I normally don't review fast food chains, but I just wanted to say the service at this McDonald's was really great. The staff was informative and nice. They let us know when they'd take our orders and our food came out super fast. And the restaurant itself was nice and modern. Food was normal McDonald's quality and taste. Nothing special I will say - the bathroom only has one stall. There was a line of people waiting, which was definitely a bit unpleasant. read more

McDonald's - Interior - Fast Food Near Me - Alpine, Texas

I visited this location twice during my stay in Alpine, both times at night when there was a good amount of people dining there. Both times the food came out disgustingly cold and smushed. I always get the hot and spicy McChicken, and I have never gotten a sandwich as flattened as the ones from here. The sandwich becomes a dense puck of meat and bread. It's never been hot either - lukewarm at best. The fries were kinda soggy and lukewarm as well. The only upside is that they were somewhat quick with the order, but I have had better with shorter waits. Come here only for emergencies. read more

It's McDonalds. They have the same stuff as you'd expect. Reasonable prices. Probably as good a place for breakfast as Alpine has nowadays. Since the new owners took over they raised their prices to about what McDonalds is everywhere. Use the app for better deals. Sometimes you get hot French fries. Other times not. The staff is friendly. The ambiance is stunning. Their ice cream machine is operable. Or at least, they can make a McFlurry if you want one. Which implies that the ice cream machine works. It would be pretty good if the men's room had soap in the dispenser. One has to wonder how the male employees wash their hands after they use the toilet. There's been no soap in there the last 3 times I've been. At least, no soap comes out when I try to get it. There's also no paper towel dispenser. Just one of those idiotic blow dryers. Because of that, lots of people don't wash their hands. Which makes it even worse. If Alpine had more options that would be good. read more

The demon Alpine does a good job I've never had a problem with a thing they have done. The food's not perfect and I will never put a chicken nugget in my mouth ever again. But I would bet most would consider it claim compared to other restaurants and I've been in kitchens and some of the behind things dirty parts of a lot of them. Food is terrible. The cleanliness is mediocre, etc. new ownership, but the people they brought over to work for them are not the best and treat their employees like crap and they discriminate against handicap people, even though they say they don't. read more

Customer service is absolutely terrible. The lady at the 2nd window was rude and I'm assuming the manager was with her was also rude. They pull you up front for every little thing and make you wait 10 plus mins. All I order was a normal combo and drink. The lady asked me to pull up and I said no because every time I do, I wait 10 plus mins for my single meal. What I am assuming is the manager asked me why I won't pull up, I told her the same thing. They told me I had to pull up because they had the order behind me order ready. The kitchen is not doing their job properly. They use to never do this, I don't understand why they are doing it now. I'm not rating this place against other restaurants in Alpine, I'm rating it against other McDonald's in Texas. I've never been to a McDonald's that regularly runs out of main ingredients (beef, chicken, etc.). I recognize we are far from everywhere, but it happens so often. If you sit in the dining room, you can hear the incredible loud music being played in the kitchen. It's not too clean. "They always screw you at the drive through" They have a sign up at the drive through, advertising the "Burrito Meal" for $5. Unfortunately, the don't seem to know what their sign says-I ordered a burrito meal and they charged me $6.65. And they didn't want to refund me the $1.65 difference. The burritos were tiny, barely warm, and tasted funky. I ate the hash brown and threw the burritos in the trash. read more

There are 20 of us Veterans that wanted breakfast while passing through to El Paso. The door says open 7:00 AM. They employees not only refused to let us in the dining room to eat, but laughed at us standing outside!! They advised us yo go through the drive through. If I could give less stars, I WOULD. You people charged $4.59 EACH for three sausage biscuits w/egg and $1 each for three "sweet teas" when what was ordered was 3 sausage biscuit with egg and WATERS. NOBODY in our car received sweet tea, so it's deceitful to charge for something that wasnt given. On top of this, your entire sausage egg biscuit MEAL only costs $4.15 each so its super disgusting that you overcharged on that too - nobody ordered meals! read more

Why can't I get the first ten for a dollar then? Had fun at this location while I asked the girl behind the counter to price the 10-piece followed by the 20-piece, to the amazement of the small crowd who were waiting for their orders to come out. Most people don't know about this little price quirk, and I only just discovered it myself a few years ago. It's always fun to demonstrate it before the waiting masses. We are on a big road trip starting in Massachusetts a week ago. After PB&J for a few days in a row, we were happy to see this McDonald's. Positives are this: hot food, crispy fries and fast service. This review covers two visits. Swung be here in July for breakfast while on a road trip. They stopped serving breakfast at 10. What??? Stopped again in September to find the doors locked with customers standing inside and no signs indicating anything. Apparently when they get busy, they lock the doors and force people to use the drive-thru. Is it really that difficult to hang a sign in the door? This location used to be a reliable quick bathroom/snack stop when road tripping to Big Bend. Guess Stripes will fill the void. read more

I've been to many a McDonalds in my time and this one has by far been the worst- and most consistently the worst. Time and time again the soft drinks taste like water essentially, the food comes out cold, a majority of the employees are incredibly rude, items are forgotten from the bag entirely. Believe it or not, McDonalds can actually taste good, this one? Not so much. The owner needs to really step it up before it gets reported to corporate. For the prices of the food (it's not cheap) the quality is miserable. Also- what's with the drinks NEVER having ice cubes? For almost two months now, the soda fountain machine has been inoperative. Go ahead, check it out! Instead of leaving the tattered sign on the machine, they should remove the machine since they apparently have decided not to get it fixed. Probably the worst McDonalds in Texas. Sorry to say but they are just awful, the staff is so unhappy, or unfriendly or just plain uninterested it's sad. Just smile or say " good morning " or something instead of just standing at the window with their back to you- it's not that hard! They are always running out of product. I've never- never been to a McDonalds that runs out of hamburger meat, fries, smoothies, shakes! They just upgraded the building- maybe they should spend some time learning how to run a business! Absolutely horrible. Business completely run by kids! No professionalism. Ordered at the drive thru while waitress was gossiping with co-worker. Screwed up the read back on order so I proceeded to subway. 2nd time I was there the girl behind the counter was in between orders when her friend returned from her break and proceeded to talk about her recent sexual experience. Stopped by at 6:45 in the morning on the way back from Big Bend National Park. One counter person working both the counter and drive through window with 6 folks at the counter and 8 cars at the drive through. Took over 20 minutes to have our order taken. Young lady was doing a great job but the owner/manager is really missing the boat not having enough employees on staff for that shift. The place was also filthy from the night before. Glad I don't live their as I would not go to this McDonalds on a regular basis. read more

Worst customer service I've ever received. Rude employees ignored us at the window and practically threw the drink through our car window while they continued their gossiping without so much as eye contact to either of us in the car. Multiple times I've had to go around again as things were missing in the bag. A simple "thank you" or "you're welcome" would even make the experience a little less terrible. They can fix the building and drive-thru all they want, most employees there are pretty rude, which sucks cause there aren't many options around town to go to instead of this place. read more
