I have never had a problem with this location. I almost always pick up a mobile order however, I went in today at four and I could see my order ready with my name on it and they had somebody behind the counter standing there next to it and I tried to tell her my name and she told me that she couldn't. I personally think if you're not working, you shouldn't be standing behind the counter. Then the lady behind the counter who was working with her I guess gave me an attitude for saying that I can see my name because she wouldn't stop what she's doing to hand me my order, even though the other order was not complete yet. I had just worked 10 hours and all I wanted was some good food not an attitude or to wait for my food that was already complete especially when I have a 25 minute drive home. read more

Before leaving work I viewed the menu. The chili looked very appetizing. Description said chunky with beef, beef and more beef. I was excited ro have chunky chili as im tired of watery skyline. Stopped in and placed my order. Expressionless young lady brought it to my table. It literally had the watery consistency of skyline with minced ground beef and 0 chunk. I mentioned that to her and she replied "yeah it's pretty watery " I said I guess I'll try something else. Went backto the counter. I pulled up the menu on my phone and read the description to her. I stopped in for lunch on Thursday and thought it was pretty good. My daughter ordered the Grilled Chicken sandwich, I ordered the Veggie sandwich and we both had a side of chips. The sandwiches were fresh and tasted good. I think I enjoyed my veggie sandwich a bit more than my daughter enjoyed the chicken sandwich. It is Customer Service Appreciation day. The Finance team (myself above others) finds our support from Customer Service extremely valuable. It is time to show my appreciation with lunch. McAlister's is the agreed upon spot. When I order for delivery, they give me a window (11:15-11:45). I always see them come in at the early end. Today, they arrived at 11:10. The sandwiches were great. Everyone had enough. The deserts were the best. I thought 1 tray might be a little light, so I ordered 2. It was more than enough. We have left over for dessert this afternoon. I love the catering business here. It is great. Had I known I would get $20 off if I ordered $200, I would have added $15 to the order. read more

A consistently good experience can be had here. We have stopped by the West Chester location a few times and have always been pleased with the food quality, the cleanliness and the personnel. And I am particularly fond of their iced tea! you can go to the counter to order or place an order on the app from your table. I went to McAlisters tonight and was greeted by Shell. She was a fantastic service person. After I ordered she noticed I added my chili to my spud and she informed me that next time i come in she could save me money by having them add to my spud order. She even went to tell me how much it would save me. Upon getting ready to leave, Mike, the general manager made a point to come out and greet me, introduce himself, and have a great discussion about travels. You don't get the personal side of folks often and it was an incredible experience. Thank you Mike and team for creating such a welcoming environment along with the best tea in the industry. My first day in Cincinnati and I didn't know where to eat or where to go. Downloaded UberEats and ordered from here. It is SOOOO delicious. The sandwich is so yummy. My first taste of Cincinnati and I am NOT disappointed. Will probably order from here the next four days while I'm in town. The King Club is a must!! Ordered the McAlister's Club wrap for lunch tmrw but I already took a bite of it and it's also YUM! Also ordered the Savannah Chopped salad for a snack later. Took a bite of that too. YUM AGAIN! Fairly basic food that slightly lacking in flavor but not terrible. This is one of those like suburban people deli chains that I don't quite understand personally. The food is traditional I think and gives people a bit of comfort and getting the same old same old. The interior is fine feels a little cheap and outdated but not terrible. The staff at this location were pretty nice. They were helpful and recommended some food and I appreciated their demeanor. Overall I could see hitting the spot for a business lunch or just when you're wanting something very standard. Otherwise I would say there are a lot of other good options for the adventurous foodie. read more

I have been eating at various McAlister's Delis for years now and been at this particular one a few times. The food and service here have been inconsistent and mediocre at best. Apparently have had some management turnover at this site, but I've but unimpressed with what I've seen of late. Skip this particular one and go somewhere else in the area. I understand and expect there to be delays when ordering during lunch. To be told your to-go order you purposely showed up a few minutes late to pick up is no ready because a $300 order was prioritized is unacceptable! There were at least 5 individuals waiting on orders that were pushed back for this one major order. Yes I received a free tea. But I waited 30 minutes for an order the staff couldn't pull up in the system initially. Also didn't get my pickle with my sandwich, utensils and napkins were left out and incorrect salad dressing was provided. I'm thinking my time and getting what I ordered outweighs that one free tea. With a vast amount of lunch options in the Blue Ash area I don't think I'll be frequenting this location any longer. read more

I always forget about this location in Blue Ash! This restaurant is almost located in an office park. It might look like there's not much parking, but if you go around the back, you should be able to find a spot. I'm met my grandma after the lunch rush at 1 o'clock on a weekday. I am glad that we waited until 1 o'clock, as we were able to find an open table easily. Since this restaurant is so close to all the offices in the area, know that if you go during the lunch rush, you will probably be waiting for a table. I opted to try something new. I ended up getting a choose two of a turkey with avocado sandwich and their side salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing. It was great! I finished the meal and was not completely stuffed but perfectly full. I ended up grabbing a cookie on the way out, as it was the perfect ending to a nice lunch. The manager on duty was so sweet, as I was deciding what cookie to purchase, he told me to grab a cookie on him. Very sweet of him! I ended up getting an additional one for my mom and grandma-- but it was very nice of him to give me one complementary cookie. Have you ever had their Arnold Palmer? I did a mix of their unsweet and sweet tea, and it was delicious! I'm a huge fan of McAlisters-- it was a nice adventure to try something new at a different location than normal. Got here at noon on a Sunday. Already out of "spuds"!!! The order a bread bowl w/soup...they don't do bread bowls. The floor by the fountain drinks was so sticky it almost pulled my tennis shoe off. Also saw several orders mixed up. Our orders were also so wrong! And soup was cold. I hope they are just having a bad day. Good thing we are just passing through. My husband and I recently had a terrible experience with this location, which is a shame, since we typically enjoy McAlister's. I ordered online and my husband picked up the food on his way home from work. When he got home, we were missing 3 items. Our order wasn't large, so this was a pretty big dent in the order. My husband called 3 times and each time the worker acted like they couldn't hear him. He checked his earphones and car to make sure that the Bluetooth wasn't connected and routing improperly... it wasn't. We tested his phone later and it worked just fine. I then called and was told that I would be put on hold to speak with a manager. I did not ask to speak with this manager. It seemed like the "hold" was just the worker putting the phone down on the counter because for the next 15 minutes I heard a lot of background noise and general work flow with no attempt to pick up the phone. I finally hung up because the food I did have was now cold and starting to congeal. Not a great experience. Will not return to this location. The Kenwood location has historically been more reliable for us - we'll go there. read more

My first McAlister's experience went so-so. Full disclosure, I've looked at the menu dozens of times but nothing has ever moved me enough to come here until my co-worker suggested it for lunch. It's close by, easy to get to, and has parking which is a plus. I order a "spud" that I think was called an Ole spud along with a half sandwich and a lemonade tea. My colleague ordered a half spud and salad. Her food came out about 2 minutes after we'd down and for some reason mine took a full 10 minutes to arrive (after I had to ask someone to check on it). I was pretty disappointed to have waited so long for a plate that looked kinda pathetic. The sandwich was literally two pieces of bread, very thin strips of chicken, and I guess there was some cheese in there. That was it. I was super disappointed. Potato was ok but nothing spectacular (or visually appealing). My sweet tea wasn't very sweet and it tasted mostly like lemonade. I'm not going to write this place off. It was very busy when we arrived and you do get a pretty decent amount of food if you choose the pick two option. I will give it another chance but I'm still a little skeptical. read more

Everyone talks about how great McAllister's is but I never eat lunch in Blue Ash! Right before thanksgiving break, I dragged my daughter there for a lunch date. Love that it's casual and that the menu is focused. Lots of seating which is necessary in Blue Ash. I ordered nachos and my daughter ordered 1/2 reuben and 1/2 potato. My daughter's potato (1/2!) was still crazy huge - she loved it and her sandwich. My nachos? THE PERFECT NACHOS. Yep, stop looking - every component that should be on a nacho was on these nachos! Plus, they were super affordable. Our bill, for a fabulous meal was under $20. And the bonus? They really do have amazing iced tea! We'll be back. read more

Headed to McAlister's Deli today for dinner. Line was very short, and the staff was friendly. Restaurant was very clean and had lots of open seats to choose from. I ordered the French Dip which was about 8 inches in side which came with one side for about $8.99. The meal was fresh and had lots of flavor. I also order a drink which came in a huge cup which is always good for a time home refill. Lastly, you must try their chocolate chip cookies. They are to die for! Very fresh and soft. I enjoy eating here but the lines can get pretty long at lunch time. To go orders are hit and miss. Sometimes you can get get in and out quickly other times you wait just as long in the to go/pick up line as you would if walked in and ordered. A ton of choices from sandwiches to baked potatoes. Prices are worth the quantity of food you get. Service can be spotty, but nothing to whine about. read more

I am choosing to come in and order so I can ensure I get what I asked for but after the lengthy wait and a baby in my arms I trusted the male manager who was bagging it to get it right. My mistake for sure! I'm going to take a break from you bland dry food and give another restaurant my $10 a day for lunch. If you really want McCallister's go to the one by Kenwood. I want to rave about McAllister's but it's pretty hit or miss. I've been to this one several times and while they are always quick (making it great for a work lunch), it's not always the highest quality. My co-workers and I really only go there when we are in a rush or are over all the other options in the area since our office is just on the other side of Reed Hartman. Their sweet tea is the best thing--I get half sweet, half unsweet. I will say that their sandwiches are usually pretty good but any meat that comes on salads will be cold and gross. read more

Had to go back out to the car to get my phone to show the order number. They found it. Waited about 5 minutes. Had to remind them that I ordered a drink. My wife and I arrived at 2:10, and became immediately aware that the staff wasn't interested in serving any customers so late in the evening. Not one of the multiple staff members we saw greeted us, but let out loud, exaggerated sighs when we approached the counter. I addressed the cashier three times before receiving a begrudged nod indicating that, though he was quite engaged staring at the wall, he was listening to me. Went with my brother. We are both in our mid-20s but often get mistaken for teenagers (relevant). Neither of us had ever been to a McAlister's before so didn't really know what to expect. After being served our food we ordered at the counter, we notice these waitress like persons walking around, asking the tables around us if they needed anything else, a drink refill, etc. We even saw what we thought to be a manger do the same. ...no one came to our table the entire time to ask how we were doing or ask if we wanted refills... Most of the other tables were families or older couples/friends. I think this bothered me more than it usually would because we realized we didn't get something we had ordered and already paid for. We tried to get the attention of the "waitresses" passing by to no avail. There was too much of a line to wait and ask one of the cashiers, and we had to be somewhere. Overall, we enjoyed the food and it was fast. However, as self supporting adults we felt it a bit ridiculous to be ignored, seemingly, because we looked so young. read more
