I don't know why this was my first time visiting Pepe's, there is a location in Alhambra that's been there forever and really close to where my parents live, but I never went there for whatever reason. But I'm really happy with my first visit at Pepe's. Prices are fair for what you get ($10 for the breakfast burrito) and the lady at the register was really helpful in accommodating my request for a modified burrito. I loved reading the history of the company and the owners on the wall while we waited for our food. The burritos were HUGE, hearty and tasty! The lady gave me a bunch of salsas to try and they were all good. I was totally satisfied with my meal! I didn't know until after I paid and saw my receipt that there is a credit card processing fee. FYI, pay cash if you want to avoid the fee.

I was also welcomed by a male employee who provided GREAT service. I ordered a California omelette with no salt, took a seat at one of the tables, and waited less than 10 minutes for my food. I received my breakfast: an omelette, hash browns, avocado, and dry wheat toast. A few forkfuls of my omelette and hash browns, and I was happy, as everything was delicious and well-prepared. This was a positive dining experience.

The burgers were juicy with fresh ingredients, the fries were crispy, and the portions were satisfying. Ordering items from the secret menu definitely makes the experience even better. Good service from the team members as well. You can see them communicating well and ensuring efficiency in getting the food made and out to customers in a timely manner. Sad to see all these ratings with people getting mad at the workers. We need to give them more credit. Today was a very heartbreaking day for me as I had lost my wife of 25 years this evening. I came here after leaving the hospital, it was about 10:20ish into the night. I was greeted by the worker and she took my order. When I approached the window she asked how my day was and usually I'd just brush it off but it was nice to have someone ask about my day. As she was charging me I had told her what happened. She sat there and shared a similar story about losing someone and told me something I'll cherish for as long as I live. Thankyou for making me smile one last time. So to the little girl with tattoos that took my order, Thankyou for making me smile and laugh. It's not everyday that you come across a genuine person like yourself. I ordered through the McDonald's app for pickup, and when I got home I realized my 6-piece Chicken McNuggets were completely missing from my order. It's frustrating because I paid for the food and trusted that my order was checked before being handed to me. Mistakes happen, but this should have been caught before the order left the restaurant. Having to drive back or spend time contacting customer service over a missing item is inconvenient and disappointing. I expect better attention to detail, especially for a simple pickup order. I hope management improves their order accuracy so other customers don't have the same experience. read more

This McDonald's has the worst customer service!!! People/kids working there need to be trained in better customer service specially the people taking orders at the drive through. I go here a lot and 80% of the time I have food missing or my order is not right when I get home. One time I saw a person behind the counter inside throwing gang signs to another employee in the back. They talk to people like their in the streets. No one says "hello welcome to McDonald's May I take your order?" Or not even a "hello". This McDonald's needs to retrain everyone!!! read more
