Visited this establishment on 02-18-2023, usually is fast and clean. Today they were quite busy so service was understandably slow. My problem was the tables were dirty, and visibility had not been wiped down in some time because the spilled drinks were dried and sticky. After asking 3 different staff members to wipe down our table, all 3 saying they would, and blowing us off, we had to wipe the table down ourselves if we wanted to eat on a clean table. I know people rave about Five Guys and they've been around a while, but this was my first visit. Visited here with my wife before watching the "Jungle Cruise" movie. Upon walking in, I noticed the inside looked super clean and reminded me of a '50s diner. A few customers in line in front of us and lots of staff working the grill. I ordered a cheeseburger ($9.79) and large fries ($7.19). I'll be honest, it was the first time I experienced price shock at a burger joint. I mean, over $7 for large fries! My expectations were tremendously huge for the price tag on that food. The burger came out smaller than I expected, but it was fresh and tasted good with the jalapenos and grilled onions I added. The patty leaked juices but the bun was just okay. I could tell the fries were fresh, but honestly I don't think they were worth over seven bucks. McDonalds fries tasted better to me. Halfway through the fries I ran out of ketchup. The person handing out orders ignored me for three minutes. I know he saw me because we had eye contact but he chose to pretend to look the other way. So I never have had an issue with five guys till I started going to this location. This time really bothered me cause I called the manager about the issue and instead of resolving it he made excuses. The order was completely messed up but the biggest problem was the Cajun fries it's like the dumbed a whole jar of it on the fries it was not even enjoyable to have a fry cause it was like inhaling Cajun powder. The quality of hamburger meat here is unsurpassed. French fries here are excellent. I would like to say that I wouldn't eat hamburgers anywhere else, if I can help it. The only thing about this place is that it is extremely expensive, especially for a person with a fixed income such as myself and my wife. When ordering, my suggestion is not to put so much stuff in the burger. I try to keep it simple: onions, mustard, ketchup, mushrooms and jalapenos. It's extremly difficult to eat it if you put too much stuff in the burger. It becomes soggy. The Regular hamburger here has two patties. The Little Hamburger here has one patty. Even with the Little hamburger and French fries, it will fill you up. In order to defray the cost, we usually get water for the drink. If you must have soda, I would suggest you bring your own soda and just eat the food in your car. read more

Whether it's grilled onion and shrooms, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard, jalapenos and much more...you won't be paying extra for it. Sorry New Mexico, I didn't see any green chili. Fresh cut fries, they even tell you where the potatoes came from! On top of that they give you plenty, the medium easily feeds two. The burger was juicy and delicious. We order five guys pretty often from this location. We have only ever had minor issues like they forgot a topping or something of that nature. Well tonight was the last time we will be ordering from here.... Notice how I didn't say last time eating here? That's because I had to throw all of it away. My daughter was the first one to start eating. She got two bites in and was stabbed in the mouth! She spit out her bite of food and there was a sharp splintering piece of wood. It's almost had the shape of a tooth pick. I called the location right away and asked for a manager. I was handed off to a young man. I told him the situation. I've eaten here several times in the past couple of years. The burgers are good, with your choice of a wide range of condiments. The service is reasonably fast considering it's all made to order. The service is friendly and the order is almost always correct. I love the cajun fries and I get mayo on the side for dipping, since I don't like ketchup. My only two negatives, and the reason I only gave three stars is first, the price is pretty high for what you get and second, the fries serving size vary wildly. They don't seem to have a consistent way to measure the fries serving size, of if they do, they don't follow it well at all--one time a "little" is just the cup, the next time it has a few extra, same for the "regular", one time it's just the cup (really), the next time the bag is half full. Also, the cajun spices are often way too light--barely a dusting. This seems to be a recent problem, in the last six months or so. I was hesitant to continue going because of the price, and since the thing about the fries has come up I've stopped going altogether for the past three months. read more

I've heard about Five Guys for quite a while, so I finally had the chance to see what all the hub bub was about. I ended up arriving here just before closing time, but they were able to take my order with no problem. You have lots of options for your burger, but one thing which was lacking in this location: green & red chilis. I mean, yeah, this is a chain, but when in New Mexico, they simply HAVE to be an option. I ended up going with a bacon cheeseburger with the works....well except for pickles (I mean, what sane person would have pickles on their burger...or with anything?!?) ;) I picked up a basic burger for my friend. I then ordered two things of fries (my friend said the fries are super good here). The person taking the order second guessed me about my order---you sure you want that many fries?!? "Yes, I'm sure," is what I replied...I wanted to look like I wasn't a Five Guy rookie, right?! Within 7-10minutes my order was up. The. Fries. Were. Huge!!! (I could have built a little house for my dog Gomez with the fries I had at my disposal!) But for the record they were super good, and yes, one order would have been perfectly fine. There are few restaurants that serve Iced Tea that do not have Sweet and Low, Splenda, or any other artificial sweeteners. The hamburgers are delicious, with your choice of additions. There were two drawbacks: there is NO green chile available. The former manager at this location explained it this way: everything they serve in the restaurant is fresh--nothing frozen. If they were to offer green chile, it would have to be the frozen variety in order to meet the demand, and they are too "purist" to do so. The milkshakes are small for the price - $4.49 for a milkshake is a bit much, but my salted caramel shake was soooooo good. The fries are the ones I like - nice and thick and properly cooked. Yum.
