organized and clean, which is always reassuring when eating from a buffet. Kudos to the MOD and staff. I highly recommend to travelers and shoppers in the area looking for a place to eat. They wouldn't have to put in as much effort to outshine neighboring restaurants since there are horrifying reviews, but they clearly go above and beyond regardless. read more

I ordered the dill pickle paste salad which was honestly gross and went in the trash. I should have gotten the Italian pasta salad and not tried to get something unique. I also got the potato salad which was good. I got the "chocolate mousse" for dessert, but that also went in the trash. It was super thick, almost a frosting consistency, and the flavor was mediocre. Not worth it. Also got a sandwich which was fine, but nothing special- could have gotten the same type of sub at a Jersey Mike's. Also tried chicken bowl. It didn't have much flavor and the cheese didn't seem fresh, but it was edible. For the prices and fact that there are so many OTHER places to eat (many with similar items), I wouldn't go back, but the food is fine. I usually love Jasons Deli, but I don't think I can eat here anymore. I ordered a chef salad and put in the notes make it gluten free (because I have an allergy, not a preference). As I was eating this salad and mixing it up, there was a pasta noodle in the salad. Stopped here after shopping at IKEA in Charlotte. I got the manager special with broccoli and cheese soup and half of a Reuben sandwich. The broccoli and cheese soup was out of this world! Very flavorful. The Reuben was good and hot however I would've liked the bread to be a little more toasted. Tea was delicious and the people could not have been nicer. PS parents - they give you free ice cream with your meal. I did not get the salad bar, but it looked amazing! Everything on it looked incredibly fresh and it was a serve yourself as opposed to other restaurants that started making your salad after Covid. I'll definitely be back. read more

Had lunch yesterday and it was a very good experience. I love their manager specials (half sandwich/ soup). It's the best of both worlds and perfect portions. I had the Bigger Better BLT and the fresh cracked egg was cooked perfectly which made the sandwich all that more special. I also had the fire roasted tortilla soup which was awesome as always. The temperature of the soup was hot as I like it. The inside of the place was very clean and inviting. We finished with the free soft serve in a cone. This is a great goto place for lunch! read more

You know how sometimes you get food to "eat-in" and it's wonderful but then when you get it "to-go" it's not the same? Not that way today!! I wanted a plain potato with my fixins on the side so I could reheat the potato and put them on when I got home, and that's exactly what I got! It's consistent! Walked in and noticed trash immediately on a couple tables, but figured someone had just left so no biggie. I was greeted by friendly staff at the register and I decided on the salmon sandwich. I go to find a seat and noticed a lot of tables had crumbs on them. The place wasn't crowded and seemed like more than enough workers behind the counter that someone could have came out to tidy up a bit. Nevertheless I found a decently clean table, waited on my food. The sandwich was ok, didn't have much flavor. I wouldn't order again. This is a great sandwich spot for a quick filling lunch. My go to is the chicken panini...the crunch in every bite is what really does it for me. Now let me tell you about that potato salad... it's amazing! You can't eat everybody's potato salad now...but this one?? It's a go! I love Ikea Blvd Jason's Deli. The staff here are top notch, I sat in my car trying to figure out what I wanted for lunch. I go inside, still not sure what to get, Tracy (the manager) makes a grilled chicken carbonara for me, no mushrooms add spinach. Now that's top notch! I know it's a crapshoot when you DoorDash and I've received excellent salads, but the majority of time I receive subpar salads from Jason this time was the worst of all the ingredients must not have come off of the salad bar because everything seemed old. The bread was ROCK HARD and inedible. They got our order mostly correct but not entirely. Almost everything on the salad bar was rotting and sitting in dark liquid (even the muffins...).
