Cool rooftop bar/restaurant! It's hard to find if you're looking for it on street level. They have a tiny sign outside the building or hotel? then once you get into the elevators there's a sign for what floor to get to. The place has a nice open layout, you pick where'd you like to sit - indoor or out. The only problem was you couldn't sit anywhere because all the tables were dirty and still had plates etc left on them. We had to wait for the staff to "clean" the table, or as we watched them literally wipe down the table with a rag.. no cleaning sprays or anything. Tacos weren't bad! They were loaded up nicely and not cheaply stuffed. You couldn't taste a difference between any of the tacos though because the toppings are similar. Beef one was good because it was moist but chicken was dry and shrimp overcooked. It's also not nice when the waitress hypes up certain tacos to try and the kitchen says they're out lol Our waitress was excellent considering! Very friendly and great energy! read more

Rooftop bar with views and tacos! Went on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm and there was a surprising amount of people. I imagine it gets crazy busy in the evenings with the great views. Decent amount of seating with tables, high tops, and some couches for large groups. Service was a little slow but we were in no rush as it was mid day and most of the staff was probably not in yet. Just got the chips and trio of sauces. Chips were good and sauces were each unique which I liked, the fan favorite was the thicker green salsa which was really refreshing. My wife had tacos which she said were good but all pretty similar because of the toppings being the same. It's a great taco place with a gorgeous rooftop! Very modern vibe. We ordered some margs and tacos. The margs were fantastic, if on the pricier side. The chips and salsa were just okay, as the salsa needed more salt and flavor. We did the taco trio for $15 and had the pork belly, chicken, and shrimp. I wanted to try this place for their rooftop. It started raining as soon as I got there. That's Denver! The vibe was pretty chill and there were not too many people dining in. The two servers and manager were very attentive. They tip share! The tacos weren't the best I've ever had, but they did their best to make sure we were happy with our meal. The salsa trio and the queso fries were the best. Tried two signature margaritas. The cucumber was my favorite. We finally got a chance to check out the roof deck and the view was amazing and did not disappoint. I will be back to try more food and enjoy the beautiful view of downtown Denver. read more

We were in the area for a warehouse sale and wanted a quick lunch close. We didn't know about McDevitt until we did a Yelp search. It is at the top of the Best Western hotel. The place is super cute and modern as you walk off the elevator right into the restaurant. There is an outdoor spot that looks great but was too cold to enjoy when we were there. The margaritas are fantastic! We had 4 margaritas, shared 3 tacos and the chips and salsa - $100 with tip. The prices seem a little high but not too bad. We were staying at the Vib Hotel By Best Western and decided to check this place out for happy hour (3-5 PM) since it was just upstairs. Our party of 4 was seated right away at an indoor table (they also have an outdoor rooftop section). Our servers were attentive and cheerful, and the happy hour deals were fantastic. All happy hour food items were only $3.50 -7, the House Margarita was $6, and the Mexican Lager was $5. We ordered Chips & Guac as well as Nachos with Chicken to share and both were fantastic, especially the Nachos. I also got the House Margarita which was pretty large and tasty - not too sweet at all. Next up, we obviously had to order tacos. I chose the Honey Chili Shrimp and Beer-Braised Beef, which were both great. The Beer-Braised Beef had a surprising kick to it, but I actually preferred the Honey Chili Shrimp out of the two. My friends loved their tacos as well, including the Roasted Sweet Potato & Black Bean and Braised Pork Belly (our server's favorite). We tried a lot of different stuff, from tacos (beef, pork belly, shrimp, cactus) to margaritas (spicy, cucumber) to chips and salsa, and we didn't like a single thing we had. The server was just so-so. Kinda like the space, but when the weather's not good they have garage-like doors that close off the outside space, which is fine except the insulation isn't great, so it was pretty cold. The Taco supply is located on the top floor of the Vib Best Western in downtown Denver. We received a coupon from staying at the hotel. The tacos are smaller, but we are use to it. I thought they were the bomb. We had drinks at the top. The unfortunate was that it was raining outside and we didn't have the opportunity to experience the rooftop without rain and outside. The general manager is one of the nicest guys that we've met. Met him in the morning downstairs when we had breakfast. He's from Jacksonville FL, lives here in Denver, CO and is a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. You meet them everywhere. He's doing a great job with the new place. Recommend checking it out. read more

So good and very conveniently located especially if you're staying at the hotel, we stayed there 3 nights and I went to mcdevitt twice. I had the steak and shrimp tacos one day and the nachos the next. Their queso, guac, and sauces are absolutely delicious and they give huge portions of them. It was a bit cold out when we visited but still sat in the roof top lounge area and it was very nice with a pretty view of the mountains. Beautiful rooftop location, with excellent and cost friendly options. We saved money on splitting a 9 tacos board that came on this beautiful wood slab. While the tacos were deliciously full of flavor some of the spices can be a bit spicy but totally worth every bite. Their the green salsa is insanely sweet so it's a perfect starter that contrasts the flavors. We also shared the massive chicken sandwich with sauce on the side every bite was better then the last. Great find for me in the RiNo area for rooftop views, ice cold margs and banging tacos. Good variety of tacos (land, sea, soil) and a solid apps selection ranging from queso fries to kale salad to good ole chips and salsa. Burgers and sammies available to for the non-taco lovers (if you exist). The beer braised beef is probably my fave and it has a nice bite to it. Decent daily weekday specials and HH plus a taco of the day or week that seems like a chef's choice experimental taco as a solid change of pace. If youre a local, definitely mention it, since it's in a hotel they give locals 10% discount. read more

We recently had the best time here! I loved the rooftop - it was a little bit rainy when we went, but a big portion of it is also covered so you can stay dry as necessary. Plenty of fun space outside when it's dry. As for the food - the pork belly taco is spectacular - would highly recommend that, in conjunction with the queso (it's the runny kind, can add chorizo, just the way I like it).
