Made a stop here to grab lunch on a weekday on our way to Shasta and we couldn't be happier with the decision! Ordered the Bobo burger and the Patty Wagon and both came out great! The best thing about this place is the service. In my opinion, there's no better food/service than that you would get at a place ran by it's owners. Recommend 10/10!

No complaints about this place. The food is fine, although not stunning. It's a quaint diner really, possibly constructed by hobbits considering the ceiling height, but it seems to fit well in Cottonwood. I would probably not go out of my way to return but the food was good. Service was diner-esque: not fast but friendly. Prices are fine, about $12-14 per burger. I liked the burger but didn't love it. My description is along the lines of: plain and safe. You will not hate it. I really liked the cut of the fries but they weren't salted. You can do that yourself though I guess. Their fry sauce is average.

Cute lunch and supper stop in Cottonwood. Hand cut fries and nice assortment of burgers to satisfy your cravings. Watch your noggin upon entering. Low header. Food was good. Service on spectacular side. Parking behind resturant.

perfect backyard burger from a great little spot along I-5! my job takes me all around California and I'm always in search of great local burger joints. I prefer a tasty, simple cheeseburger over the big greasy burgers with a million toppings you find elsewhere. If a burger joint makes a solid basic cheeseburger, you can bet their other burgers are great too. good quality and well-seasoned meat, fresh veggies and sharp cheddar (you can pick from other cheese options). fries were nicely seasoned and came with thousand island style dipping sauce, as well as salt and pepper packets. the two ladies -- the cook and waitress -- were very friendly. The place is small but clean and tidy. I'll be back if i ever am in the area!

Food is absolutely BOMB. Don't listen to others that complain about flavor. Fries were fantastic and prices cheap. Good service too!

When they're open the food is good. 3 times recently I drove down to Cottonwood to eat here and they are closed.

We were two-wheeled pilgrims, dust-caked and hungry, and Papa Dogs Tap House and Deli was exactly the kind of gritty oasis we needed. This ain't some polished, pretentious joint. Papa Dogs has a real, lived-in feel, a kind of cute and quaint charm that still feels authentically small-town. I ordered the Albuquerque turkey, it was the perfect combo of flavors and the super cold pineapple hard cider was much appreciated. They were out of chips so I skipped on that (obviously) The folks working there? Solid. No fuss, no fake smiles, just genuinely kind and efficient. But let me tell you, the true salvation, the damn highlight of this whole pit stop, was that patio. We peeled off our helmets, stretched out, and let the Weaverville air wash over us. It's got that easygoing, unpretentious vibe that just screams "kick back." After hours of white-knuckling it through twisty mountain passes, that patio was pure, unadulterated bliss.

First off, the rice, white queso dip, cream sauce, salsa and bean dip they have, rival a favorite place of mine in LA called Salsa and Beer I ordered basic cheese enchiladas (one with red sauce, one with green sauce). They were FANTASTIC. If you think something as simple as a cheese enchilada can't be gourmet and elevated, I suggest trying anything from Rick Bayless (Chicago or LA) and El Cholo (LA) with their aged cheddar. All that to say, Casa Rios didn't disappoint. My friend got the chili relleno with cream sauce, one word, FANTASTIC. I like that it had a bit of char to it and that it wasn't super eggy. It had a nice crisp to it. For desert (it being my bday week and all lol) was their coconut tres leches cake with strawberries. Another smash out of the park. I will definitely be back. Eager to try their fajitas, birria tacos and flan. Great job. If I'm in town on Tuesday (8/11) I'll have my bday dinner here.

They're dog-friendly, so we were able to bring our two pugs along for dinner instead of leaving them behind. We sat on the patio and it wasn't anything amazing, but it worked well for traveling with dogs. We ordered the chicken strips à la carte and the Pete's half-pound burger. Both were good, and the raspberry lemon drop was so delicious that I ended up having two! The service was quick and efficient, which was much appreciated after a long day of traveling. Add in the easy parking, good food, and a patio that welcomes dogs, and it made for a great dinner stop. The taste was just not there. On a separate note I can't believe a nice semi fine dining location does not provide fresh ice tea. I'm sorry but, the ice tea that comes out of a drink station is syrupy and has bad crap. Rather fresh ice tea is actually refreshing. At least next time I know to bring my own ice tea in.
