This is my local McDonald's... Despite it being just down the block from me, I usually avoid it if possible and will go to the McDonalds in Eastgate or Newcastle because of how bad this one usually is. However on March 5th around 9pm I went through the drivethru for some fries and man...I have never in my life had fries from ANYWHERE that hit this hard. I was expecting some classic McDonald's fries, maybe I'd get them fresh, maybe they'd be a little room temp and soggy, I was willing to take the gamble And MAN THIS TIME THEY WERE NOT PLAYING AROUND! Ordered via kiosk and no numbers in the slot so chose a random one and guess someone did the same and somehow we both chose the same number. The guy working was super rude to me with the confusion saying the numbers are at the front. So the numbers are in the incorrect location and they expect customers to just know? If you like raw meat in your burgers, come to Factoria. I stopped by Wednesday May 27th around 8:30pm for a big dissatisfaction. The beef patty in my burger was raw, so I thought that it was probably a busy day for the line cook because they have to be quick all the time...so I took it back to the kitchen and retuned it. Slowest service ever. I've never had to wait over 10 minutes for my order at any Mcdonald's. + Trash everywhere.

Basically about as bad as a McDonald's can be as it is one of the biggest franchised restaurants in the world. In a nutshell, they make mistakes a frighteningly large percentage of the time and for some odd reason most of their food is not available right away, but instead have to have someone bring it out to you in the parking lot. I think they try to play it off like they're offering some extra fresh food other MdDonalds don't do, but we all know how McDonald's operates in all their locations. And lastly, while they make an unacceptable amount of errors, when you tell them about such error, they are extremely rude about it. Sucks all around and not in a good way. read more

Let's be honest, McDonald's is McDonald's. The food pretty much is gonna taste the same everywhere. What's unacceptable with this location specifically is their customer service. I had placed a mobile order and went through the drive thru to pick it up. I told the worker that I had a mobile order and she asked for my code, which started with. I told her this multiple times and she couldn't understand me. On the 5th or 6th time of me telling her my code, she then tells me that I placed my order for the wrong location. I was pretty certain I was right, so I asked if I could pull up and show them my code so they could get it correct. I pull up to the first window and tell the worker that I have a mobile order and the other worker couldn't hear me so I wanted to give him the code. He quickly dismisses me and says that he doesn't deal with mobile orders and that I have to talk to the person who I talked to. I drive up to the second window and say that she might have misheard me and show my phone with the code. The worker doesn't even look at my phone and immediately rolls her eyes and tells her coworker standing next to her that I ordered the wrong place. He then looks at me and says "we don't have your order, thank you" and shuts the window. At this point I have a smidge of doubt that I had the wrong location and didn't know how to check the location of my ordered. After I drove off, I clicked on order details and it said to pick up my order at FACTORIA. At this point, I was absolutely fuming that the worker essentially gaslit me and refused to even check if she was inputting the correct code. This is the worst McDonald's in the area. Went in 9/19/24 at 7pm. Used app and this location had no sodas available except hi-C. The Happy Meal Croc Toys were unavailable and they were just released 2 days ago. There were 2 employees with Happy Meals oh and they had Croc Toys! Employees were hanging out in front of the store instead of working. I was at curbside 1 for 20 minutes and finally walked in to get my order. I will be going to Eastgate location from now on. Drink was not completely full and was so watered down it was gross! It's okay. The food is very west coast McDonald's. The only issue I have with this place is when you do the mobile order they sometimes screw up by ripping you off. My best guesses are either and issue with mobile order itself (the McDonald's app) or they punch completion by accident or are in such a hurry they give it to someone else. I've lost 40-60 bucks in orders so far. Closest McDonald's near me so I'll probably just give up on McDonald's until I forget about the poor customer service. I will start by saying this McDonald's has some of the friendliest service and they're pretty quick at getting you your order. Normally I have no issues with their food but decided to try their crispy chicken sandwich. Virtually no condiments except a dot of mayo. Fortunately, the chicken was seasoned enough that I could semi enjoy it. I'd still recommend this location. Just bring your own condiments or remember to ask for extra. read more

My friend (with stage 3 cancer) was randomly craving a McDonald's cheeseburger so we went to go get one and politely asked for extra onion & pickles. To be mean, they gave ONE pickle and as you can see, basically NO onion? The line was no different than normal, yet they were having EVERY car pull over and wait for their food. I get that everyone has bad days, we all do. But seriously? Going out of your way to be mean is awful. Went to this location March 1, 2024, estimated around 3:45. This McDonald's is the WORST! They park every car after ordering so you have to wait extra time for the food and they never give sauces like asked. One time one of the employees told me it's because of a competition that they park the cars and that's when I lost it. I came there to get quick cheap and good food. I don't come here often, but every time I do they send me to a reserved parking space to wait for my food after the order. Every. Single. Time. This last time I got a fry and happy meal. Sent me to a parking space. There was one car already there waiting when I pulled up, and after I received my meal and was leaving, the car that was behind me was making their way to yet another reserved parking space. Food is what you could expect from McDonald's, but a little more disappointing than usual. Only reason I'm giving this location Three stars is due to the nice gentleman working the window. What's confusing about this drive-thru is that there are two speakers, but I've never seen the second speaker work. It always informs you to please pull forward, so there may as well just be one. I'm not sure if it was designed to have two speakers to help facilitate the ever-present line but with no one manning it, the drive-thru line is just permanently long. Despite the line, the employees at this location are generally really friendly and efficient. They know how to get their customers in and out quickly and with a smile. This place is a joke. Instead of worrying about there time they should be worrying about there customers. We had to tell them our order 3 times in a row and they still got it wrong. We ordered 2 sausage mcMuffin with eggs and 4 hash browns very simple order right. And told them 3 time over and over again for us to get to the window missing 3 hash browns. We offered to pay for the other 3 and they argued with us that we only order one and two told us they don't have a register at the window that we would have to drive back around. Been here many times and only occasionally found mistakes in my order. Biggest complaint is fry packages rarely filled-it's not like potatoes are so precious. What I did like was one day when I was in New Orleans, my daughter, a NHS student was hungry with no cash. I was able to order on the app and texted her the order # so she had a nice breakfast. Ordered ice coffee at drive up and got yelled at when I paid with deal code. When I ordered thru drive up he disappeared for 10 seconds and I thought something was wrong so I said Hello-? He yelled back I am working on it!! When I paid with coupon code, he looked angry, said why I didn't tell him sooner. Ended up another lady rang up for me.
