Not my cup of tea. I ordered a club and a side of tomato bisque. The cashier advised that the soup was $2 extra which I was fine with but when it was served the soup was no bigger then a small coffee mug of soup and was charged $3.09 for it. So I paid full price and never got the advertised side that comes with the sandwich. Super salty and definitely not what is traditionally considered a bisque. Also, the bread on the club is extremely too thin and dry. Probably explains why there is 3 layers of bread. The meat in it was fresh though so that was cool. My salad is fantastic. Nice portions of chicken. Not enough dressing in the togo cup though, maybe ask for a second. The turkey club was puny, for almost nine dollars, it is ridiculously overpriced for two ounces, if that, of turkey, and one slice if bacon, cut up. Plenty of lettuce though! The kids' french bread pizza was a great bargain, however. $2.89 and came with a fruit cup. If your kid is really picky, I would ask for them to skip the seasoning. Got the chef salad tonight. It was mostly a bowl full of lettuce. There were some tomato's and cucumbers that weren't even peeled. Oh and a few slices of really thin lunch meat. They were generous in adding in even the ends of the tomato's....you know the stuff you normally cut off and toss? My husbands sandwich had more meat on it than this chef salad. When I got it home, I added onion, cheese, olives, and more meat, as well as Italian dressing. (They didn't have any.). Next time I'll just make my own and not bother to waste money on a bowl full of lettuce. read more

Well. We love the idea of McAlisters. There was one where we used to live. We keep coming to this location in hopes that it will be better than decent and half as good as the one we used to visit. Now there are four signs on the way in about being short staffed and for us to be patient and on the other side, there are four more signs about how they are out of a lot of items and be patient. There's a few more signs for hiring parties. The person that waited on us was polite and knew what he was doing. That is different from the last few times. The staff they had working the front seems kind and knew what they were doing. They appeared to be young, like teenagers, like my own children so I really tried to be patient and kind because I would not want someone yelling at my children at work. Despite the staff being kind, the food was bland. The tea was decent. It hasn't been in the past. I think we have finally stopped trying to put McAlisters, at this one, on a pedestal. I hope they get their supplies in and the help they need. I wish them the best but I don't think we will be back. read more

If your into bland, tasteless food and like being treated like an unwanted guest...this is your place. Walked in to grab a to-go order about half an hour before they closed. We were met with a young man standing behind the counter waving his arms and yelling "NO! NO! NO!". We were confused at first, was he speaking to us? He was. You see, he apparently wanted to close early. He locked the door after we entered. Well before closing time. He was the manager...We would have left but were tired & hungry. The ruben was good. The soup was cold. The service was fast and friendly. The biggest turn off was sitting around tables with chairs stacked on them and the staff doing their closing duties. You will not be able to relax and enjoy your meal with this activity going on.!! You can not help but feel rushed. The excuse that the manager wants to get the minor employees out in time is a lame reason to spoil paying guests atmosphere and relaxation. Enjoyed a meal with extended family where we all had two halves of entrees. The salads are always fresh, and I love the Savannah salad with the sherry dressing -- and their sandwiches are always hot and delicious. My beef and cheddar was awesome with carmelized onions. Service was good, other than you have to go get your drink refills, but that's normal for McAllister's. Nice young men helped us today. We got this to go. I would try it next time there bc I did reheat my lunch when I got home but that isn't bc of them. I don't recommend the mash potatoes, their fake and taste awful, the Mac and cheese lacked flavor. Now for the sandwiches all I can say is amazing and huge! I eat here frequently and just had a terrible experience and caught them lieing. I had a custom sandwich and it came out incorrect. I told the sever they needed to remake the sandwich. He came back in 2 minutes and I asked if if it was remade and he said yes but on inspection it was clear they took the bad part off and did not remade the sandwich. This isn't really a deli, a quick service and you have to order at a counter. The cashier was not engaging and not at all friendly, didn't seem to know how to smile. I had a cup of Country Potato soup, not enough ingredients and it was served with the sandwich. It was not hot enough. McAlister's has a lot of options to suite the entire family. They offer soups, salads, baked potatoes, sandwiches, a kids menu, desserts and coffee! I was quite surprised, but their coffee was rather good considering that they are not a coffee shop. There are plenty of options for vegetarians and a few items that can be altered for a vegan diet. The restaurant is a walk-up-to-order and has self seating. There are some semi -private seating areas for smaller groups that are blocked off to feel more private, but there is also available seating for larger groups. I went with a group of 8 and we were able to find seating right away. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch, but they have plenty of options for dinner as well. My wife went to the bathroom and it was a guy cleaning it and he would not get out while she use the bathroom. When we ordered one of the cashier said just to let you know we're closing in 10 minutes. The macaroni and cheese was cold. I ordered the French dip after I ordered it and sat down to eat, they brought the food with no aus ju. I asked if it came with it and she said yes and went to get it. The cashier at the end was horrible, I did not want a big sandwich but she insisted I could only get the Reuben minus the sauerkraut or a New Yorker, in order to have corned beef. Obviously she was new and inexperienced. However one of the 6 other team members who were just standing around should have jumped in. There was no manager present either. I have been here numerous times and have enjoyed every sandwich I have ordered. My favorite is the club with my side of mac n cheese. I agree the prices are a little up there but the quality of the food reflects the higher cost. I have not tried their baked potato but plan to on future visits. Also recommend the Memphian. Just moved here and saw it during the move. Checked it out today with my two young boys. Fast and very friendly staff. I got the King Club and it was so fresh and flavorful. Also the Potato Soup. This location in particular is so clean and I've always been met with really courteous people- which is important to me. I love the different spuds- they never disappoint. McAlister's just opened, with that in mind, I thought the service was great. I waited a bit for my food, but I was expecting that judging on how full the restaurant was. I ordered a pick 2, the Ruben and the Veggie chili. Ruben was tasty, was it the best Ruben I have had, no, but it was tasty. The veggie chili was awesome, I wish I had ordered a bowl of it.
