We love this place! They have the best chicken and best vegan/veg enchilada in town (which I have to get Gluten Free). It is a local family place, and has seen some ups and downs over the years, but they have been consistently tasty in the past five years or so. Some of the waiters are extremely experienced, and the food is amazing. Richard's Mexican Restaurant did not disappoint yesterday. We were seated and greeted by the owner. She was such a sweet lady. I ordered the lentil tacos with posole and my husband ordered the breakfast akilled with chorizo and egg over medium. The salsa had such a good flavor. The chile was not spicy but had an overall nice flavor. We were excited we got two sopapillas each. They were hot and delicious and were a great finish to the meal. Our server was excellent and made sure our ice tea was never empty. We will make sure to not let our visit such a long absence the next time. A UNKNOWN PERSON?? WTF! Idc. read more

One of the slowest moving mcd... Drive through line looked insane so I walked inside. Taking like 10 minutes just to take my order...there were only two people in front of me. The guy in front of me and I both just wanted lg coffee and they had to ask both of us like three times what I'm getting. Registers seem to be broken but geez. So, this site has a unique spin on the drive through experience. I did drive through, ordered, and paid, in the usual fashion. However, when it came time to receive the food I paid for, well that just never happened. I was told to drive to a parking spot and wait. 10 minutes later, I heard a voice yelling. The employee was telling me to go to the restaurant for the food. At that time, in that neighborhood, I wouldn't recommend getting out of a car. I drove over but she refused to give me my food. First and foremost, I've already contacted McDonald's corporate office about this. They had the manager, who the complaint was about, contact me. I have no interest in contacting her at all and have been trying to get ahold of either the health department or the district office without success. My husband went in on 12/29/18 at 2:01 p.m. and ordered us one bacon smokehouse burger combo and one mushroom & swiss burger combo. My burger, the bacon smokehouse, was supposed to be a double and was rung up and delivered as a single. I noticed when I opened it that the bacon was half-raw. I can't eat undercooked foods due to my compromised immune system. Don't get me wrong. I love bacon. I, however, cannot eat raw or undercooked meat or eggs. After I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, Christine (who seemed to not understand the legitimate health concern of mine and was very irate about it, calling it an "inconvenience"), my husband went back in and spoke with her as she had offered us a free meal for the "inconvenience". During his second visit, Christine was extremely rude to him and treated what could have been a life-threatening mistake as an inconvenience to HER. She did not give him a second receipt for the replacement meal for some unknown reason. We have decided today that we are not going to return to this restaurant at all as this has been yet another poor ordering experience out of roughly a dozen. Being treated poorly by the management due to something that could easily physically hurt me is not something that we're necessarily thrilled about. We are grateful for the replacement menu, but not about being treated like we're inconveniencing the management. I'd advise that the owner of this specific McDonald's take a good look at who they've hired to manage their restaurant. I did note that she, almost immediately upon my call, knew that it was the drive-thru crew who had messed up our order. She seemed irritated about that, but I can only assume that it was due to having had numerous complaints that day for similar reasons. All in all, I'd have been more than happy to eat the food I was given, regardless of the double being a single, if the meat was thoroughly cooked. Again, though, undercooked bacon can actually make me extremely sick if not kill me. If it is touching other ingredients, I can't eat those either. I'd recommend that anyone with food allergies or immune system issues avoid this restaurant completely. You'll be treated like a second-class citizen instead of a paying customer for simply asking that your order be correct and cooked to temperature. I forgot to mention something else. When my husband brought his burger home, he bit into it and found the thing in the picture. He had worked at McDonald's several years ago and recognized it as a ball of what looked like burger fat and hard grease from a dirty grill. It was about half the size of a quarter. This is my second time ordering from this particular McDonald's location in the past month. The first time, I ordered the new Crispy Chicken Sandwich Deluxe. What I received was a hard chicken patty that took effort to even pull apart. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and contacted the location. The manager had my meal replaced and I went about my business. Today, I order the same meal and guess what now... My bread was MOLDY!!!!! I contacted the manager, Christina, and she said they were unaware but would be throwing the bread away. The mold was right on top of the bun; fully noticeable. When I offered to bring her back to prove the mold, she stated that she can see it on the loaf she is currently looking at but the other loaf is fine. What kind of staff do you have that they are not paying attention to these health concerns. One of the MOST stingiest McDonald's EVER. I asked them for a lot of ketchup packs because they don't have any in the restaurant and the guy barely gave me any. They were also so stingy about the Chicken Nugget sauce, they made a sign that tells customers how much sauce they would get. For example, a 4 piece nugget you get 1 package of sauce. For a 20 piece, you get 4 package. I don't know about the rest of you, but I eat a lot of sauce and being stingy on sauce won't fly with me. They charge .50 per package of sauce, which is a rip off of course. The only reason I ate here is because I wanted to try the Green Chile Burger. There's nothing really special because they just threw a glob of Green Chile on a cheese burger. You can't find this outside of NM I believe. The burger was very good and I enjoyed it very much, but the store workers and owners are very stingy. My advice, go to a different McDonalds. read more

This is a bad place to eat. Most of the people don't speak or understand English. They don't seem to have enough items from the menu on hand. The manager isn't there on weekends to make sure that things run smooth. This place has been in trouble ever since they remodel it. I can see why this place only has 1 1/2 stars. I hadn't ordered from this location since before the pandemic. I work across the street at the VA Medical Center and frequented this location for dine in at lunch. The service and food were always good. Today, on a whim, I went through the drive thru for myself and 2 coworkers. Drive thru lady was pleasant and ordering and pick up were fine. When I get back to work, I pass out the food only to find that my QPC Deluxe is anything but. Half of a slice of cheese is stuck to the inside of the box and half of my burger without cheese. The mayo was also all over the box and very messy. Don't get me wrong, I like a messy burger but I have to draw the line somewhere. The fries were good but I ordered a large and only got half a box. Sept 2018 I thought my previous review was a little harsh, considering they are just re-opened after remodeling. I assumed that once they adjusted, to the flow and volume of customers, their service and quality would improve. It did not. The self ordering kiosk inside is the facility is not user friendly. Before offering you meal deals, it offers you each of the meal items ala cart. Purchasing a fish fillet meal in this fashion will cost $9.08. However, when I went to the register and complained. The very obliging manager replaced it for the cheaper ($7.99) meal deal. Unfortunately, I waited for a subpar meal. The fillet was stale and the fries were cold. When I complained, they compensated me with colder replacement fries and another stale fish fillet sandwich. For fear of receiving a frozen meal, I cut my losses and ran. Thank God for microwave ovens! McDonalds...a once proud icon of Americana has fallen and is only a shadow of what it once was. read more

If you need something first thing in the morning to kill hunger McDonald's is the place to go. On your way into work they're open 24 hours 7 days a week. I'm pretty so-so on McDonalds in general, so it's pretty hard to impress me here, but it's also pretty hard to make me have a bad experience. Well this staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a horrible experience here and I don't think this was a solitary incident. There were 4 of us eating and 3 of the 4 got sandwiches which had clearly been sitting around for much longer than they should have been. The meat was dried out and was so stone cold it didn't even come close to melting the cheese. Upon returning one of these puck-burgers, they took it back but them promptly served up another of the same disgusting cold quality as the first. The child seat they had available was coated with ketchup and other mystery black stickiness. They had a stand for sanitary wipes which clearly hadn't been filled in a long time. I'm glad my son was too young to play here because I can't even imagine how gross and unsanitary the play area is. Absolutely horrible experience and what was worse was then a problem was brought to their attention they did absolutely nothing to even pretend they cared and even less to resolve the issue and make it right. I know there are health codes that they should be following, but when the meat has been sitting out so long it is dry, hard and cold I highly doubt those standards are being followed. Stopped here with the kids since this is the only McDonald's in the area with a play place. Pretty clean looking and not busy in the morning on a Wednesday. Service wasn't as fast as I would expect but it seemed like the drive through was slowing things down. The play area is large and looks maintained. If you're on a long drive with kids and they need a break this place isn't a bad option. I deducted one star for the wait on the food and they forgot I asked for no onions on my burger. read more

I usually go at night because I work across the street so it's convenient but their fries are always cold and the burger I got tonight is also cold.
