The McAlister's in Creve Coeur simply cannot get a web or phone order right. Save yourself the frustration and DO NOT order from this location. There are plenty of other places in Creve Coeur that value their customers and can prepare an order correctly. Out of my last six pick up orders, every single one has been wrong in some way. When I spoke with the manager, they said they were new and would speak with the kitchen staff, but nothing changed. At this point, it feels like this McAlister's doesn't prioritize accuracy, training, or customer experience. This location needs serious improvement--or to make way for a place that actually values its customers and takes the time to get orders right. read more

I visited on a weekday early evening for dinner. There were ample parking spots available. There are disabled spots right in front with a ramp to access the building. Doordashed this time and the process went well. We ordered a King Club, a French Dip sandwich, and a Smokey Pepper Jack Turkey sandwich. All with pickles. Selected two Potato Salads and a Mac and Cheese as sides. The Club and Turkey were outstanding. Lots of stuff in them, and very flavorful. The French Dip was loaded, but the beef didn't have much flavor, and the au jus tasted more like bouillon than broth. The Mac and Cheese was very creamy and had an excellent texture. The Potato Salads were very good also. We'd order both again. I guess two winners out of three ain't bad - will try something else next time. read more

I understand they are known for sandwiches but I don't eat bread. The veggies in the salad were so squishy and the cucumber was very discolored, barely any chicken. This could be the slowest place in the history of restaurants. Often times when you arrive someone is behind the counter and doesn't even acknowledge you for literal min or two before asking you to come to the counter. The food is decent which is why I gave it 2 stars but it will take over 20+ mins to get it even when the restaurant is empty. They constantly get the order incorrect and are unapologetic when approached about any of the issues you WILL have visiting this location. They can not hide behind the "this is the best we can do because of Covid" excuses either as they have been this way well before Covid hit. For casual quick eats I do like McAlister's, they have a nice big menu for different choices of spuds, soups , salads, sandwiches. If I'm craving a fancy spud or just a baked potato in general I'll come here. This is my go to spot for lunch. They're a good value and always has pretty quick service. I feel like there is something for everyone. Their roast beef with au ju and southwest spicy chicken sandwiches are my fave. I usually get the house salad which is good yet simple. If you want a fancy salad this is probably not the place but theirs does the job. Plenty of seating, quick service, several locations makes this a go to spot when out running errands. read more

Every time I have come to this specific location, one or two salads always takes 45 minutes or more. Previously I've gone inside and order at the counter, took my seat and waited nearly an hour for two salads. Today I'm sitting in curbside. I ordered at 2:45 PM, so not during a lunch rush. The app says my order should have been ready by 3:17 PM by 3:25 PM, I called and The woman who answered didn't know anything about the order yet. This is a very regular place. But I find this place very cute due to its tiny plaid curtains. The menu is standard with most delis but they do really make good sandwiches and spuds.! I love their carrot cake and chocolate cake as well.! Fairly quick service and a lot of seating space. read more
