I should have gone off the bad reviews. In January I bought a 2023 Lexus RX from the Lexus dealership in Portland. I have quickly come to find that I need a more family friendly car with two boys and dogs. So I decided on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. You would think that it would be easy seeing my car is so new, it has been far from that, and I should've known based on the name, because we have been to McCord Vancouver Toyota in the last few years and when my husband tried to get a truck there, they spelled my name wrong when they did the credit app so naturally was denied, and when I said something, they blamed it on me and threaten to sue me because I wrote a bad review... come to find out one twin brother owns the Toyota dealership and one twin brother owns the Jeep dealership, so it must be a family thing for them to screw people over. Anyway, moving on... my car blue books for $57,320 on the high end, Lexus and Toyota hold their value because they are currently selling for that. My Lexus is a great car. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. No dents no scratches it is like I just bought it off the lot, 4,300 miles on it. They offered me $44,000 for it. Then proceeded to tell me that I was wrong about how much my car is selling for right now and that I was reading the window sticker wrong. The whole thing was just a waste of time. If you are going to buy a Jeep or Dodge, go down to Dick Hannah in Vancouver, or somewhere else.

My husband's Dodge Ram 1500, he loves it!!

Brad the sales director just made sure we will never buy a vehicle from here. Pushy, dishonest, and really obnoxious. Ugh.

We came in the next day did the test drive, signed paperwork and we were heading back home in 2 hours!! Our family is very thankful, grateful, and are extremely blessed to have a wonderful, reliable, vehicle again!

I was texting with him and told him my daughter is pregnant and needs a bigger vehicle for having a 3rd child. Also, I did bring up that the 2020 Honda CR-V she drove required a lot of maintenance, has a lot of miles, and may not be that safe anymore. Well, the salesman mentioned that that they were more than likely not going to sell it on the lot and that it will go to auction. That made me think that my daughter go back to that car. Of course that car had negative equity, and we were negotiating on the payment for the Pilot. The payment ended up being higher than expected. Although, my daughter and I decided to go with the purchase of the Pilot thinking that it would not be safe for my daughter to continue driving the other car especially when they were saying it's going to go to auction. When the finance manager had a sign paperwork and add-on the insurance for the car, he even agreed that the other car would more than likely go to auction as well. We only got 14,800 for it. Which $20,000 was owed on it. Now about a week later. Sure enough the CRV is on their lot. Selling for $ $21,400. I I texted the sales manager today and said that I am pissed and that he knows when I'm pissed about. I wanted him to have his manager call me but he ended up calling me back and the sales manager got on the phone. The sales manager was absolutely rude and said that I was the one that brought the car into them; we did not ask you to bring the car in which I don't get why that should matter. They admitted that they were right and did not do anything wrong. He totally denied that they said the CR-V would go to auction. My daughter and I both heard it several times, and the financial manager stated it as well. I just could not believe what I was hearing. The sales manager stated that they put 3800.00 of work into the CR-V which they try to squeeze one in every once in awhile. I thought it was bad enough to go to auction? It just makes me not want to trust them anymore. They lied to us plain and simple. I have been a customer forever with Stirling which I have bought a few cars through them and have brought my cars in for service for a long time. I told the sales manager that I am done being a customer there. It was like he totally did not care and wanted to get rid of me on the phone. I told him that I was going to give them a bad review and then hung up. I had totally had it and do not put up with their shit and games. I can't stand liars! And it is crazy because the sales manager admitted that is what they do; they sell cars. In other words, the customer is last on their list at least the group my daughter and I encountered. Now, we are stuck with almost an $800.00 per month payment due to them stating that the CR-V was auction material. The sales manager said that a vehicle having 132,000 miles on it is going to be bad. That is so not true. It could still be in good condition which there are other vehicles that do just fine with that amount of miles. He was actually putting down his own product. Anyway, I am moving on. I don't trust them anymore.

Car…read morestarted making funny noise, engine light came on, air conditioning was a question mark, they were not sure if not connected or just needed recharge. Had to call a couple of times to remind about getting plates and after saying they would send them had to go pick up from them. Took car to shop for engine light, noise and air conditioner. Noise was because motor mount bolt was very loose, light is because of several sensor issues and air conditioning was missing a hose and not hooked up in any way. Had not been for some time and whole system is very dirty and will cost me $1600 or more to fix. The others issues are being worked on as car is not safe to drive. Not sure how much this is going to end up costing. When I went in to Parr's I told him I needed reliable, safe transportation as I have a disabled daughter and have to go to lots of places for her care. Told him didn't have a lot of money to spend but but didn't expect to be sold a money pit. When I called back about issues was told they would "tighten" the bolt. Lot more work involved than that....basically tough sh*& for me. Buyer beware. Don't buy from here.

We had a 10:40am appointment to have some tires put on that we also purchased from here. My father in law couldn't make it due to some medical happenings. So we offered to take the car in for him. Since all prior dealings have been pleasant. We made it in at 10am and talked to Susan and Matt. They check us in and where great, they said they wouldn't be the advisor on it but it would be Kayla. I told them we will go shopping as we had another vehicle and asked how long it would be and went over our scheduled appointment time. They informed me Kayla was aware of appointment and it would be an hour. We left and came back at 11:40. Check in and saw vehicle parked and asked for keys and how much the total charge would be. We where then told at this moment that it hadn't even been worked on yet and where asked if we needed it back at any particular time!? Well we scheduled an appointment, dropped it off well before and came back at said completion time. So many customers are late, very rarely do they show up as scheduled and let alone make it easy by dropping it off. We where then proceeded to be told it will be almost 2pm before it's done. To swap two tires? Not very pleasant experience. I hope next time I can remove this review. I always give a second chance.

Not even a week after driving it around we had to take it back to service because the dashboard was saying it needed an oil change, and after checking the oil stick it a very very dark color and I still have the photo and date to prove it. It was also warning that the key batteries needed to be replaced and one of the back tail lights was going out. Then not even a couple weeks after that there was a sound coming from the breaks. The truck was in the shop for a couple of days because they needed to inspect it and they said that nothing was wrong. After that another few weeks go by and my mom takes it to a subaru dealership up in auburn where it gets lifted to get new rims on, the worker then notices that there's a lot of oil leaking from the transmission box (as the worker stated). We took the truck to the dealership where it's been since December 2025. I am writing this in April 2026. Since I last spoke to them in late February I have not received an update call and when I do call to ask for them to call me, I have yet to receive any call back. They have not given us a car to drive around in the meantime either and we are angry. Our blood boils at the fact that such a prestige dealership does not care about what they sell. They clearly didn't bother to inspect the truck prior to buying it from the last owner. It just really sucks because this is the reason people avoid smaller owned dealerships in fear that something like this to happen. Every time we go in to talk to someone the staff looks annoyed and angry as we get a sense that the don't want us to be there. But what else do you expect when their own dealership is to blame. This is not our fault. Out of the total time we've owned this truck we have literally only driven it about 3 months. So please save yourself from going through this and go elsewhere, you'd have better luck going to a smaller dealership.
