I had just drove up to menu board and the drive through young lady is asking me if I am using my app. I said yes but hold on a second. I was getting a few details from my grandkids about drinks and special orders. There was no line behind me and maybe 2 cars ahead of me. This lady is rushing me to order and I again said hold on because I had 3 young kids in car and I needed a moment. She took this personally. I completed my order then she piped up as soon as I was done and asked if she could take my order. She acted like she didn't hear me and there was no one else in line. Get a life. I don't know why we are paying her $20/hour for lousy, immature customer service. And quit badgering people while we are trying to order. I'm here at 1 o'clock pm on a Friday afternoon and there's three employees. One in the drive-through one at the counter/ getting food and one cook. I ordered a fillet fish with extra tartar sauce and I got a fillet fish with no tartar sauce because they don't have any tartar sauce. I will never come here again read more

Went through the Drive Through today Aug 15, 2023 for breakfast. Took my order, Big Breakfast with Hot cakes, a sausage biscuit and a hash brown, with an ice coffee. What I got, hotcakes in a cardboard burger box, a sausage patty in a burger box, no eggs, only one one hash brown a a sausage biscuit. No Platter to eat it off of. All dumped in a bag!!! How terrible. I went in to show them I had wrong order, manager said it was correct and I halfway agreed but could not tell because everything was a mess in the bag. My son I ate here yesterday. The food at McDonalds is always average at best, but we are programmed and return over and over again. It's semi cheap, mostly just convenient. Sometimes it's good I think, or maybe I'm just super hungry after the gym and the burger is like 2/3 consumed before I even consider complaining. We were just eating our food and several Karens came to the counter to complain. A few Kens too. The workers here put up with a ton of crap. They probably should spit in your food for being so awful. One lady was pregnant and handled all sorts of verbal abuse like a real gangster. I think it's funny if you consistently have a bad experience and you keep coming back. What are you expecting? You can't even place an order with a live person anymore. They have a big sign that says "we're going digital". That is a huge McNope for me. This is what happens when you have a blue run state that does not understand basic economics. The very people they were supposed to be helping are now either losing their jobs or getting less hours. The portions are so small that it is obvious they are using shrinkflation to increase profit margins. You can eat at a regular restaurant for what McDonalds costs now. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise. Nobody should eat this poison anyway. I was only there because we had been working all day and were hungry and tired. I won't be back. Went this morning to get breakfast. We ordered 2 ice teas, an egg and sausage McMuffin and a bacon and egg McGriddle. It was fast, hot, folks were pleasant. Got home, sat down to eat and the McGriddle was missing the egg and cheese! Well, we were hungry so took the picture and started eating it. Here's the main reason for the low review. When we called to let them know, expecting them to just put our name down for a redo the next time we're in, she instead said to keep the sandwich and bring it back tomorrow for a new one! Really? The point of getting food was because we're hungry and I'm recovering from surgery so going back and forth isn't a helpful activity. read more

Worst quality i ever received at a Mickie D's. Put in an order on the App while sitting in parking lot. Had a promo for a free any size fries with a $1 minimum purchase. Ordered a double cheese burger, ice tea and a free large fries. Order came to my car timely. I asked the lady if i could get a straw. She told me it was in the bag. Off i went. As soon as i got back on the highway i opened the bag. First thing i noticed was the large fries were only half full and none on bottom of bag. Plus they were cold and limp with no salt. Although there was a straw, there were no napkins. I guess they figured since the fries were free i got some that were meant to be tossed. Wont ever be back to the Anderson McDonalds. read more

Every time we go to the Anderson McDonalds to get a soda, since they're only one dollar and you can't beat that...they never EVER fill the cup up to the top! And the first few times I thought oh it was an accident. But it's consistently this way every single time. It's frustrating when your thirsty and they already fill the cup up mainly with bulky ice before even adding the soda. But then to get your drink and see it like a good 2 inches from the top of the cup. I'll be honest. It's super annoying. Also it seems like their ice cream machine is ALWAYS down. So, on a hot day this summer, if your wanting an ice cream cone, a sundae, a McFlurry or milkshake... Take this warning that you may wait in the long long drive thru line, just to get to the order screen and be told the ice cream machine is down. This has been the best McDonald's I have been to. I've never had such fantastic service at any fast food restaurant and I just want to give a special thanks to Megan (the manager on duty today) she was amazing and super caring to me and my sister. She knew what to suggest and took her time with us. I will definitely be coming back to this location specifically because every other McDonald's in the Redding area is always iffy. I saw the movie "The Founder", and for an establishment that was designed to make and deliver not-terrible food to customers in the fastest, most efficient way possible, this particular McDonald's fails miserably. I don't order a lot of food here, so I can't speak to the problems others have had with getting the orders wrong. What I can speak about is the customer service. These people are SLOOOOOOOW! They stand around a lot. It's like they know you're there, but they won't come over for a full three minutes to ask what you need. I feel that standing next to the order counter looking expectantly at an employee should elicit some kind of response. I could be wrong. I just don't understand this new entitled world I'm living in. Another reviewer likened them to zombies. I disagree somewhat. Their flesh isn't rotting off of them and they're not rushing over to gnaw on my brains. They're not rushing over at all. Slowest service ever!! In the 30 min we were there we saw them mess up nearly every order, including ours and including drive through. So many people came in to complain. The would put out orders but never call the number so it would get cold before people realized it was theirs. I've never given a McDonald's review but pass on this one, poor service bad food should have talked to the manager but I was on vacation and trying to relax. First you have to asked to be let into the restrooms they are locked. Your eating with your hands need to wash them. Ordered 2 hotcakes and sausage big breakfasts, specifically asked the girl to please make sure butter, syrup and jam were in the bag, she assured me she checked and they were ..... I pulled over, checked and no syrup, went inside - oh we're out of syrup but we have jam or you can go to Burger King and ask them. On top of that one set of utensils for 2 hotcakes meals, have had many issues with this McDonalds before, worse than this, they really need to improve their training. read more

I am done eating here, EVERY TIME I eat here I end up with diarrhea. This is typically caused by either storing pre-cooked food at improper temperatures, which means the food is spoiled, or the food is being held in containers that are rife with bacteria due to insufficient cleanliness. I don't know where they are failing but in my opinion, this place is a detriment to anyone's health who eats here. It makes me sick so it will make you sick, too. I'm done getting sick on their food. And on top of that, the bun on the egg mc muffin was burned, the egg looked like it had been sitting a long time (maybe that's when I should have thrown it in the trash), and the cheese was half on and half off the sandwich so half of it was just laying in the wrapper.
