Lunch today on Jan. 1st. We had 4 adults and 3 children. The ladies who manage the restaurant are the best. They are very attentive and want each customer to have a good experience and meal. My wife had the French Dip and it was excellent (I had a bite). Friends had the Club and salad- they were very pleased. We received our order for 7 people in 20 minutes. It was all hot and excellent. Consistently average food. Good choices, as fast food goes. The biggest problem with McAlister's is that the entire chain, as a whole, doesn't seem to care about customer input. I've spoken to a manager at this store as well as to Corporate (a number of times), but they just don't care about the customer experience. read more

I've been to McAlister's about 4 times in the last 2 months and have loved everything i've gotten so far! The crew members are extremely friendly and the price is reasonable for what you get. I don't understand how people are comparing this to ''fast food'' because it's not. It's a Deli. read more

Been twice this week, great sandwiches, had the Reuben Sunday and the Memphian yesterday. Had potato salad for my side, best for a restaurant potato salad. My wife had the roast beef spud , get extra au jus with that one read more

I give them one star.... Only because the service was great! The food was horrible. It was overpriced and flavorless. My friend and I stopped in for a late lunch, not wanting to drive all the way to Panera. I wish we had because it costs the same and paled in comparison to Panera. My soul as ok, but only luck warm and my sandwich was mushy and gross. My friend got the tortilla soup.... Don't get it. It was oddly thick and jelly like. We won't be returning. I took two out of town guests to the McAlister's Deli on Memorial in Murfreesboro on 27 Feb 2019 in the evening. The two Ruben sandwiches arrived cold. We requested they be heated up. They brought new ones. These had no Thousand Island and little if any sauerkraut. We found out later the other guest had cold au jus for her sandwich. I was embarrassed as the McAlister's in Texas was great and this one was good several months ago when I stopped by at lunchtime. Apparently the evening staff needs more training before someone gets sick from inadequately prepared food. The manager did comp us two brownies. read more

Well....we come in for a first visit and the woman at the register acted like this was the LAST place on earth she wanted to be. She took our order without hardly speaking then took a girl's tea refill who was standing behind us before finishing with our order. The potato I hot was not hot. The wild berry tea tasted good, but had a huge amount of seeds in the bottom. The nachos had dark guacamole on them. Overall, thumbs down. read more

We've been there many times, and have always appreciated the great food, selections, and welcoming staff. My daughter came to the 'boro from an area known for their deli products. She was surprised that the cornbeef was as good as anywhere. Even an allergy was explained to the manager who checked the bread for anything that would be a problem. A common solution is to have no bread. The manager offered a wrap as a solution. Most traditional deli's don't offer the wrap. Problem solved, the carrot cake is amazing read more

We had lunch here on Wednesday Aug 24, our first experience at this restaurant. Overall it was satisfying and enjoyable. The food was very good, sandwiches and salads, at a price that seemed reasonable. The service was friendly and helpful. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars was because it took too long to get our food. We are definitely going back and are looking forward to trying the baked potatoes and soups, as well as the "Big Nasty" sandwich. read more

This place is absolutely amazing. I visited while I was in town and I will definitely be going back. The staff were very friendly, the food was delicious, and service was incredibly fast. McAllister's Deli is a great concept with delicious menu options. Unfortunately, this is one of the worst locations I've encountered. I recommend steering clear of this establishment, especially if you have high blood pressure. I say this because the only consistencies with McAllister's in the Boro are messed-up orders and a lack of accountability/profession­al management. Time after time, I've given McAllister's "one more chance" because I've loved the food I've been served at other locations. Time after time, I find myself disappointed and regretting the choice to dine there. If you want a frustrating dinner and a messed up order, it may be the place for you. Don't say you weren't warned! On a final note, if your order is wrong, expect no apology and expect to witness an absolute void of customer service. It's not difficult to get little things right, yet after 3 years of dining there, the folks at Murfreesboro McAllister's seem determined to prove that statement wrong. read more

In the past I was never a huge fan of this place, but it's gotten a bit better in the last year or so. Service is okay, when I went this afternoon there were quite a few employees on staff. Prices are reasonable compared to other delis and I've enjoyed most of the food I've had there before. I like their assortment of baked potato options and they've got a wide variety of sandwiches. I got a plain baked potato and the McAlister's club. The club was your average club sandwich and the baked potato was decently sized. This place is almost always cold inside, which is pretty crappy on rainy days like today. Overall, the food is decent and worth the price but it's not something I choose to frequent often. read more

I've been looking for a decent deli sine i moved to Murfreesboro in 2013. Tried Jason's won't return. I had the 1/2 New Yoker and broccoli cheese soup. Food was great and served hot. Server was extremely pleasant and informative once i said it was my first time there. Yes it's not a New York Deli and no matzo ball soup but it was good food and I'll come back and try other options. read more

Ate here on numerous occasions and the food has been amazing. Recently went to eat here and developed Food poisoning from the chicken. I developed diarrhea, aches, vommited the entire meal & serious headche. I knew it was the chicken because my friend had only a little and she felt queezy & it had been the only thing we ate that day. read more
