Probably because public water systems are too heavily treated with chemicals for health reasons, their java can now be based on "hard" or "soft" water that completely change the bite from the brew, usually to bad effect. Here, at least, the joe is stable and decent, and carries well on the long drive home. Same can't be said for their donuts. We sampled a few (sour cream, glazed sticks, blueberry)and found them all to be overly crumbly. Each bite or broken off small part of their circumference had pieces of dough and sugar falling in our laps no matter how careful we tried to be. Even attempts to vacuum each bite with focused inhalations failed to capture the runaways.
