I think the food is ok , to call it deli is a bit of a stretch .. the costs are ridiculous.

The pastrami, the rye bread (specially made for them) and the potato salad were excellent. I was glad to have ordered the 1/2 sandwich as it was quite enough with the potato salad. The crew is great, and so friendly. Props to Marilyn. Lucky Louisville. 100.

There is a large menu board as you walk in the side door (the deli is located in the back of Dittos restaurant). They primary have soups salads and sandwiches and daily soup specials. You order at the counter, pay for your order, get your drink at the beverage area and have a seat. They will then bring your order to your table. We both opted for the pick two combo. I had a half ruben sandwich and a bowl of white chili. Both were excellent. A huge half sandwich and a large hearty bowl of white chili. The chili was flavorful but not spicy. It had lots of shredded chicken, beans and corn (which could have been left out in my opinion). My friend had the chicken salad sandwich and the white chili and said her sandwich was good, also a very large. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, parking on the side and in the back of the building. I had not been for years but it was a good choice for a late lunch.

The food - A lot of variety of sandwiches to choose from. My Turkey sandwich was packed with meat that overwhelmed the regular slices of bread. I had to add to it to bring flavor to it and would recommend adding thicker slices of bread to it. The baked were good. Loved the variety of fruit options, frozen items, fresh meat, and other things to try out. Garden section - Didn't know this existed in here. A variety of plants and flowers to choose from. Customer service- It was top notch from the counter and front store cashiers. Everyone was nice and on point. They kept lines moving which I appreciated too. So this is on my store rotation to try new things here!

We arrived at the front of the line, and the line remained out the door. We ordered a corned beef on rye and a roast beef on white. We found our new favorite sandwich place. Total was $15.90 paid in cash. The bread was delicious. The meat was delicious. The veggies were fresh. The cheese was flavorful. We'll be back on a Thursday for the ribeye sandwich. We'll be back for the burger, the pork chop, and the ribs. There is a menu full of items we want to try because the deli sandwich was great. Highly recommend!

Best thing on the plate was the sausage patties, followed by the eggs. Both solid. Toast cold and bread from a bag (not fresh from the bakery). I selected toast because the biscuits were not made there. Should have known. Soggy hash browns, water tasted funny, like chemicals, which mixed with mediocre coffee made for an undrinkable combination. No option for real maple syrup, which I gladly pay for to avoid the fake stuff and the bad stuff in it. My wife ate there before and had a solid meal, which is why we tried it today, so there may have been temporary misses. I might return to try a breakfast sandwich, but I can't give this place more than 3 stars. Very average, even for this area.
