Iced Vanilla Bean White Mocha and Iced Hazelnut Milk Mocha
    Yash K.

I went to Dote Coffee Bar on a Saturday morning and got the Hazelnut Milk Mocha. I really loved the taste and flavor of Hazelnut Milk in this coffee. The service was very quick and the baristas made sure to remember our customizations. The space is very large and welcoming, it can accommodate 117 persons so there are a lot of seating options. The art and vibe inside are also very fun! Will recommend checking them out!

Great location. We ordered the chai latte, dirty chai latte, and iced oat mocha. All three were "good" and average. The pastries were a good way to have something with your drink but not something you would visit for. The truffles were pretty. This location is spacious and well laid out and had the vibe of a meet up place first and then drinks and food second and third. Think "Lap tops open/work space or college campus." Service was ok and transactional.

This coffee shop has many places to sit with access to outlets, making it a great place to hole up for a while and get some work done. The lighting was also on the lower end which I appreciate. My latte was a fairly standard vanilla latte, but wasn't too sweet.

2nd time is a charm! Last month we were around the area but couldn't find the location. Siri isn't always accurate with directions. Anyway, I heard wonderful things from some of my clients! Had to try it and it DID NOT disappoint. I went with a hazelnut mocha. They are known for their in house Swiss chocolate as the partner seems to be Sweden. They had truffles as well but I didn't get to try the food. Next time. It was a very clean environment and the barista was so helpful and patient with me. Great recommendation. Only downside is that during the week, their parking is terrible. Worth it!

Nichelle and Grisell our fabulous ambassadors of the Dote brand Notice the MOD bar where they do the coffee it's supposed to be more conversational, welcoming, and friendly, and the whole design as well as the team really abide by this. It's inviting warm that you can just sit in the corner and have a meeting or work. Or just relax some people watch as if you're in Europe. So excited to see them expanding in this really great little area in Bellevue called the spring District. Watch for it. It's just lovely. And great easy location. I've learned they just opened a walk up espresso bar at their culinary kitchen, which I believe is in Redmond But if you're looking for a really great spot for some yummy food, great coffee and I'm inviting Design that is both grounding and inspiring look no further - when there come to Dote

Great ambiance but less than stellar service. We had asked for a hazelnut latte and instead of confirming that they didn't have hazelnut syrup they subbed it with a completely different hazelnut milk mocha without letting us know. Pretty disappointing but they did let us switch it out.

All pastries and available sandwiches displayed. So many options!

I was super impressed with my first experience here. Lovely, bougie, spacious, comfy, and safe cafe with great drinks, food, and vibes. They have couches, tables, lounge chairs, chairs with cushions, outside seating...the lobby is very spacious. I loved the cozy cushion chairs, it was a perfect cafe to enjoy a matcha and read my book. The staff were super friendly, kind, and communicative. I ordered the matcha brownie, almond croissant (both pastries warmed), and a 16oz oat milk Matcha latte. I am very appreciative they use ceremonial matcha!! My matcha was beautiful and tasted great! The latte art was such a pleasant touch that it made me smile! Both pastries were sooo tasty...I think the matcha brownie was my favorite :) I would definitely return and would recommend!

Dote is a place so lovely that it's worth it to move to the apartment in the area and making it your coffee work space. It's super spacious (can fit maybe 100 people), never crowded, and conveniently located right across the street from the light rail station. It's mostly used by Meta employees but you can sit there and not feel shunned as you would around Amazon buildings. Don't need to say how good the coffee is. They specialize in chocolate/mocha varieties and you can purchase chocolates, pastries, coffee beans and more. They usually have a seasonal special as well.

Cute and cozy spot! Lots of room to work in a very quiet area of the city. I tried the golden milk for the first time and I liked it! I'm not a huge fan of ginger but it wasn't over powering! I liked the sandwich however the sausage was a little too peppery. I will definitely come back to work and try more drinks!

Great coffee. The cafe is great to work from. They do not label their food for dietary restrictions, so I never order food here. Its not convenient to ask about each food item

    Interior

Great coffee (decaf cappuccino and matcha latte) and nice modern interior on Meta campus but music is so loud I had to use my EarPods to mute the loud music. We had to talk loud to make each other heard. People from Dote: many people don't like loud music forced upon them. Play some nice French cafe playlist in the background. Sadly, we won't be back.

Sun-dried tomato scone & chai latte

Nice cafe to sit, relax, and enjoy your drink of choice. Appreciate that this cafe uses real cups. Right across the street from the Spring District light rail station in Bellevue. Chai latte and sun-dried tomato scone were both excellent.

Parking ended up being a bit of a walk, which had me second-guessing the decision at first--but I'm glad I stuck with it. The moment I walked in, the space felt thoughtfully designed. The flow of the café is one of the best I've experienced--open, comfortable, and easy to navigate. As soon as the door opened, the barista greeted me right away. The counter is positioned close enough that you don't feel awkward hovering like in some cafés where the bar feels miles away. It immediately felt welcoming. I visited on a weekend during a slower period, but since the café sits right next to a college, I can imagine the line spilling out the door during peak hours. At quieter times though, the layout works well--there's enough space for a couple people to wait without crowding the entrance. I ordered a cortado and an almond croissant. The croissant came warmed, and the texture was spot on: fluffy, layered, and not overly greasy. The almond filling had a really nice balance--nutty with just enough sweetness and a hint of salt to round it out. I was told the pastries are made in-house, and it definitely shows. It tasted like something made with care. The cortado itself was solid--pretty classic, nothing overly fancy. One thoughtful touch I appreciated was that it came with sparkling water, which was great for cleansing the palate. The space itself is fairly spacious and works well if you want a quiet moment to sip your coffee. That said, most of the seating is high stools, so it doesn't really feel like the type of place to settle in and study for hours. Overall, I really enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and quality of the food. The one thing that caught me off guard was the price of the croissant at $6.50. It tasted great and I understand prices in this area tend to run higher, especially for house-made pastries--but it's a bit outside what I'd usually spend. So while I definitely think it's good, it might not become a regular stop for me simply due to location and budget. Still, a great find and a pleasant surprise during a routine coffee run. This is the largest Mercury's Coffee location in Washington. I've been to the Kirkland location, which is drive-thru only, but this café offers a completely different experience. A fun fact is that Mercury's headquarters is located right next door to this location. One of my favorite things is that many of their pastries are made fresh in-house, and you can actually watch the staff preparing them. Their croissants are always a great choice, and I also highly recommend their breakfast sandwiches. They even serve pizza if you're looking for something more filling. When it comes to drinks, Mercury's has some of my favorite organic coffee beverages. The Caramel Macchiato is my go-to and one of the best drinks on the menu. The café has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great place to meet up with friends, study, or get some work done. It's easily twice the size of the Redmond or Kirkland locations, so it feels much more spacious and comfortable. The staff are always friendly, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the overall experience is consistently excellent. If you're in Bellevue and looking for a great local coffee shop with delicious food, fresh pastries, and plenty of space to relax, I would definitely recommend stopping by this Mercury's location.

When it was finally my turn, I ordered one coffee, but although my card was charged, my order was never entered into the system. After waiting 10 minutes while several customers who ordered after me received their drinks, I went back to ask about it. Instead of apologizing, the cashier was rude and argumentative. I asked for a refund since I had to leave, but they accidentally charged my card a second time instead. Eventually, another employee tried to process the refund and told me to check my card in a couple of days. This isn't about $6--it's about poor customer service, lack of training, and no accountability. Mercury Coffee used to be much better. I hope management addresses these issues.

Mr. Brioche ($11) - This sandwich starts with a rich toasted brioche bun, which is then slathered with some creamy and fatty aioli. A soft and tender, spiced breakfast patty is placed on top, charred just a tad to give some browning and develop flavor. Some eggs, cooked on the flat top in a circular mold which makes it perfectly conform to the size of the bun, is carefully placed on top of the meat, and then finally some swiss cheese cements the sweet vegetal microgreens atop. The bun is voluminous, especially noteworthy in height. The interior ingredients only reaches perhaps 1/3 the height of the bun, making it appear that the sandwich will be dry. But that's an impression soon deemed to be false, as there's more than enough moisture from the aioli and melted cheese to smooth things over. (4/5) I don't normally associate cafes, particularly ones that seem to lean more towards the drink side of things, to also serve good food. But overall, I came out pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food I ate. Bathrooms - Single unisex room.

BUT they are remarkably consistent, with perfectly chewy pearls and high quality teas. So, even though I'm paying a lot, I know it's going to be good. I got the Dong Ding Oolong with cream, perfect sweet and less ice with boba. The Dong Ding oolong is a high mountain oolong with a strong malty, nutty, roasty taste. It perfectly complements the cream. I prefer cream as opposed to milk since I think the cream gives the drink a thicker, more velvety mouthfeel if you mix it into the tea, plus before mixing you can sip on the cream and the tea separately, so it's like you can enjoy two drinks in one cup!

Because they brew each cup on order, I expected the tea to be more apparent, but in every drink I've tried it takes a backseat to other flavors. + DONG DING OOLONG TEA LATTE: I opted for light sugar and light ice. Despite being one of the most popular drinks, the tea flavor was weak and the cream dominated. It had a smooth consistency with subtle caramel notes, so it still tasted good, but I would have loved for the tea to shine more. At least the $1 addition of boba is pretty generous and I had enough for every sip! It was perfectly cooked with that nice chewy bounce. Since the boba itself is sweetened, going to 0% sweetness would probably be just sweet enough for me. + OSMANTHUS TEA w/ PASSIONFRUIT: Again, this leaned heavily toward the passionfruit rather than delivering a distinct tea flavor. (Side note: At the register, I received a sample of the High Mountain Pouchong Tea with Mango. This was sweet, super fruity and reminded me of mango nectar. It's really delicious, but only had a tiny hint of green tea.) + OSMANTHUS OOLONG HONEY TEA: I selected light sugar and light ice without toppings, hoping to taste the pure tea. I picked up the floral notes of the Osmanthus and the tea flavor came through a wee bit more than the other drinks, though still wasn't the dominant flavor. The amount of honey was on the verge of being too sweet, but the drink overall was refreshing and crisp. The new location in Bellevue Square is very clean with a few tables for two along the wall. It is consistently busy, so just be prepared for a wait. However, there are multiple employees preparing the drinks, so while the line appears long, they churn out orders pretty quickly without getting flustered. It's impressive! Given the steep pricing for the cup size and the weak tea flavor, Chicha San Chen wouldn't be my go-to spot considering all the other boba tea options in Bellevue.
