My first visit at Maven Coco left me pleasantly surprised - the inventory was similar to the way it always was. The racks were still perfectly filled with quality items at decent prices. Items were nicely displayed and it was easy to peruse the racks because they weren't overstocked. I was able to find several pieces to buy that day. Sadly, my next two visits left me a bit disappointed. First the young girl behind the counter does not greet or talk to you at all. She sits looking down at her phone the whole time I'm in there. Yet, the shoe shelf is disheveled, lots of the clothes on the racks are not straightened - buttoned, tied, adjusted on the hangers so that it doesn't fall off when you move the hanger, etc.. The racks are filled almost beyond the ability to move the items easily. The prices are now pretty outrageously steep - even for quality, higher end items. I hope this is just temporary and that my next visit will prove me wrong.

This place has art which honors the monuments of San Francisco and the style of San Francisco on clothing. It is called Fleetwood. On a Summer stroll on Clement street I landed inside Fleetwood. Inside you will find hats and jewelry along with shirts and seaters with prints that represent San Francisco from the Richmond District to the Golden Gate Bridge to the Sunset Dunes. You will find posters with San Francisco related prints along with tote bags. Fleetwood is also an art gallery and also has screen printing workshops. This is a good place to shop for clothing that is artistic which has a connection to San Francisco. They seem to discount by color tags, and they actually take those items out and put them in a specific section so you're not hunting for those sales like many other thrift shops. There are three fitting rooms in the back that are covered with curtains. You can sign up for their membership with your contact to earn points on purchases and get notified for their sales, as well. Staff were also very friendly. Parking lot was decently sized, but if you come later, it may be a bit more challenging to find parking (some spots are designated for a nearby business and some are 15 minute only spots).

They charged $55 for one hour of trying on 10 gowns with a stylist . It may run over time a little bit but they did not charge us more . It was an elimination process . We started with 10 gowns and went down to the top two at the end . The prices vary depending on the materials. It ranges about $2000 to $6000 . Veil And alternation fee are extra . It takes 6 months to order a wedding gown if your choice. The prices are beyond great if you love vintage clothing and know fabrics. I may have found my favorite dress of all time here for a whopping $14 (because it's a two piece set of decorative vintage fabric) it was in the premium section and the volunteers were adorable making sure I knew why it was priced this way. (I couldn't afford a yard of this fabric retail I'm giddy about a vintage two piece set that I can customize). To then discover that the proceeds go to support women's scholarships was the ultimate bonus! My grand total for everything was $54 and I happily gave my change to the donation bucket by the register. If you are in the area and love unique vintage items this is a must explore. I had to resist the urge to buy several of the tea cup collections. I'm a sucker for vintage tea sets and they have several that are stunning! Only $330 for bodice adjustments, hemming, adding slip adjustments, and a wrist strap. When I picked it up about 4 weeks later, it was absolutely perfect.
