This is my messy ass sandwich with ingredients missing!
    Betoney P.

If I could give the 0 I would, not only I'm currently walking back to the store after ordering delivery because they have the audacity to cut me off while I'm talking about my issue and hang up! This is not the first time it has happened, they have huliggans working there always something, either nuggets are stale, beef is missing, soda is out, the staff has no idea wtf they're doing, I am a gm also and there are things I have to do that I do not want to, this has been the worst experience I've had at this establishment at Gibson and San Mateo.

The ball of grease and hardened fat attached to the mushroom swiss burger.

First and foremost, I've already contacted McDonald's corporate office about this. They had the manager, who the complaint was about, contact me. I have no interest in contacting her at all and have been trying to get ahold of either the health department or the district office without success. My husband went in on 12/29/18 at 2:01 p.m. and ordered us one bacon smokehouse burger combo and one mushroom & swiss burger combo. My burger, the bacon smokehouse, was supposed to be a double and was rung up and delivered as a single. I noticed when I opened it that the bacon was half-raw. I can't eat undercooked foods due to my compromised immune system. Don't get me wrong. I love bacon. I, however, cannot eat raw or undercooked meat or eggs. After I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, Christine (who seemed to not understand the legitimate health concern of mine and was very irate about it, calling it an "inconvenience"), my husband went back in and spoke with her as she had offered us a free meal for the "inconvenience". During his second visit, Christine was extremely rude to him and treated what could have been a life-threatening mistake as an inconvenience to HER. She did not give him a second receipt for the replacement meal for some unknown reason. We have decided today that we are not going to return to this restaurant at all as this has been yet another poor ordering experience out of roughly a dozen. Being treated poorly by the management due to something that could easily physically hurt me is not something that we're necessarily thrilled about. We are grateful for the replacement menu, but not about being treated like we're inconveniencing the management. I'd advise that the owner of this specific McDonald's take a good look at who they've hired to manage their restaurant. I did note that she, almost immediately upon my call, knew that it was the drive-thru crew who had messed up our order. She seemed irritated about that, but I can only assume that it was due to having had numerous complaints that day for similar reasons. All in all, I'd have been more than happy to eat the food I was given, regardless of the double being a single, if the meat was thoroughly cooked. Again, though, undercooked bacon can actually make me extremely sick if not kill me. If it is touching other ingredients, I can't eat those either. I'd recommend that anyone with food allergies or immune system issues avoid this restaurant completely. You'll be treated like a second-class citizen instead of a paying customer for simply asking that your order be correct and cooked to temperature. I forgot to mention something else. When my husband brought his burger home, he bit into it and found the thing in the picture. He had worked at McDonald's several years ago and recognized it as a ball of what looked like burger fat and hard grease from a dirty grill. It was about half the size of a quarter. Dirty grills on top of undercooked food = a recipe for sick customers, possibly dead ones.

The staff treated us like family from the moment we walked in. Their friendliness and genuine hospitality made an already great breakfast even better. We enjoyed the carne adovada omelet with beans and home fries, along with carne adovada topped with two eggs over easy, beans, and home fries. The corn tortillas were perfect, the black coffee hit the spot, and everything was absolutely fabulous. The carne adovada was rich, flavorful, and unmistakably New Mexican. There is nothing corporate or manufactured about this place--it is full of Albuquerque character, family history, and local color. El Sabor de Juarez serves honest, authentic food made by people who clearly care about their customers and their community. This is exactly the kind of family-owned restaurant Albuquerque should treasure and support. We will definitely be back!

Quick to provide recommendations like the limonada (fresh lemonade) that reminded me of my mom's recipe. He sold me on the sopaipilla with carne adovada. While my food was getting ready, he gave me a carne adovada sample to try - warm, spicy, savory pork in su jugo "juices" *wiping away my drool*. The sopaipilla was huge! I felt like I got the works! The bread was soft and great for scooping up the meat, beans, cheese, lettuce, and guacamole that filled it. I went into a mini food coma and had to say no to the sopaipilla with honey for dessert (still thinking about it). They sell small knick knacks like candy, toys, and earrings at the register. I especially liked the earrings! This is an Albuquerque must for authentic Mexican food! Your waistline will not thank you later.

We ordered: The Crazy Cuban Sandwich The Chicken Guy Classic Sandwich Bacon Mac n Cheese Burger Flavortown Fries Chocolate Whiskey Cake My favorites were the fries and the cake. The fries have this incredible seasoning and are cooked perfectly. The cake is decadent and tastes a lot like a coke cake, very moist and velvety. My husband enjoyed the Cuban and Bacon Mac N Cheese Burger a lot! I tasted the Bacon Mac N Cheese burger and there was just too much going on for my taste. There is lots of everything on it, but the meat tasted chargrilled which I liked. The one let down was the chicken sandwich. I've been into chicken sandwiches lately so I was really looking forward to this one and it was way over cooked to the point of being super hard and dry. I literally took two bites and threw the rest away. Overall it was a good experience, it is quite spendy for fast food but I figure it's worth it for fast food done right!
