McA as I referred to it now was phenomenal. I order the chicken club with Cheddar cheese, chicken tortilla soup and an Arnold Palmer to eas it all down. Wifey got the turkey club and my brother in law got the Reuben sandwich. The Reuben as packed with so much meat. The other 2 sandwiches were delicious but small and tasty. The chicken tortilla was zesty and refreshing. I like McMaster set up. You can either order when you enter or go directly go to your table and scan the QR code and order table side. I even down loaded the Mcalister's to get free tea on my next visit. Also, you can a free refill on the ice tea!

Good but more like a sandwich shop not like the real deli we are accustomed to in NYS.

The take out order was good. However, they advertised it was Free Tea Day, yet I was charged full price. Disappointing.

Others in our group got shawarma sandwiches and spinach pies, and everyone was raving about their food. We wrapped up with a baklava sampler for dessert, which was the perfect ending. The food alone would've made the night, but our waiter really took it to another level. He was warm, personable, and clearly remembered my grandparents from past visits. He greeted them like old friends and was genuinely helpful throughout the meal, steering us toward dishes we'd love based on what we were in the mood for. That kind of attentive, personal service is hard to come by. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great Mediterranean/Middle Eastern meal with excellent service to match. Let me first say there…read moreare not any fun and well done gastropubs in Gainesville, and this restaurant certainly stands to prove that point. Stereotypical decor and menu, Grains and Grog stood painfully empty on a Saturday afternoon playing music nostalgic to anyone who graduated high school before 2010. I ordered a Manhattan. Hallway through, looking down at the bottom of the glass, I saw two tiny flies floating at the bottom. As disgusted as one can reasonably be, I asked for another one to be made (why I bothered, I can't say. Maybe it was because I had already drank half). I found another small fly in the second before the server left the table. Another fly in the third as well. We didn't finish our meals for obvious reasons. They brought us the check, discounted the manhattans and 50% the check, though I didn't feel I should have paid anything. After paying the check, they said it was a mistake. They brought us the wrong one and would void the sale. The "correct" check they brought us was the full meal sans the 3 botched manhattans. We won't be going back

Omg so many thoughts on this experience…read more I'm so glad i didn't immediately know it was a restaurant located in a hotel. This prob would have deterred me, even a little bit. The Apple map directions here confused me a little due to this, but parking was really plentiful so that's a huge plus! I went on a Sunday morning and lo and behold there was a hole farmers market or pop up set up all through haymarket! Busy weekend for a brunch but haymarket is SUCH a cute little vibe and town with so many hidden gems, like this one!! Literally every single item I saw waiters bring out from the kitchen looked so scrumptious, every person around us immediately began digging in and enjoying their meals...and honestly, no crumbs were left behind pretty much every time. We started ordering a yummy cocktail. I was really in the mood for the Paloma with grapefruit juice but sadly they were out of grapefruit juice fortunately, they had plenty cocktails available that were not explicitly on the menu! I ended up having a delicious espresso martini, prepared, right and honestly, I would have had another!! Not too sweet. Not creamy. And with 3 beans. Impeccable no notes. I ordered the red House breakfast. Man those home potatoes were so delicious....they clearly cooked them seasoned deliciously and then flash fried, so crunchy!!!! Amazing. I found that their execution on their meals was really impressive. My sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly and paired so yummy with the toast. The bacon had delicious flavor too. I ordered a biscuit because I had heard that their biscuits were really yummy but unfortunately they did not have their bacon biscuit so it was just a classic biscuit. It was good, certainly dense and clearly homemade. My girlfriend got the poutine. Looked so delicious and was really enjoyed! The gravy was thick and flavorful! We sat down and enjoyed plenty of conversation and a really nice environment. Nobody rushed us, service was just the right amount of attentive without interrupting conversation constantly, and the floor to ceiling windows let in beautiful natural light and views of the town. It was the perfect brunch spot for a low-key, but delicious meal. Just a hair out of the way without being too far. I came out with a really good friend of mine to celebrate my one year wedding anniversary with her and it was the perfect possible location. Shout out to the staff for being so welcoming and kind, and even taking a picture of us when we asked to commemorate the occasion. I'm sure they are used to people walking in to the hotel lobby looking as confused as I was looking for red House Tavern.

The food was average at best when it came out. Super disappointed. We came here for my mom's 5 year beating cancer anniversary and it wasn't much of a celebration.

Price vs experience…read more For a 2 egg omelette, I spent almost $20, which did come with a generous fruit serving. Flavors were good but with a walk up dining experience price feels high, almost double from photos here on yelp. The experience, it was 58° outside but they had their ac on full blast, so cold I had to grab a jacket. The espresso machine was broken, so no coffee for me, would have gotten a tea, but didn't feel like paying the $6.29 for just tea from their disorganized kitchen. Broken furniture and the floors were dirty. Sorry guys, missed it for me.

The drink is really good cold, but once it became room temp, the honey overpowers the drink, so def have it cold. The breakfast burrito is really tasty but I think it would be a thousand times better with potatoes instead of beans. The beans don't really go with the sausage, egg, and cheese. Or at least give the option to substitute it with potatoes. My wife got the Gable (turkey bacon, egg whites, brie, plum chutney, spinach on focaccia panini) and it was really good. I took a bite of it and enjoyed it more than my burrito. The home fries were also solid. The people working were pretty nice and the inside is decorated well. They had fresh flowers on the tables which is something I appreciated. Really ties in the room.
