This is my messy ass sandwich with ingredients missing!
    Betoney P.

If I could give the 0 I would, not only I'm currently walking back to the store after ordering delivery because they have the audacity to cut me off while I'm talking about my issue and hang up! This is not the first time it has happened, they have huliggans working there always something, either nuggets are stale, beef is missing, soda is out, the staff has no idea wtf they're doing, I am a gm also and there are things I have to do that I do not want to, this has been the worst experience I've had at this establishment at Gibson and San Mateo.

The ball of grease and hardened fat attached to the mushroom swiss burger.

First and foremost, I've already contacted McDonald's corporate office about this. They had the manager, who the complaint was about, contact me. I have no interest in contacting her at all and have been trying to get ahold of either the health department or the district office without success. My husband went in on 12/29/18 at 2:01 p.m. and ordered us one bacon smokehouse burger combo and one mushroom & swiss burger combo. My burger, the bacon smokehouse, was supposed to be a double and was rung up and delivered as a single. I noticed when I opened it that the bacon was half-raw. I can't eat undercooked foods due to my compromised immune system. Don't get me wrong. I love bacon. I, however, cannot eat raw or undercooked meat or eggs. After I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, Christine (who seemed to not understand the legitimate health concern of mine and was very irate about it, calling it an "inconvenience"), my husband went back in and spoke with her as she had offered us a free meal for the "inconvenience". During his second visit, Christine was extremely rude to him and treated what could have been a life-threatening mistake as an inconvenience to HER. She did not give him a second receipt for the replacement meal for some unknown reason. We have decided today that we are not going to return to this restaurant at all as this has been yet another poor ordering experience out of roughly a dozen. Being treated poorly by the management due to something that could easily physically hurt me is not something that we're necessarily thrilled about. We are grateful for the replacement menu, but not about being treated like we're inconveniencing the management. I'd advise that the owner of this specific McDonald's take a good look at who they've hired to manage their restaurant. I did note that she, almost immediately upon my call, knew that it was the drive-thru crew who had messed up our order. She seemed irritated about that, but I can only assume that it was due to having had numerous complaints that day for similar reasons. All in all, I'd have been more than happy to eat the food I was given, regardless of the double being a single, if the meat was thoroughly cooked. Again, though, undercooked bacon can actually make me extremely sick if not kill me. If it is touching other ingredients, I can't eat those either. I'd recommend that anyone with food allergies or immune system issues avoid this restaurant completely. You'll be treated like a second-class citizen instead of a paying customer for simply asking that your order be correct and cooked to temperature. I forgot to mention something else. When my husband brought his burger home, he bit into it and found the thing in the picture. He had worked at McDonald's several years ago and recognized it as a ball of what looked like burger fat and hard grease from a dirty grill. It was about half the size of a quarter. Dirty grills on top of undercooked food = a recipe for sick customers, possibly dead ones.

He walked away as I approached the counter. I was confused as I wasn't aware I had to order on the tablet on the counter. When I began using the tablet I was in search of the new mushroom burger they sent me an email yesterday about. Of course you know it's what I wanted to try. Sadly it wasn't on the menu on the tablet. When I called the employee for help I basically got the vibe he didn't want to be there and he was hesitant to approach. When he did come to the counter I asked about the burger even showed him the email to get told it's not out yet and it was coming soon. I found myself wondering why I even got the email if this was true. Needless to say the food came out really fast. I thought well that's good at least. The presentation was better than the experience. The cheese on the queso fries was pretty skimpy. There were way more fries than cheese which was disappointing. The burger I wasn't a fan of either. It needed more cheese and the stackers sauce tasted strange like it a chipotle sauce it wasn't the same as I recalled. I'm sad to say this is the second location I've had a bad experience with. It's really disappointing because I really loved this place. I guess I'll have to stick to the central food hall because so far that's the only location that hasn't disappointed me like this yet.

I was immediately impressed by the staff. you couldn't ask for better care and warmth. we participated in any activities that were offered and made new and lasting friendships along the way. thru those years there were difficult times. I guess the most difficult was the pandemic when we were limited to movement within the building but you would be amazed attn lengths the staff went to to keep us happy. delicious meals were delivered to our door ( we ordered from our menu's ). Games were played at each door if you wanted to participate and there were fun prizes. The weekly wine socials were brought to your door. Meanwhile, all the necessary health precautions were taken. The apartments were thoroughly cleaned weekly. When necessary, immunization clinics were brought to each resident and if you wanted to participate, they made it easy. Eventually that passed and life got back to normal but it's hard not to recognize the professional handling of that difficult time. The building was renovated and mad lovely for us. If anything needed to be updated, it was life moved along smoothly and I must admit, to my surprise. There were many staff changes but amazingly, the staff remained warm and caring. Deep down, I can forget that they are dealing with many different personalities and sometimes elderly people can be a tad grumpy. The loving staff simply overlooks the bad days. Food is always an issue but the menu is large with choices for everyone. If that isn't enough, there's a really great Bistro you don't want to mis. The activities are numerous and year round. Entertainment is provided on a regular basis and outings take place twice a week. All you have to do is signup. I can't close this without mentioning that my husband passed away in 2022. it was a difficult time made easier by the Fairwinds staff and especially the management. Being100% deaf and disabled, my family wanted me to move to assisted living despite my reluctance. Doralei warmly helped me make that decision to move and very graciously helped me find a comfortable apartment. The move was smooth and the golden treatment given by the health and Wellness staff has been perfect so I have to admit that it was the proper move. When I need appointments, the transportation service is wonderful and I can't forget to mention the wonderful drivers. Do you see how fortunate I furl that all those years ago, we made the decision to move here it was the perfect one. You can't go wrong.

Extremely disappointing experience at Sixty Six Acres…read more We walked in and were seated immediately on the patio. I had read so many positive reviews and was genuinely excited to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, we walked out without ever being served. While we sat there, multiple staff members walked past our table without acknowledging us. No greeting. No water. No "someone will be right with you." Nothing. Then another couple arrived after us and was seated in the same small patio area. They were promptly greeted, given water, and attended to by a waiter who seemed more than happy to serve them. Meanwhile, we were still sitting there trying to figure out whether anyone planned to acknowledge our table. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was looking around and realizing there were no other Black or Brown patrons in the establishment at the time. I cannot definitively say race played a role in how we were treated, but given the stark difference in service between our table and the couple seated after us, I would be dishonest if I said the thought didn't cross my mind. We eventually got up and left. Good food reviews mean very little if certain guests can sit at a table while staff repeatedly walk past them as though they aren't there. Whether this was discrimination, poor training, or simply terrible service, the experience was unacceptable and left us feeling completely unwelcome. We came prepared to spend our money and enjoy dinner. Instead, Sixty Six Acres made it very easy for us to take our business elsewhere.
