It did not disappoint! The food was delicious, the prices were great, and the service was top-notch. Portions were large enough that we got a couple of meals out of each plate.

8 oz med rare side of A1 just in case, mashed potatoes with white gravy, fried okra, side salad with ranch, dinner roll with butter.

Ok, this is my second time here. Rainy day called for takeout! This place is so well priced and the food is bomb. Got the 8 oz sirloin (medium rare), it came with a side salad, 2 sides, and a roll. For my sides I chose mashed potatoes and fried okra. The place is clean, great service, and a great menu selection for options that it is actually hard to decide. 10/10 recommend this "Cafe".... They give the hometown vibe, hometown prices, but also wonderful food!!!

First time here and loved it .. very friendly staff and breakfast food (omelettes with home fries and biscuit and gravy and original waffle) were awesome! Thank you for a great experience and will definitely be back ! P.S Patriotic place

They are open. And I like the Blue Plate Café! Are diners making a comeback? I hope so. Although I love the stuff, the explosion of Mexican restaurants is getting out of hand. Chicken strips, and wing vendors are another invasion, too many, especially in Broken Arrow. Welcome the Blue Plate Café, which proclaims to be Broken Arrow's, elite Blue Plate Café! The cafés menu has an expansive variety of American style breakfasts and lunches. Their menu looks good. In addition to the breakfast selection the menu covers soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, classic diner entrées, and daily specials (browse the menu pictures.) And for that unimaginative boring person at the table, chicken tenders. The sandwich, soup and salad section of the menu appealed to me. I can see another visit in the future. Breakfast for me, my standard cafe breakfast challenge; two eggs sunny side up, bacon and hashbrowns (both crisp), biscuit and gravy, and coffee. The meal came to the table quickly after being ordered. It was perfect, on spec, exactly as ordered. Delicious. The coffee, an adequate café brew. The restaurant was well staffed this morning with their new employees in training. We got double friendly attention as the new servers were accompanied with their trainer. The cook was certainly not in training. The food was prepared perfectly! A big tasty breakfast with excellent service. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. The furnishings appeared to be fairly new. The café is attractively decorated with, as you would expect, a café motif of pictures and signs with catchy words of wisdom. Booths and tables are available. The parking lot is roomy with easy access from Kenosha or Elm Pl. Blue Plate Café works for me...I like it!

There is nothing fancy about this location. There are only tables and the chairs are literally cafeteria style chairs. They are not comfortable at all. The staff (Kim) was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. My wife ordered the lemon curd and blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, and crispy bacon. I ordered the Strawberry French Toast, over medium eggs and sausage patties. They serve Coca-Cola products. The service was very prompt and the food quantity was acceptable. My wife's order included 3 good sized pancakes and she said they were delicious. The eggs were done to her approval, and she loved the bacon. The French Toast comes with 3 half slices of bread, topped with 3-4 fresh strawberry halves and drizzled with the strawberry cream cheese icing. The French Toast, although tasting ok, was disappointing that it was not allowed to soak long enough in egg batter and the crust was very tough and hard to cut through with a fork. The eggs were done very well, and the sausage was very flavorful. I had a piece of my wife's bacon and I loved it and will be ordering it next time. Yes, the place has some work to do on appearance and upping their French Toast game, but we will be back to give them another chance on a different menu item as there are so many to choose from.

Took 1 hour to get our food, they told other tables the kitchen was slow today. The food arrived finally and it was cold. My bf got a double bacon cheeseburger, he wanted it medium, it came out well done, and it was super dry, and hard to even swallow; covered it with ketchup to soak it up and it also didn't even have any bacon on it. I ordered the egg it on platter, the ham steak was also dry and overcooked. The fruit on the side was a good selection, but some of the strawberries were rotten. The biscuit was good but the gravy didn't taste homemade it tasted like they used a packet. Would not come back- the price and waiting for the food to arrive that wasn't even good was not worth it.

Interior was bright and clean. Coffee was unlimited and we had our own little carafe. I would definitely go again!!!! The hamburgers are outstanding -- juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked exactly how you order them. You can tell they use quality beef, and the toppings are fresh. Also tried the fish. Having reservations helped, and our table was ready upon arrival. Our server, Rebel, was the standout of the entire experience. She handled our large group single-handedly, keeping orders organized and service on point the whole time. Friendly, engaging, and attentive--she's exactly the kind of person you want taking care of your table. We started with Wings, Mozzarella Sticks, and a Giant Pretzel. The wings looked good but fell short in crispness and flavor. The Pretzel was solid, but the big surprise winner was the Mozzarella Sticks--definitely worth ordering! For my meal, I had the Chicken Club with a side salad. The sandwich was excellent, thanks to the perfectly toasted wheat berry bread that really made it shine. The side salad, however, was a miss. It looked fresh but lacked flavor, and I wish restaurants would serve salads on chilled plates to keep them crisp. Overall, Main Street Tavern is a solid choice for lunch or even after work on the patio. The food has its highs and lows, but with Rebel taking care of you, the experience is well worth it.
