I've been to a lot of McDonald's due to all the traveling I do. I happened to go to this one almost everyday for a week for breakfast. First of all, they have an employee that was cleaning every morning while we were there. He takes pride in his work and does a great job. Probably one of the cleanest McDonalds I've been to. There were at least three employees I came in contact with when I did mobile order or counter order. All employees were very nice, helpful & smiling and would quickly grab extra pepper or honey or whatever else I needed. This McDonald's is one of the biggest ones I've ever been in. They have a play area for kids. They also get lots of Uber eats (or other delivery people) picking up orders. This makes this place very busy which can make for a wait at some times. The employees were great and hustle to get the job done - they aren't standing around chatting but working to get your order taken care of. read more

This restaurant has the worst Customer service. Employees with attitude and rudeness. I stopped at the McDonald's in Belton, Missouri for something simple -- a Diet Coke and an ice cream cone. When I got to the window, I politely asked the employee if the drink was a Diet Coke. Instead of answering my question, he snapped back telling me to "stop yelling" at him, even though I never raised my voice at all. Not only was the response unprofessional, but it also left me feeling disrespected as a customer. All I wanted was a clear answer to a simple question. The lack of courtesy and basic customer service was very disappointing. If management reads this, I hope they take the time to train their staff on how to communicate respectfully with customers. I only ever get the breakfast options and the sandwiches are fine but their iced coffees are always different. I either order the Vanilla or Carmel iced coffees. Some have too much Carmel or vanilla flavor but mostly they don't have enough flavor. Some coffees have tons of ice or no ice at all. This cup had a table spoon worth of coffee grounds in it that I didn't notice till after a drink or two. Idk what her name was, but black chick in window one who wasn't wearing her mask properly, had a crossbody purse on, doesn't know the freaking menu. Each time I come here and go through the drive-thru I'm am sent to a parking spot where I wait 10+ minutes. Fast food restaurants, at the second window, have sensors that time how long each car is there waiting for their food and those numbers are relayed to corporate. Once restaurants realized they could send cars to parking spots and it didn't impact their numbers to corporate, it really cut down on accountability and performance, imo. read more

We were Refused food at McDonald's because my daughter touched an artificial decorative leaf! My 7 year old daughter was off from school on Friday and for a treat her dad said he'd take her to the McDonald's in Belton, MO to get her favorite chocolate milkshake. The drive thru was insanely long, so he decided to go in and order. While completing his order a lady came over and shouted at my daughter to keep her hands off that! My daughter had touched a leaf on the counter. My daughter grabbed my husband's leg. My husband was mortified, and I think the cashier was too. The cashier went on to apologize for how she had treated my daughter. But husband said it was okay, but really you shouldn't be the one apologizing it should be the other lady. As soon the lady heard him say that she stormed over there, and she said "you need to teach your kid not to touch things and I'm not gonna apologize. We are not going to serve you and you need to leave." She then proceeded to give him cash back for his already paid food. In shock, he said she's looked forward to this all day, and you have to be kidding me?? He said, "I paid with my card, and I don't want your dirty cash." He wanted it back on his card. My daughter continued to cling to my husband's leg and reported to me later she was so nervous she was gonna get in trouble. Then my husband proceeded to ask for the manager, and she reported she was the manager....she was even the regional manager. As they left the manager shouted "you need to teach your kid not to touch things." If you know anything about my daughter you'd say she is very well behave and respectful. She loves to craft 24/7. I waited in line for drive thru tonight at 1030pm for an hour. By the time I got to the menu to order there was one car ahead of me and no ever even came on the speaker to her for over 20min, have no idea what was going on which means there were no cars in front of her. A sign up on the door and inside at the cash register stating customers and crew required to wear masks. It said without a mask customers would have to do drive through or curbside so it surprised me that 3 of the 5 or 6 crew members I could see were not wearing masks. McDonald's makes sure the job gets done. I went here most recently with a group of us friends. We took the time before going to figure out how we were going to pay, and what we were going to get. So, when we showed up we were ready to give our order and they were clearly ready to take it. We pulled up to the window after placing our order, and a friend who used the app asked if she could use a deal she found there. The employee kindly explained that the deal only applied for the online orders, which we assumed could have been an answer that the business could have given us. He explained we still got another deal that was going on, though, and we were thankful that he took the time to explain it to us. We took the bags that they gave us and started driving off when we realized that we were missing all of our orders of fries. But, there were people behind us who were already at the window themselves, so we could not back up. We were prepared to find a parking spot and come in with our receipt to explain the situation, but we did not have to. They already had an employee who quickly ran out the door and found us to give us the food we were missing. We thanked him and drove off. Worst McDonalds on customer service. Nobody at counter to take food order. Used food kiosk to enter meal. No receipt paper and picked my number with kiosk. Took number to seat and waited and waited only to find out that my food was left on counter. Why place a number when they dont bring it to you. Older couple waited at counter to place food since I understand not all people understand the kiosk. No service and they walked out! Terrible terrible customer service. Area where drink fountain was disgusting with catsup spills and tea lids not closed or secure on canisters. It's all self service! Like other reviews have said it is STILL the slowest McDonald's, WORST drive thru. I have sat in line with zero movement for 35 minutes. Staying more out of curiosity on what was the problem. The kitchen on fire? Waiting for a delivery? Zero food in the entire place? There is no excuse. I finally decided one time to try going inside. Maybe it will be better since they have a nice play place for kids. We only came in for ice cream cones and water bottles. We placed our order and 30 minutes later they still hadn't brought us our stuff. Stood in line at the front again with several other customers upset. No worker was standing there. Finally noticed one worker sitting on the floor behind the register setting up happy meal boxes. Any workers that walked by completely ignored all of us customers. The workers in the kitchen seemed quicker but focused on to go orders/ door dash. One manager passed by saying to the worker on the ground "you don't set up happy meal boxes on the ground, customers don't want to eat food from a container that's dirty, I know you're tired but please stand up" and walked away. The worker then gets up and starts griping up a storm to the kitchen workers saying that it was ridiculous she got in trouble and put the happy meal boxes in line to be used anyways. Finally another 15 minutes later we got HALF of our order. (Which was still just ice cream cones and water bottles) By then my kids were done playing and we headed home. read more
