I had not been to this location (since they've moved from where Big Biscuit now is). I will remedy that. Service was great from ordering to order delivered to table to getting more iced tea. I had half a spicy turkey sandwich and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. The sandwich was amazing . Sometimes the bread is too tough on sandwiches here. This was just perfect. A huge shout out to Kyle who made sure we always had exactly what we needed!! My only complaint is that they did not have a tomato soup on the menu I'll have to check back in. read more

I called in a to go order because I felt like I needed to pick me up since I had literally fallen on ice. Leaving my vets office lol. Their cookies always make me happy. I picked a choose two half Savannah chopped salad and half a savory smoky chicken sandwich and they're amazing Cinnabon cookies. The employees were pleasant on the phone and always so nice in person. Took the opportunity to take The Kid to lunch a few weeks back, and we decided to go to McAlister's Deli. In the spirit of full disclosure, The Kid works here a couple hours a week during school as part of a work studies program. That said, it has nothing to do with my review. I'd shied away from McAlister's for a long time, mainly because I thought it was too "Panera-ish" for my tastes. I'm a meat and potatoes kinda guy, not the foo-foo organic sprouts and field greens on a brioche bun sort. So, I had mistakenly lumped McAlister's into that slot, for reasons totally unknown to me. I do dumb stuff like that now and then. So, shortcut back to the topic... we arrived and placed our orders. The Kid went with the cheese pizza and chips, as is her usual when nachos and taco salads aren't available. For myself, I went with a sandwich with pastrami and corned beef. Can't recall the name, but that's the one, with a side of chips. The Kid had Dr Pepper (it's in her DNA, as with The Wife), and I decided to try the world famous McAlister's Sweet Tea. (Being a southern boy, iced tea is in MY DNA). The food arrived pretty quickly in spite of it being right in the middle of the lunch rush. The Kid's pizza looked suspiciously like a Red Baron personal pan pizza, but she liked it, so that works for me. At least it was priced appropriately for what it was. My sandwich was well done, with a generous amount of meat all around. Too many times I've seen sandwhich shops slap two wafer thin slips of meat and a half pound of lettuce on some bread and serve it, and that annoys the hell out of me. McAlister's did it right. Well toasted and decently sized, it was a good lunch-worthy sandwich. Gotta admit... I wasn't a fan of the sweet tea, it being a little overly sweet for my palate. But I can see where some folks would like it. And the people, every one of them, were great. Friendly and welcoming, from the GM, Katie (who stopped by to say hi to The Kid) down to the guy who brought our food. Now that I know the straight skinny, I plan on adding McAlister's to my lunchtime rotation options. read more

My first time eating at McAlister's and it won't be my last. The restaurant itself was very clean, the wait time very little, the cashier was incredibly helpful and the menu is abundant. My Rueben sandwich was stacked high with corn beef and was served nice and warm. It was delicious!! This location is always so fast when I do an online pickup. My orders are always ready in less than 10 mins. I hope they continue to be this fast. I ordered the Orange cranberry club. It has such a nice sweet sauce that balances the cheese and salt from the meat. I love it! It may look small when cut up like this, I promise you it's not. It's so plentiful. I always pair it with some chips and a half sweet/half unsweetened tea with lemon yum!! But this time, I ordered the mac and cheese so my toddler could enjoy it too. Definitely good Mac and cheese! My favorite go to for soup and sandwich, you can never go wrong With the club & potato soup. My favorite! StAff is always friendly and quick. To go orders are always accurate and ready upon arrival! Snowmagedon hit Owasso Oklahoma. Everything was closed except for McAlister's! This is a deli style restaurant where you order food, then find a seat and wait for someone to bring it to your table. The man taking our order said they were lucky to be open as other locations weren't able to. The dining room has tables marked unavailable in order to allow social distancing and masks are required. Once seated we only waited about 10 minutes for our food. We both got the choose two. Half a sandwich and a cup of soup. The sandwich was decent and had adequate toppings. The tortilla soup was the highlight. It was a perfect temperature and had a little bit of spice. This is restaurant is a great choice when you want something fast but not necessarily fast food. read more

Went into McCallister's Sunday evening to pick up an order I had placed online. As most everyone has said service is very slow. It was a little busy but nothing bad. I waited about 30 mins before showing up and when I picked up the order, they tried charging me again. I had to show and prove I had already paid for it online. Then when I got home and checked my receipt, they for some reason are now charging a service fee! No reason why and can't be because of a recession because they prices have went up on the menu items already. Will not be returning to pay for a "service fee". Too many other choices in Owasso that are not charging extra for nothing! read more

I've been to a few different locations and owasso is probably my hands down fav location. They let me order off the kid menu with no fuss as I cannot eat large portions. Emma took our order and was sooo sweet!! She was super pleasant to everyone before and after we ordered! You can tell she enjoyed her job and the people. I got a 1/2 chicken spud and tomato Cookie just the right amount of chewy and crispy. Soup excellent. Potato - not a lot of chicken but very filling and flavorful. No table service, but also no tipping allowed. The staff are all salaried. For the price, this is an outstanding restaurant. UPDATE: I went back again, today. This time, I had the Pick Two: Southwest salad and the tomato bisque soup. For dessert, I had the carrot cake, which is to die for! Not as good as the broken Arrow branch. Sandwich had barely any meat, and most was hanging out the side. Staff was a little bit short with me when ordering. What I did get meat on the sandwich was good. Salad was OK bit more brown than should be. I will be going to the broken arrow place again but might skip this one in Owasso. Edit: I was contacted by a rep from McAlisters Deli Corporate. They are going to take steps to remedy the issues I had and were really nice. Moving my review up a notch since the company seems actively involved in their customers experience instead of just out for the money like most places. Thumbs up for that! read more

I think this is a local eatery. If not, I was lied to!?!?! Anyhow, the food here is good. Decent, cheap and tasty. It falls in line of half fresh and tasty and half processed deli food. The portions are generous and the food here is worth trying. The sandwiches have good flavor, although everything seemed a bit salty to me. No worries though! You have the ginormous sweet tea drinks that you can have to wash all the salt down. Everyone says this place is famous for the teas...it's pretty good. The past and a hour I asked if my order was ready I was told it was sitting there but no one had let me know, ask for manager he act as if he didn't care at all. Edit: Someone with McAlister's contacted me to make things right, I really appreciated it. Ever since then I have been back and the store has really stepped up their game. I now take my son there on the weekends sometimes. I would recommend this location now, they've fixed the issues and seem to truly care about the customer. I was not at all impressed with this location. I like McAlister's but this location is just not run well at all. When I went in on a Saturday night during dinner time, the workers didn't seem to want to be there with monotone voices and just a look of sheer boredom, it was not an inviting atmosphere and really turned me off from the moment I walked in. Then, I went to place an order, I was craving a nice big spud which they are known for, and they were seriously Out of spuds, during dinner on a Saturday night. I couldn't believe it, that is a clear sign that a place is not being run well, when they run out of one of their signature items before the dinner rush starts on a weekend night. They really only offer a few main items, sandwiches spuds and soups, so to allow one of them to run out is just poor management and kills any trust I would have that they would do other things properly, and the poor management probably has a lot to do with why the employees all looked like they didn't want to be working there at all. read more

I eat salads from McAllister's every week. Thank you for putting the salad in a spill proof container and placing it in a bag every time. When your hands are full with kids and dogs that is appreciated. Unlike two other places in town that I recently got salads from last week #HideawayPizza and #Smittysgarage. No bag, just a small flimsy styrofoam container that popped open in my car and went everywhere. What a mess. From now on will just drive a little farther and go to McAllister's. We go to this McAlisters often. There have been several issues in the past. I ordered online and still had to wait 20 minutes after order should have been been done. They have forgotten side items but I usually have caught before leaving. Today yet again side items were forgotten for all 3 sandwich orders. Then they added pickle spear (as requested) to all but one order. I didn't check order until I was home so I didn't want to go back for side items. Went in this afternoon about 1:45pm. Ordered a plain baked potato with butter and sour cream. The potato came out cold and the sour cream was actually frozen. I ended up taking half home, but had to approach the counter to ask for a box while two workers chatted away. Despite having ample staff I waiting about 15 minutes at the end of my meal for a refill bc only one person was actually working, others saw me but continued about their Merry way of talking with co-workers. It's hard for me to understand when in the restaurant business it is more important to insist on being right, instead of correcting a mistake. This was the case in a recent visit to McAlister's. We had a group of 12, but ordered in several smaller groups. We have found this expedites things here. One person taking our order seemed somehow displeased with us. We modified our dishes some, and that's what caused even more displeasure. A friend ordered her Southwest Salad with no onions. When she was served, it had onion, it also had no avocado. Our unhappy person stated ' This salad comes with onions.' And, 'Do you want more avocado?' When it had none. It really bordered on rudeness. Now, I realize this place is not fine dining, but really??? The young lady who delivered our food was very kind and overwhelmed on her third day of work. I'm not sure if our irritated person was a manager or not. My salad also had no avocado, but by this time, I was afraid to say anything. read more

2 stars because the food was pretty good and they have gluten-free bread. Panera is better, but they don't offer GF breads. The guy at the register was quite rude. My husband leaned up against the counter and it was covered in soda. When I told my hubby, he wiped it off his arm and the guy just looked at us and pretty much rolled his eyes. Like it was our fault there was soda all over HIS counter...where he puts people's drinks. Quite rude. Then the girl that brought our food acted like it was such an inconvenience.
