Wish i could give zero stars to this location. Whoever was working 12/25/21 around 8pm should get fired. Absolutely the worst customer service by calling me a liar and bitch for messing my order up. Even when i showed him the bag with missing food. Then proceeded to yell through the window. His name was either josh or tanner, either working fries, shift manager or night manager. A not so customer service friendly position because he sure did not show it. I am furious and my bf was furious the way i was spoken to. I recieved my order very rapidly, which was a pleasant surprise until I discovered that my food had been undercooked. I know management pressures staff to get food out as quickly as possible, but I'd much rather wait a bit and get a fully cooked meal. read more

Two stars for good food. But the service was not. The self-ordering kiosk didn't print out receipt. The staffs didn't seem happy working there. They forgot to hand me my food after it was done and left it sitting behind the counter until the customer after me got his food they realized that. Besides the greeting at the door this has to be the worst McDonald's in regards to customer service. I rarely leave reviews but wow. I'm on a very tight schedule since I'm only visiting but I thought McDonald's would be the quickest. The messed me order and I stood at the counter for 5 minuets without one person asking me what's wrong with my food and I had two Uber eats guys complains about how long they were taking. Manager and workers looked at me but said nothing. When I was finally asked I explained and she took the bag from me and the burger and threw them away didn't say sorry didn't offer me anything for the mess up and the wait. Then after a minuet I heard a worker ask what did she want again so again she explained it and when I got my food it was correct but the lady who gave it to me was not sincere about her apology at all. I'm really perplexed by some of the less positive reviews that I've read about the 28th Street McDonald's because my experiences are consistently so positive. Even during the pandemic with the increased number of customers ordering through the drive thru I continue to be so impressed by the excellent service and friendly nature of the McDonald's staff. The service is what keeps me coming back to this specific location and the quality of the food is always perfect and accurate. I honestly wish other fast food restaurants provided the level of service and quality of food that the 1800 28th Street location continues to provide. I am a grateful customer. Listen. I've had my fair share of McDonald's visits. All I really wanted after a long strenuous day was a nice six piece chicken nuggets. And you know what I didn't want? A got damnt Dr Pepper. Well to my surprise, when I went to receive my order I indeed received a Dr Pepper instead of the crispy succulent six piece that I wanted. When I found out well was I quite disappointed. I gasped as I received a medium Dr Pepper in place of my six piece chicky nuggies. when I asked the lady at the window she looked at me like I was loco crazy. I told her that I had ordered a six piece, two spicy Mcchickens and a large fry and a sprite NOT!!!!! a Dr Pepper. Who the heck even drink Dr Pepper?! Disgusting. Anyways I told her that I wanted chicken nuggets originally and she must've missed heard me. Instead of grabbing a manager and trying to sort it out I saw her causing a diddly dang commotion about my chicken nuggets. I gave her the Dr Pepper back and another woman comes out and demands $2.17. I say what! That's nonsense! That's bananas! I paid one whole hard earned dollar plus tax for a disgusting Mr. Pepper. Phd! I didn't want in the goddamn first place! The staff is rude and can't take basic simple orders without making mistakes. It's really not that difficult. The person who handed me my food was one of the managers and he was the rudest of them all. When I went inside, the manager became combative and hostile. I've visited McDonald's all over the world. Went here for lunch yesterday, and had a very horrible experience. Staff seemed irritated, and the menus were just plain obnoxious. Everytime I tried to look at the menu, it would swoop away into some kind of ad. Worst of all, is that only half of their menu was even up there. I would highly recommend the bk next door. Terrible. Reviewing from a note I wrote in my phone on Wed, Oct 7, 2015 (around 8 PM). McDonald's just launched a breakfast-all-day event, and Wednesday offered a free Egg McMuffin between 5 AM and midnight. My source were at least two websites describing this (regarding Colorado stores, at the very least). The catch is you wear what you sleep in to the store. So, I donned a white tank top and soft black/white zebra pants, got in my car, and made a trip to the drive-through. I asked for an Egg McMufin. What resulted was a really dumb and degrading experience. The first employee at the window was a young teenager; I showed my phone and he walked off, only to return with a woman a bit older, about one minute later. I offered my phone screen and tried to hold it, but the woman insisted to hold it over the ledge (hanging about 2 meters to the asphalted ground). After over one minute, she said certain stores aren't honoring the deal. I provided another website, immediately, and asked her, "are you sure?" So, she said she would call the store manager (...wasn't she the manager? Aren't I in the drive-through lane? Doesn't the damn sandwich cost a measly $3... probably a quarter to make?!). Next window; woman there didn't know what was going on. I finally explained that some lady had sent me there and was supposed to call somebody about making my sandwich free. The woman at the window sought the woman on the phone, who showed up and says, "LET ME SEE YOUR PAJAMAS!" Oh my. So, I lean forward in my sedan and expose my white tank top. She asks, incredulously, "A white shirt? THAT's what you wear?!" Ummm, yes.. is. I respond with, "I could sleep naked and would arrive without clothes, but that'd be in appropriate." So, she tells me to show her my PANTS. Oh, jeez. So, I try. She rolls her eyes and says she'll give me the sandwich "this time". As if she hasn't tried to degrade me and as if it wasn't a deal McDonald's has advertised. Jeez, thanks. I do thank her and ask for her name and the store manager. She says she called the sub for the manager, since she's on vacation. First, she says I should return in the morning, but eventually gives me the name of the store manager and the sub... with spelling difficulty. I smiled and thanked her for the sandwich, and left. The sandwich was cold and dry. It barely went down my throat. McDonald's, if you're going to offer breakfast all day, please don't make it stale and dry. I could just make my own breakfast in the morning and then let it dry out throughout the day. So, thanks but no thanks. Customer service FAIL. Food FAIL. New promotion FAIL. As a colleague said at school earlier that day, "Free sandwich? Nah. McDonald's isn't even real food." read more

They seem to have their act together. I normally get what I asked for and don't have wait too long. Which is the target when I pick MCD. There is a constant homeless bunch out front so don't come expecting to eat outside, and I have had some bad luck with the outer drive through speaker pick the inner path if you can. read more
