I normally love this location!! The staff is sweet and very accommodating. But today I got my salad to go and was so disappointed. I had looked so forward to my grilled chicken Caesar salad. When I opened it it was yellow and 70% of it was the hard end pieces. I ended up throwing away majority of the salad. Let me start off by saying I love McAlister's! This location however does not operate with the same level of service and quality of others. The 3 times I have been to this location my order had been messed up. Front a burnt sandwich, to frozen cheese on a sandwich and my most frequent trip, which will also be my last, was a to go order of bread bowl and soup. When I arrived back at my office with my food, there was no bread bowl and a 3/4 full bowl of soup. This was hardly what I had paid for. The first time I thought it was because it was a new location with new staff but now, I think they just simply are not thorough and don't care about their level of customer satisfaction. Food is usually pretty good, however, I think there's a lack on the training. There is literally only 1 girl that works the registers that is nice. All the other people act like you are bothering them by placing an order. The younger girl who took my order today, brunette with her hair in a bun did not even look at me when talking and said nothing after handing me my receipt. Though, I think this also has to do with management. I've heard managers openly correcting employees in front of me, the customer. Which is a big no no. Do that in private. Also, the female manager with glasses is SUPER rude. Any exchanges I have with her, she is always short and also never looks at me when talking. I am a huge fan of McAlister, but this particular location has very poor customer service. I typically frequent this restaurant for lunch. There is usually a large lunch crowd which isn't my issue because I usually order my lunch for pick up and I avoid the peak times. My issue is with the cashiers/ associates. On several occasions, I've been waiting and the associate (same Hispanic lady both times) doesn't ask to assist the next person in line. On one occasion, I looked her directly in the eyes and stated that I was picking up an order. She turned and assist someone who came after me that walked around me and proceeded to her register or side of the counter. Very frustrating! In addition, there have been several times when there is a crowd of customers waiting and one cashier taking orders and their are other cashiers standing/looking that could be assisting and taking orders. I purchased Savannah yesterday and it was terrible! Chicken was old and had a weird taste and the lettuce was brown and limp!! It appeared it had been sitting in the refrigerator for a few days! I picked up or I would have returned it!! Not planning to go back! For $9 it should have been made fresh!! read more

As a former McAlisters Deli employee at another location, this location is great. Although I've never been when its super busy, the employees there are great and service is exceptional. In particular an employee named Zach. He's always been very helpful and courteous each time we've visited. I love McAlister's brand, and this store meets the standard in my book! read more

Staying in a hotel, one grows tired of fast food. McAlister's is a great alternative. Their baked potatoes come with meat, so it is more like a delicious meal, than a burger and fries. Their sweet tea is always perfect, and my husband loves the club. One of my favorite places to get a baked potato. read more

The food is great but the customer service is terrible. The girls working behind the counter never have a smile, stare at you rather than asking how I could help you, and you never know when you're finished ordering because they'll continue to stare blankly at you. When they misunderstood my order, I got a "huh?" instead of an "excuse me". After that, she walked away without giving me my drink. I try to avoid this location if I can. read more

One star for the customer service here. We visited this location for a nice lunch experience, with my partner's service dog present. The dog was (as always) well-behaved and respectful, but apparently a customer presented their personal opinion that this was not a "real" service animal (despite her clearly labelled collar). The manager approached the table to ask if she was, in fact, a service animal. We told her that yes, she is. The manager proceeded to crouch down and reach under the table to put her hands on the dog, claiming, "I just need to see proof." Despite the dog being completely in our control, in our reach, where we could easily show her identification ourselves, this manager felt it was necessary to grope the animal herself, looking for her "proof". Lo and behold, only upon seeing the dog's service tag, and AFTER my partner showed his own medical ID, did she step away, agreeing that we were telling the truth. It was horribly insulting, besides being illegal. read more

This is not a review of the food but the attitude of the Owner. Today is a miserable day extremely cold and wet. I tried for several minutes to place a carry-out order. No one picked up the phone, so I drove over got there. When I got there I asked were the not taking call-in orders, the owner stated that they were , I was like I tried, but no answer. He then asked what did I want to order, not so much a sorry. He just dismissed my statement. I made the statement about no sorry. He was like ok. then walked away. At this point I am getting the impression he does not care about me being a customer. I explained that I would rather not do business with him, I choose who I spend my money with, He stated I can spend my money with who I want. At this point I know he does not care about the customer. I got my money and left. So many time we take poor customer service and pay for it. I am not spending money with a business that does not care how they treat me. read more

On January 31st, 2017 at 5:42 pm. I purchased a meal online for pick up. When I went to pick up the meal the lady behind the counter stated my card was declined. I showed her a copy of my bank transaction to where the money was taken out and she insisted loudly in front of everyone that my card was declined. Then she called over a manager who then began speaking of my transaction loudly as well. I felt ganged up on and there was no effort made for understanding on my end. It was more of attitude and actually seemed like there was some personal bias there. My first response to the problem was okay run my card again however the clerk hesitated and wanted to continue discussing the supposed declined transaction. I continued to insist to run the card again and the manager continued to discuss the declination. Loudly in front of everyone. I turned around and people were laughing at me. I did notice that (even if) my card declined the transaction, that my meal was prepared and behind the counter ready for pick up anyways. Why prepare it if it never went through? They both insisted my card was declined, ran my card again and it went through. Well here it is I have 2 transactions that indicate my card was never declined in the first place a total of 30 bucks for 1 sandwich I felt as though the clerk and the manager were trying to humiliate me intentionally. I didn't know I would receive a hard time just for purchasing a sandwich. I live close by and I got to know McAllisters, as the job I work for purchases catering from there. I was so upset I spoke with our coordinator and we will not be purchasing from them again. Im still working to get my 15 bucks back. The chicken salad is great but not worth the trouble of being humiliated for. read more
