Double quarter pounder (**MY "FOOD"**)

If there were a way to give zero stars, that's exactly what this McDonald's would receive. What should have been a quick, inexpensive stop for food turned into one of the most frustrating and disappointing fast-food experiences I've ever had. McDonald's markets itself on speed, consistency, and customer service, but this location failed spectacularly in every possible category. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. The dining area looked neglected, with tables not properly cleaned and trash bins overflowing. While I understand that fast-food restaurants can get busy, there was no sense of urgency or care from the staff. Several employees were standing around talking while customers waited at the counter, unsure if anyone was even going to acknowledge them. A simple greeting or eye contact would have gone a long way, but instead we were met with indifference. When we finally placed our order, things only got worse. The employee taking our order seemed annoyed that we were there at all. They spoke in a rude, dismissive tone, cutting us off while we were still ordering and rushing us through without confirming details. This immediately raised concerns, and unfortunately, those concerns turned out to be completely justified. The first order we received was wrong. Items were missing, substitutions we never asked for were included, and some food was prepared incorrectly. Mistakes happen, especially in fast-food environments, so we politely went back to the counter to explain the issue. Instead of apologizing or attempting to fix the problem professionally, the employee acted as though we were inconveniencing them. There was no acknowledgment of the mistake--just attitude. After waiting again, we received a second order... which was also wrong. At this point, frustration was setting in. Orders were clearly not being checked before being handed out, and accuracy seemed to be the last priority. When we pointed out the errors once more, the response from the staff was even more rude than before. Eye-rolling, sighs, and sarcastic remarks made it very clear that customer service was not something this location cared about. A third attempt was made to correct the order, and unbelievably, it was still incorrect. Receiving the wrong order once is understandable. Twice is unacceptable. Three times shows a complete lack of training, communication, and management oversight. It felt like no one was listening, and no one cared enough to make it right. The food itself, once we finally tried to piece together what we were given, was disappointing as well. Fries were cold and soggy, burgers were sloppily put together, and items that were supposed to be fresh clearly were not. Considering how long we waited and how many times the order was redone, there is no excuse for the food to be in such poor condition. What made the experience truly terrible, however, was the attitude of the employees. Mistakes can be forgiven; rudeness cannot. At no point did anyone apologize sincerely, take responsibility, or attempt to calm the situation. Instead, we were made to feel like the problem for expecting to receive the correct food we paid for. That is completely unacceptable in any business, especially one as large and established as McDonald's. By the time we left, we were exhausted, annoyed, and regretful that we had chosen this location at all. A visit that should have taken ten minutes turned into a long, stressful ordeal that left us hungry and frustrated. This experience reflects poorly not only on the staff but also on management, who clearly are not enforcing basic standards of service, accuracy, or respect. I would strongly not recommend this McDonald's to anyone. If you value your time, your money, and being treated with basic courtesy, you are better off going somewhere else. McDonald's is supposed to be fast, reliable, and convenient--this location is none of those things. Zero stars

This is ass they gave me 24 fries instead of 25, I'm pissed off. And the service was mad that I was there. And the inside looks like vomit. fix it, pls. 0-10000000 The worst experience.

My husband and I don't really plan on eating here because we just come to use the machines, take a few classes, and sit in the hot tub (which is pretty amazing); however, we decided to give it a shot just to say we've eaten there. Life Cafe's philosophy is to provide clean, healthy food to the people using the facilities. That means no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial ingredients, organic and gluten-free options, and so forth. To my surprise, they actually do a good job of sticking with this philosophy and creating a yummy menu. They also make a variety of smoothies with fruits, juices, yogurt, and milk (almond milk available for $.50 more). Whey protein is added to nearly all smoothies but you can request VeganMax protein instead, which is Lifetime's vegan protein supplement. SWEET. (I hate whey.) My husband ordered the savory roast beef sandwich and I had a wild-caught grilled salmon salad with a smoothie. The food is made fresh behind the counter so there is a slight wait. However, you're able to sit at the table and hang out until they bring the food to you (you're given a number sign when you order). My husband's sandwich seemed kind of small; yet, my salad was huge. They were both REALLY GOOD -- much better than we had expected from a place inside a fitness center. My strawberry/banana/orange juice smoothie was good although I could taste the protein powder with every sip. I got used to it. I wish they had more veggie smoothies. The cafe has a good amount of tables, large windows, and shelves of products for sale. I pretty much ignore the walls of products, but the snack bars are cool. So what's the catch? Why the four stars? The food is EXPENSIVE! Kyle's sandwich and my salad were nearly $9 each. I realize that the quality is amazing (and heck, Lifetime's membership isn't cheap) but I just can't afford to pour more money into this place. I'm still glad we tried it!

Maybe it's all that serotonin straight from working out, the friendly employees, or the nice natural light that'll flood right into this cafe. I enjoy just sitting here. Smoothies are awesome. I have never had one I did not like! They frequently update their menu so look out for new items arriving every now and then! Totally recommend stopping in!

The decor is beautiful and thoughtfully done--it honestly makes you want to just sit back and relax for a while. The owner was super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. We ordered a dragon fruit refresher, a mocha coffee, a lemon fruit pastry, and the Dubai chocolate cheesecake--and everything was amazing. The drinks were fresh and flavorful, and the desserts were on another level. The Dubai chocolate cheesecake especially was rich, unique, and seriously one of the best desserts I've had. Overall, this place checks every box: great vibes, great service, and incredible food and drinks. Definitely coming back again soon. Highly recommend!

The place itself has a beautiful aesthetic and is honestly really nice to sit in. The drinks and food are normally good and everything usually tastes fresh. This time I ordered a matcha, but the worker heard mocha instead. When I asked if they could remake it, he flat out said no and blamed me for the misunderstanding. Even if there was confusion on my end, I still feel like the situation could've been handled better. Customer service goes a long way, especially for returning customers.

I had a small window to pick up the product (between 3pm and 4pm), so I was guessing I would get what didn't sell that day. I was pleasantly surprised what I received. I got a mini cream puff, eclair, cannoli, spinach croissant, and a few other products. All were very good. In addition, the young lady let me taste some gelato. They have around 12 different flavors. I tried the mint one. Outstanding. I will buy that one next time I visit. The place is fairly small and I can't speak for the selection at the beginning of the day, but what she packed was a great sample of what they offer.

I stopped by when passing through the area for a coffee and to check out dt Bloomingdales new addition. I loved that this was located in an older house and had seating both inside and on the front patio. The gentleman working was filling a sub order before helping me. There was minimal signage posted so I got to ask about what they had to offer. I decided on an iced lavender latte and two donuts to go (biscoff & cannoli). Everything was ready in minutes which was great! My coffee was strong but had minimal lavender flavoring. The donuts were the real win! $2 for each, great flavor filling, and super soft! While the coffee wasn't my favorite in the area, I'd definitely come back to try other baked goods and the sub sandwiches!
